Contractor reviews in Parlin, New Jersey

I had a project that required due diligence and attention to detail for a mid-scale multi-unit dwelling for a REIT that I’m involved in. Tom’s expert knowledge and ability to get projects done on time are his strong suite. Time was of the essence since renters would take occupancy within one month. We had a week to spare.

Had a bathroom renovated. Reliable and showed up on time everyday. Project was done within budget and timeframe. Great work and pricing. New bathroom looks great. Will definitely use again in the future.
A+++.

Everything they said ,they did

Exceeded all expectations! Quality work, professional service all within budget and on time.

They were on time excellent work highly recommend for work as General Contractor.

Been working with Gene's crew for over 2 years doing kitchen, bath, patio. Always results in a great job and will continue using for projects moving forward.

We have now used DeSimone for 3 projects and very happy with outcome, done quickly and prices were excellent. Project 1 - painting exterior of home / Project 2 - building 22 foot closet / Project 3 - baseboard entire floor of home.

Amazing contrsution quality and the DeSimone team is top notch. They are detailed oriented, with beautiful work. They are on time and no crazy hidden upcharges at the completion of work. We will use them again and again for anything we need done to the house!

Recently had DeSimone construction repaint our two story carriage house. No shortcuts were taken and everything was done above expectations.
Will definitely be using them again.

We had used DeSimone Construction as our contractor for getting our house in order after a small fire in the laundry area. Gene and his army did a fabulous and professional jobs lol around the house which also included remodeling the bath. They were very skillful and also took proper precaution at all times during Covid-19 ensuring safety of all involved.
I would recommend them surely for any job!!

It’s hard to find the words to do this review because the process that Giuseppe and Desimone Construction helped us through is such an emotional one. Two months after I moved from Texas to New Jersey into my fiancé’s house, we discovered mold in our basement and called in another company to do the remediation. It ended up a complete disaster area with 2/3 of our finished basement being torn apart and one of our kids bedrooms on the first floor.
By the time Giuseppe came to fix everything, I was an emotional mess from watching my home be torn apart... but his personality was infectious and for the first time in weeks I felt like I could breathe. Outside of just putting our house back together, we had a couple of new doors and windows done, decided to redo our bathroom and have a closet built out in the basement for all of the warm clothes I needed to move to Jersey.
Along with my clothes, I brought my Texas style with me and when I described to Giuseppe my vision for the bathroom, he got it completely. The attention to detail that was paid to everything, especially the tiling in the bathroom, was absolutely phenomenal and the ideas he suggested made it even better. I couldn’t be happier with how my bathroom turned out. Everything turned out amazing but I can not stress enough how much I LOVE my bathroom!
We have actually called them back to do more work in our home and finances willing, we will also have them back when we do our addition to our home. 100% highly recommended!

After discovering a sewage leak in our kitchen, we needed to have it pretty much ripped out and treated by Serve-Pro for mold and water damage. I am new to the area so asked the gentleman from Serve Pro to recommend a contractor. Gene came out the next day and got started right away! Excellent job with the work performed, and Gene always promptly answered my texts and calls and was very helpful in making suggestions for new flooring, backplash, etc. I highly recommend Gene and his team for any job, big or small!

After having several negative experiences with contractors Gene was a breath of fresh air. Honest, punctual and fair. Top quality work with fair and honest pricing. Plumbing, electric, tile flooring and cabinetry done impressively and in a timely manner. I would recommend Gene for all renovation, repair and construction needs.

Honestly- I waited about two weeks to write our review not because I wanted to look around my house and see if there was anything wrong- but instead, to find the right words to tell the world how grateful and beyond happy we are with how well our home has become. Purchasing a home was not something we envisioned for a few years, however, after a random email on a late night , we stumbled across a much needed professional helped foreclosure. Because it was a time where real estate agents were not able to show homes, we blindly put in an offer. Once our offer was accepted, Eugene came out during the home inspection and was honest about what it required but was still understanding of what we could afford.
As you can imagine, work was backed up- because NYS would not permit work but once Able, Eugene and his crew moved SO fast. We moved into a three story, four bathroom, three bedroom house in about two months after closing. Every issue, I was notified promptly. They were beyond polite and professional. If I walked in the house and looked at something funny, they picked up immediately how I felt and changed whatever it was. They stayed around until things were perfect or where my husband and I wanted it to be. We went from a house vacant 10 years with 14 broken pipes to a new modern, rustic home that we can grow in. Beyond the pandemic we had a rough year, but Eugene and the guys made our visions into reality - and showed us how good people receive only the best - with patience and dedication. We are so beyond pleased with the level of work, the time, dedication, skill set, and professionalism that Eugene and the guys have to offer. We’ve been recommending them to anyone and everyone possible and will call if we ever need assistance in the future. If we could give ten stars- they totally would earn it.

Gene worked on my deck and did an outstanding job. The deck looks even better than the day that it was put it in.
He power washed it and replaced the rotten board.
He stained the deck flooring and wall. He even painted each spindle in the contrasting color that I asked for. He replaced the screen door and painted the wood to match the house. No detail was overlooked. He touched up the paint that was peeling on the house. He does quality work.
I highly recommend this contractor.

They are professional and honest guys, they did the job perfectly and take care of details, also leaving my house net and clean after they are done, DeSimone a great Gentlemen who arrange and organize everything, well-done! Decalin is the estimate man who is patient and polite, always doing an extra and right job to make the customer happy. Thanks so much Declan for your nice treatment, Gene, is a great experience for general construction and a very helpful thanks man.
I would recommend your company to everyone.
Thanks again De Simone, Decline, and Gene.

Matt was responsive and easy to work with from the get-go. Several very large limbs from one of my oak trees were cleaned up and removed. A replacement section for my custom fence had to be built from scratch, thank you Declan! Promises made, promises kept. It’s a pleasure working with professionals.

Time and time again I’ve used DeSimone Construction and time and time again they continue to impress us. The team was attentive to our needs and wants. They were able to extend, repair and repaint my existing deck. We are truly appreciative of the work they have done. I will continue to work with DeSimone Construction for future projects because I trust their work and professionalism but also I trust they will always put us first.
