Reviews of local pros in Plainfield, New Jersey

J&L Budget Tree Service removed a 65-foot rotting maple tree from my backyard. The team worked efficiently and safely, taking great care to protect my driveway, lawn, and surrounding landscape. In addition to safely bringing down the tree, they cleaned up all of the debris afterwards. I highly recommend them for any tree removal needs.

I have used J&L Budget Tree service for several years and have recommended them to several friends and neighbors. They respond quickly when I call to get a quote and their quote is always the best. The crew arrives on time and consults with me before starting the work. After the job is completed they ensure I’m satisfied. Any issues are rectified and they clean up all debris before they leave.

Very professional. I used them because their reviews were so good. They did a wonderful job and I would definitely recommend.

Very smooth process and a professional, responsible company with good process in place. J&L removed multiple trees and pruned by power lines. This company has great equipment and good workers that seem to know what they are doing; they are happy to answer any questions. The crew arrived as scheduled and worked late to ensure they finished the job. The job site was cleaned well after completion. I will use this company in the future if needed.

J & L Budget Tree Service did a phenomenal job with cutting down our trees. I was so fascinated with the tree removal process. They were prompt and professional. Furthermore, they did a great job with cleaning up any debris that was left from trees. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

J&L Budget Tree Service did an excellent job of removing the tree and tree roots from our front yard. They arrived on time, they have the right equipment for the job, they were done in less than 90 minutes, and they did not leave a mess behind. I highly recommend J&L Budget Tree Service.

They were recommended to me by an arborist that I trust. They were really diligent, especially with protecting the surrounding landscape and cleaning up afterwards. The pricing was fair and they took lots of time to work carefully and not harm any of my surrounding trees.

The team at J&L are consummate professionals. I never imagined that getting rid of a 60 ft maple tree nestled closely between two homes in a backyard could be done so quickly. They were here in a week and it took them only five hours in 90 degree heat to finish the job. The process was quick, smooth, very reasonably priced and I couldn't be more happy with the result. If you're looking to get work done on your property, then look no further. These guys are the best. Thank you to everyone at J&L!

This company is very professional and diligent. They will work with you for you and your budget for whatever landscaping needs you may have. Ownership is quick to get back at you regarding any inquiries unlike other companies.
Moreover, I had two large oak trees in my backyard yard and they were removed without any issues and any remaining debris was properly removed. I highly recommend this company and my neighbors can attest as they have also used their services.

We had the most amazing experience with this company! I cannot say enough good things about them. Within 48 hours of contacting them they had someone out to give an estimate, and had the tree down and gone. From office staff, to the man who gave the estimate, to the crew, everyone was so helpful and professional. They did an amazing job cleaning up, even did the leaf blower on my driveway and street even though they didn't mess it up. The pricing was amazing and affordable as well. I very much recommend them, you won't be disappointed!

Save yourself the trouble and time of shopping around for the best tree service. Just call J&L Budget Tree Service. I received three quotes from three different companies and not only was J&L the most economical but also was the first to come out to assess the work. Orlando was very professional and knowledgeable but also kind and patient. He answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. I was put on their schedule within a week at my convenience, and the job was done to perfection. My yard looks so well manicured now. The office staff is also very professional and kind. If they miss your call, they return it within minutes. I can't say enough how pleased I am with J&L. I've had so many bad experiences with contractors over the decades and with the invoice being much higher than the original quote. Not so with J&L. What J&L quoted is what the invoice had. I'm not exaggerating when I say this was my best experience in my life dealing with a contractor. I recommend them 100%, and I will definitely use them again as the need arises. No regrets whatsoever. I have never used them before. I do not know them personally. I am really a first-time customer who will now be a life-time client.

This was my first time using J&L Budget Tree Service. The crew was attentive to what I wanted done, completed the job with excellence, and perfect clean up. I will hire them again and would highly recommend their services

The just completed a job at my house in Long Branch, involving climbing a large maple. The climber was amazing as was the ground crew that cleaned up everything. Other than the branches missing from the tree, you would never know they were there. Awesome company. Highly recommend them to all. Orlando and his crew a pleasure to work with. Christie

Excellent estimator and crew. The crew worked safely, quickly and cleaned up everything behind them. Thank you!

This company is the best. This is my fifth job that they do for me. Four of them were in my backyard and one was in my daughter‘s backyard. They are very reasonable in their pricing. Their crew is very amazing . They come on time.
They also always clean up whatever area they work in. I can never say enough about how good this company is. Make sureyou use it for your next tree job.

Had an older tree that looked like it would not make another year with out falling. Fairly tall. They came early (10am) did a really nice job taking it down with out any damage to surrounding trees or property. I would like to say you could not tell they where ever there but there is a tree missing and stump leveled. :)

Orlando and his team did an amazing job with cutting branches from off our tree in the front yard. Large branches would fall all over the yard during a rain storm with heavy winds. As a result, my family and no longer have any concerns. The price to remove all the branches was very reasonable and the clean up was spectacular! Thank you so much!

This is actually second time, j & L was called in to cut some trees. They did a fantastic job, cutting carefully as not to let branches fall close to house and made sure the lawn was clear of any debris when they finished their tasks.

J & L did a great job in removing a locust tree that had fallen from Hurricane Henri. They also ground the the stump and leveled out the area so it looks like the tree was not even there. They also did a nice job in cleaning up after they were done. They had very reasonable pricing. I would highly recommend them.

Very pleased with the work this team has performed. they removed 2 big i mean big trees from my property and made it look easy while doing it where others have failed or said they couldn't do it J&L got it done !! Thank you so much

Good price. Quick and professional. Pleasant workers. Overall great experience. Will recommend.

Use them a second time now to take out 9 trees. They were super quick, efficient and neat. Was shocked at the speed. Friendly and professional too. They had to get the huge truck on my new front lawn to reach the trees in my backyard. They assured me well and clearly set expectations. And it turned out even better with no damage done
