Constraction reviews in Ridgewood, New Jersey

Our second job with Homestead as we gradually replace sections of our aging roof. They're responsive, reasonably-priced, and reliable. Even went above and beyond crawling into our attic to help solve a non-roofing problem! Highly recommend!!!

I HIGHLY recommend Homestead Roofing.
I reached out to them regarding water leaking from our 2nd floor ceiling after a very heavy rain.
I called and scheduled an appointment for them to come out and give me an estimate.
The estimate was lower than I expected, so I gave them the approval to go ahead and do the repair work.
I was pleasantly surprised when they showed up the next day. Two people spent about 3 hours removing shingles, repairing flashing and then re-shingling the area of the roof that was causing the leak.
When I received the invoice it was for the amount of the estimate...no surprise upcharges.
All-in-all this was a fantastic experience, and I recommend Homestead if you need roofing work done.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Homestead Roofing. From the very beginning, I just felt comfortable with them. I had received several other quotes, some lower, some higher but what made me choose Homestead was the genuine sense of caring and trust I felt right away.

I also appreciated that they have a brick-and-mortar storefront. Not that I expected any issues, but it gave me peace of mind knowing there’s a place I could walk into if I ever needed to.

The job they did on my roof was excellent. They were attentive, clean, and very professional throughout the entire process. Jeff, the owner, worked directly with me the whole time and was fantastic to deal with. He even took the time to show me what I felt was a better shingle option, with some really great choices in both quality and style.

In the end, I couldn’t be happier with the results. I truly felt comfortable and confident moving forward with them, and I love the finished job. Highly recommend Homestead Roofing!

Excellent work! Homestead responded right away when our roof was damaged by strong winds and provided a temporary repair.
Then they replaced our roof & gutters and repaired the chimney, all done on time and at the cost promised. Our estimator Bill Bell kept us updated and responded quickly to all questions. Very clean & professional job.

We had an excellent experience with Homestead Roofing's replacement of our older, damaged roof. Paul, the supervisor, provided clear and greatly appreciated support throughout the process. Everyone was prompt, efficient, considerate, and courteous. We were especially impressed by the long workday used in order to completely remove and replace the roof. Only a short time the next morning was needed to finish with thorough clean up.

Highly recommend this company! The office is well run, the whole team is courteous and respectful of property and they do their job very well and efficiently. We will use them again for any roofing needs! Including snow removal from the roof to avoid ice dams in the winter! Thank you!

Homestead provided excellent service on a flat roof refurbishment project. Provided excellent communication on the work schedule, work was done in a timely manner with no debris remaining on completion. They came afterwards & did a little camouflaging work to help blend in the appearance. Would highly recommend them.

My downspout had come loose after a storm and wasn’t directing water away from the house. I called for a repair and was impressed by how quickly William responded. He arrived on time, inspected the gutter system, and explained exactly what needed to be fixed. The pricing was straightforward with no surprises.
They replaced the damaged section, secured it properly, and made sure the water was flowing away from the foundation before leaving. William even cleaned out debris while they were up there. Everything looks solid now and we haven’t had any issues since. Professional, efficient, and easy to work with. Highly recommend William.

Ulrich Inc has wonderful and professional staff. I was recently working with their Project Manager, he is a great guy. I would highly recommend!

Ulrich is way above the run of the mill kitchen and bathroom construction contractors . Employee owned, customer friendly, professional group. Easy to do business with.
I highly recommend this company.

Ron is a good person and has the know-how, however, we have been talking to him since June of 2021 about a job that should have only taken 3 days at most. It’s now December and he can’t give me any time because he has other more important jobs. My suggestion is to have an agreement with timelines in place for this business.

No one is better. Designed and remodeled two bathrooms that were better than planned and imagined. Ulrich also came to our rescue when we needed to replace our stove and remodel part of our kitchen. They eased our stress, which helped us relax during a very difficult time without the use of our stove. Our hats are off to Bonnie and Bart. Professionals through and through.

The guy who installed my cabinets, Gary, did a great job. He also installed my microwave, which needed the siding outside of the kitchen to be cut out and new siding put in. He did such a good job, you can't even tell that it was replaced. What a nice guy! He's a long time employee with Ulrich and I can see why. You rock, Gary.
