Reviews of local pros in Ridgewood, New Jersey

Excellence. Homestead does a great job with the maintenance on my 1935 slate roofed house. We had a chimney issue this year and the mason William brought in was actually extraordinary. Very happy to have this team on call.

Homestead was very professional and did a fantastic job.
They gave us several options and worked through the process with us.

Homestead did a terrific job installing flashing for my skylight and a small roof repair. They came out the day after providing an estimate and were efficient and explained everything they would do. They stuck to their estimate with no surprises and left the premises completely clean.

Homestead crew did great job repairing my slate roof. Had a crew of four guys come first thing morning and were done by noon.

We had a repair issue with our cedar roof, due to storm damage, and turned to Homestead as our trusted local roofer. Jeff is great to deal with. They came within a few days to give us an estimate and were able to complete the repair shortly afterwards, with their usual competence and professionalism! Highly recommend!

Very responsive even during extreme weather conditions. Thorough job. Excellent communication. Highly recommend!

Just had my new roof completely by Homestead Roofing.
This is the 3rd job they have done for me in 2.5 years. I first had them change out our skylight. Then 1.5 years ago my Mom needed her sky light changed at her house and we used them.

Last week they completed our new roof. It looks beautiful. The whole process was very smooth from beginning to end. William was there or in contact every step of the way. The company is very professional and honorable. The owner, Jeff, stopped by to review the work as well. They guys were very clean, covering the bushes and picking up every piece of scrap. We actually had 2 roofs, as the prior owners put the roof over the original. You could imagine the debris. Everything was cleaned up. It was a great experience. I would highly recommend using them. You will not be disappointed.

The team at Homestead did a fantastic job diagnosing and repairing our nearly 100 yr old slate roof. Wm Bell was always responsive and flexible scheduling around a stretch of erratic weather. Work was neat and thorough. Very few companies even respond when they hear slate. Thankfully, Homestead has the opposite approach!

Owner Jeff Willner was great to work with. He was true to his word, responsive and on-site to check work. His crew did excellent work start to finish. I highly recommend Homestead and felt they were a better value than the five other roofing companies I interviewed for the job.

I had a fantastic experience with Homestead Roofing Company. From start to finish, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. They responded quickly to my request for an estimate and came out promptly to assess the project. The quote they provided was fair and clearly detailed, with no hidden surprises.

The work itself was completed exactly as outlined in the contract, and the crew was respectful, skilled, and efficient. They took care to clean up thoroughly once the job was done, which I really appreciated.

A special shoutout to Bill, the project manager, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was communicative, responsive, and ensured that everything went smoothly from day one to completion. His attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction really stood out.

Highly recommend this company if you're looking for reliable, honest, and high-quality roofing work.

Homestead Roofing Company did an excellent job on our roof replacement in Ridgewood! Our primary contact, William, was such an honest pleasure to with as he handled the inspection, estimate and scheduling of all work completed over nearly 4 full days (during some challenging inclement weather!). The Homestead crew (headed by Juan) was extremely hard working and very professional. We also had Homestead replace cedar shingles in many areas that had been rotting and damaged over ~27 years and they did a great job on the house siding too! As an engineer, the quality of their work was impressive. Bottom line … I would highly recommend Homestead Roofing Company if you are looking for top notch local roofers.

We are very pleased with the Homestead Roofing from diagnosing the leak problem, providing a timely estimation, completing a thorough repair job and having a superb customer service to always answer the questions. We will highly recommend Homestead Roofing.

Homestead did a great job - I would highly recommend! They were super easy to work with from start to finish, and got everything done in the timeframe promised. They replaced skylights and repaired the roof in multiple spots. Professional and great work!

Highly recommend Homestead Roofing. They are fantastic to work with. William the first person who came and gave me an estimate was awesome. Thanks to Jeff, Diego and his team and Cathy from the office. They did a great job. Thanks to you all.

Crew arrived at promised time and began working. Worked on cleaning roof and gutters to look like new. When done they cleaned up debris from roof and gutters. Good job all around…

Once again Homestead Roofing came through when we needed them. We had a terrible leaking roof, Homestead repaired it quickly and completely, and their price was very reasonable. I would recommend them for any roofing job without reservation.

Courteous, professional, fast, and fair. We replaced a 20+ yr old roof that started to leak. William provided a quick quote and sent a repair crew to stop additional leaking before the roof was replaced. Job was well organized with samples, materials, and dumpster drop-off and pick-up. Roof was finished ahead of time – in our case, in one (longish) day. Good job on clean up too.

Jeff and his team at Homestead did a fantastic job of transforming our home. We are so happy with the outcome and love the new Hardie siding and roof.

I recently had my roof repaired and I am absolutely thrilled with the outstanding service and results. From the moment I contacted Homestead, their professionalism and expertise were evident. I called and that day, Richie promptly came over, assessed the damage and provided me with a detailed explanation of the necessary repairs. He's been doing this for so long he zeroed in on exactly what the issue was. The crew arrived two days later on time, rang my doorbell to introduce themselves, worked diligently, cleaned up everything and completed the project within the estimated timeframe. The quality of their workmanship is exceptional, and my roof now looks as good as new. I am grateful for their attention to detail, excellent communication, and commitment to customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Homestead for anyone in need of roof repairs.

I have been using Homestead Roofing since 2002. The first job was to put a replacement roof on my auto repair shop. Typical flat roof for a 3 bay shop built in the 1950's. They did an excellent job. Over the years they were consistent. Showed up for scheduled and non scheduled services/repairs as needed. Roof coatings and flashing, etc. They most recently help guide us towards a better roof coating product that has worked well and solved the leak problems it was supposed to. In life, you get what you pay for; some say Homestead is not cheap. I disagree. I think they are a top quality pro service and talent, care and concern all come at a cost. They have assembled a great team of people. Thank You Homestead. Here's to another 20 years .

I’ve used Homestead Roofing three different times. Each time, everyone from the Office Staff to the Supervisors to the Workers have been courteous and efficient. Each job has been well done. Highly recommend!!
