Courteous and helpful staff on the phone. Courteous and helpful staff who go to you site for you heating and a/c needs. Staff also arrives in the allotted time that they say they will arrive and they will also let you know ahead of time when they are approaching your location. I definitely recommend this company for your maintenance needs and for installation of new heating and a/c unit if your existing unit(s) needs replacements

After sweltering through too many NJ summers without central air, my husband and I decided to put in a proper AC system this year. Since our house was built in the 1920s with radiant heat (no ducting) and almost no closets (where one might hide such ducting), we knew it was going to be a big, complicated job, and thought we'd need something like high-velocity AC. Tom came out, took a look at our situation, and explained a number of different options, finally designing a system ideal for this peculiar old house: dual Mitsubishi units (one in the basement, to cool the first floor, and one in the attic, to cool the second), with all ducting confined to the utility spaces. He accommodated our schedule for installation exactly as we requested it, was up front about costs, and didn't go over budget (he even upgraded a portion of the system at no additional cost to us). Perhaps best of all, his team was amazing: his guys (especially Mark and Jason!) were punctual, professional, patient, they explained everything as they went along, and they consulted me if they needed to make a change. They were also incredibly neat; they put down canvas to protect my (beloved) wood floors, and managed to do five days' worth of significant construction without doing any damage. They didn't even scuff the paint in our (super narrow) hallway, going up and down to the attic. And they installed a system that makes our basement and attic look very sleek and space age. I am always impressed by people who are good at what they do, and these guys are the best!

The guy that was sent out to service my dads unit seemed nice and professional, He told us that the unit was an older unit and that they didn’t make the type of coolant anymore but he had some in his truck. My dad told him that we only wanted a pound and instructed him to let us know when it got to a pound (because he didn’t have a lot of money to spend)! He told my dad he was at a pound but stated “I’ll just put some more in for you”. Once he was done the total was approximately $300 more than what he initially quoted us for! He charged my dad for the additional amount “he decided to put in” (which we didn’t ask for)! This was very unprofessional. My dad is a senior citizen and the fact that he took advantage of him is disgusting! We will not be using this company again.

Ward immediately addressed my problem and I was back up and running by day's end. I find them to be honest, reliable, and trustworthy. To find this today is rare, and they will remain my goto to for our HVAC needs.

Great service. Had a water heater go. They came right out on the morning of my call. Work was completed in a matter of hours. Would highly recommend. A locally owned business.

Was scheduled for a 3:30 pm appointment. I had to seek permission from my boss to leave work early in order to make the appointment. I received a confirmation text and e-mail. It is now 4:30 pm and no one has arrived yet. No one called either. I am now just sitting here like an idiot waiting for these people to arrive. Meanwhile the entire rest of my day is on hold. Might I mention I live within walking distance from this place and yet they still are oven an hour late. I tried to support a local business but this particular business is obviously no good. Very unprofessional. I will not be using them for my service.

Update: Over 2 hours later I finally get a call from 'Sal', telling me he was on the way. I told him not to bother coming because he was over two hours late. Sal basically acted like a jerkoff and didn't seem to care that he was over two hours late with no notification. These people obviously don;t run a good business and if their work is anywhere near as bad as their customer service, then this company is not worth using. I'd rather freeze than give my business to these people.

They are the real deal. Nicest people that I have worked with. I have been waiting for the shoe to drop but it hasn't. Great customers service! Great work! Guys thank you so much! We will use you anytime we need anything with heating and cooling!

During last heatwave I called Ward and despite being new customer, the nice lady on phone squeezed me in on a Friday afternoon. Sal came out, he was very professional, helpful and friendly. He gladly answered all my questions and explained everything. That has not always been my experience with other companies! Sal quickly and inexpensively solved problem. I will use them again.

All of the staff at Ward Heating & Cooling are friendly, courteous, reliable and skilled. The recent installs of a new heater and new air conditioner went well.

I'm new to the area, and for reasons which may be obvious, I decided to contact a local company, Ward Heating and Cooling. And no, we are not related. I received a callback the morning of the 1st business day after I left a vm; I was scheduled for the following day (we were in the midst of a brutal heat wave, so no doubt they were slammed) and Tom (the tech) showed up exactly when I was told he would, even though I was a late addition to the schedule. I was expecting the worst but was told I had a clogged condensation line, which Tom had fixed in short order. He then showed me what I can do going forward to prevent clogs in the future, as well as answering all of my questions. I cannot think of a single thing that would have made my experience better. I will definitely use Ward for any HVAC needs I may have, and strongly suggest trying them if you're anything other than thrilled w/your current service provider.

Had a great experience from start to finish. They were quick in reaching out to give me an estimate dor a ductless mini split Ac. Tom was very professional & informative when meeting with me. Installation crew was on time, neat, respectful & very good. I Would definitely recommend this company!

Just had Ward come out and give me a work up on my AC unit because its new to me and god knows how old it is. Joshua was amazing, very professional. Down-to-earth spoke to me like a human being and not like somebody who's in the industry. No scare tactics or any forced sales pitches. It felt like I was hanging out with one of my friends who knows a lot about HVAC. And this is why we only use Ward!!
