Reviews of local pros in Rutherford, New Jersey

I just moved to NJ and Gene and Marcos were great helps in getting me settled in. Gene was able to source a PTAC unit for me and was able to install it for me. As well as mount my TVs to the bedroom and livingroom walls and install my Yale lock to my front door!!!

We’ve worked with Gene on everything from painting to building a mudroom, and he’s our go-to for any home project. He’s not only skilled and reliable, but he genuinely cares about doing the best job for his clients. His attention to detail and craftsmanship is outstanding, and he always goes above and beyond. We trust him completely and will continue to call him for all our future home needs!

Gene did an amazing job. He was quick and efficient and very knowledgeable. I would definitely call him for future projects.

Fix It All Genie and Gene took on various projects for us around our home, helping to get our renovations over the finish line with the highest quality of skill and attention. Beautiful craftsmanship, very personable, and a pleasure to have in our home. The best!

We had drywall repair and painting done. Fix it All Genie gave us a reasonable price and kept us informed every step of the way. Best of all, they kept my house incredibly clean, which is very much appreciated. I highly recommend these folks!

We were in desperate need of a reliable handyman to come fix a few things in our home. We had a very dangerously installed shower door that was wobbly and a few other fixes around the house. I contacted Gene and he replied quickly. We set up a visit to see what needed fixing. And about a day later he sent us an estimate. Prices were reasonable given the scope of work and he buys the material. He was very accommodating as my husband and I both work full time. One thing I appreciated was his communication. He responded fast to texts and always let us know when he was on the way. We’re also really impressed by the quality of the work and they even cleaned up after themselves.

During a recent storm my roof suddenly collapsed. I needed it fixed ASAP. My neighbor recommended Fix it All Genie. They came through for me. Absolutely excellent work! Couldn’t be more satisfied! Looks amazing! Trust me give them a call!

Gene got back to me the day I submitted the quote request and we were able to set up a consultation visit. After we agreed on the price and time he came in and fixed the issues I was having around my home really fast. Everything looks good, I really recommend him if you need repairs done around the house

Quality construction these guys do excellent work👍

Did a great job on my house. A complete second floor that is 2 years old. Highly recommended.

THEY ARE THE BEST COMPANY EVER MY HOUSE LOOK SO MUCH BETTER NOW THANK YOU GUYS. AMIGOS Y AMIGAS SI QUIEREN REMODELAR SU CASA O SU APT YA SABEN A QUIEN LLAMAR A SEEHAUS & WALKER CONSTRUCTION.

Seehaus and Walker did an awesome job on an addition for our home. Todd and his team are organized, professional, polite and masters of their craft. They kept to their timeline and were very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them for your construction projects.

All I'm going to do here is list the things that have been identified as problems after my home was renovated after a fire by Seehaus and Walker 5 years ago.
1. Improper roofing install. Broken plywood was used during roof construction that caused a void in the roof and subsequent leak that impacted multiple floors of the home within 5 years of construction.
2. Installing an interior door where there was an exterior door called for on the architectural plans. The door was warped and had to be replaced within two years of renovation. I didn't realize the discrepancy in the spec sheets until it was too late.
3. Creating an improperly supported knee wall that leaned and was never repaired when brought to attention of Seehaus and Walker within 9 months of moving in.
4. Improperly installed flashing on the trim of the exterior of the home that failed within two years of install and had to be fully replaced along with paneling.
5. Improper placement of gutters compared to architectural plans that impacted water management around the home.

This is what I've had to pay out of pocket for other contractors to fix and we're getting into +$10K zone now. There are other things I've had to repair myself that pop every few months like stair trim, door knobs, unsupported shelving, and bathroom fixtures.

Thank you to Seehaus & Walker for the beautiful new deck! They were so quick to respond & did an amazing job! Highly recommend them for any construction needs.

Blue Diamond is an excellent cleaning service. Never disappointed and the team is always on time and a pleasure to have here in my home.

I have had several different ppl cleaning my apartment but until now I never knew what clean really was.. The other places did a good job but we're not subjected to detail.. Blue Diamond was very good.. They not only cleaned the couch the cleaned underneath it.. Bathroom was spotless as well as the kitchen... They did a great job!!!
