This company spent a full day, 9-5 PM, at my house cleaning. The company owner Kate ended up coming to the home to help with the cleaning. Knocked 1 star off because at the end because one of the employees parked idly in the driveway for an extra hour even after the job was finished which was unusual. Knocked a second star off after discovering parts of the kitchen cabinets were still sticky even after the cleaning was finished. Multi-purpose cleaner was used everywhere and I needed to wipe down all of the counters after they left just to make it feel hygienic post-cleaning. Due to the specific brands of cleaning materials chosen the smell was overwhelming while during the cleaning. There was no broom brought. To be fair, it is an older home and required a really deep clean but I think I was expecting a more efficient and better quality service but I am still appreciative of the cleaning that was done. Also, what I was initially quoted of $389 ended up being $586, both numbers which seemed arbitrary but which the owner said was based upon the employee hours, but the explanations for cost were unclear. Still tipped as a courtesy, but not sure I’d recommend this service to any friends or colleagues.

I have been so lucky to have found eMaids! They are the cleaning company I’ve been using for my food trucks for the last 2 years. Everyone on staff has been so nice to work with; extremely professional to me and my employees, reliable (which is very rare nowadays), and always on time. They have kept our fleet of trucks clean to the required State and County Health Inspection standards every day. We used emaids of CC for about 1.5-2 years for standard cleanings every 2 months. They were very receptive to work with us on pricing and schedule. After a little bit of turnover in the beginning, we eventually had 1 consistent cleaner come for most of the time, who quickly picked up on our preferences and did a great job. As may be common in this industry, she eventually left and we were assigned a new person. After about 3-4 cleans, it seems she has left as well. Unfortunately the quality of work varies greatly from cleaner to cleaner. Our last cleaning was today, where our regular person either called out or quit, and another person who had cleaned for us one time came instead. In the past when whoever was assigned our place was running late or was sick, it was communicated to us pretty quickly and we were flexible with rescheduling or having the person come a bit late. There was unfortunately no message or call that there was a change this time, to which my wife and I were mildly upset as the communication seemed pretty good up to this point. The person began about 30 minutes late and overlooked a few details that I was able to catch prior to them leaving, including the microwave not being cleaned and the garbage cans not being emptied in any of the rooms. When my wife communicated our frustration to one of the co-owners, they were quick to cancel our business moving forward. I can imagine this time of year can be stressful for a business owner, but this seemed rather abrupt. While we would have liked to see some acknowledgment of our frustration, I don't think it would be fair to give 1 star due mostly to this one bad day, and am giving 3 stars because we did have a good experience for a while and the pricing can be competitive. We wish Jake and Kate the best of luck in their business moving forward!
