Fantastic work by Eddy and the Cambridge team to repair damaged roof and window trims to eliminate leaks. From the very first visit, Eddy was exceptionally professional and cheerful, provided a competitive quote, suggested ideas to reduce expenses. Ours was a multi-week project and Eddy kept me appraised throughout of both his findings and actions required to fix. Despite very hot days and thunderstorms, he and team maintained their schedule to get the job done well, and on time. Cambridge Roof Repair came to our roof rescue and exceeded all expectations. The journey started after my husband noticed a section of ventilated soffit had fallen off of our home and was occupied by a large bird’s nest. After contacting the original roofing contractor who replaced our roof five years ago to address the missing soffit, we learned the owner of the business had died and his company was no longer in business. After contacting the manufacturer of our shingles, having a lifetime warranty, Owens Corning (OC) provided me with a list of their platinum and preferred certified roof partner contractors to work with moving forward. Being the highly detailed individual that I am, placing high value on a solid work ethic, devotion to one’s professional craft and being intentional with keeping communications open with customers were key starters during the vetting process for me. After three OC roof contractors didn't meet expectations, one of the three contractors did discover to my horror that a large section of hip & ridge cap shingles on one of the roof ridges had blown away, but never followed up. With additional vetting and expanding my search parameters, I was reluctant to contact Edli due to living outside of his service area, but after reading the consistent perfect phenomenal reviews from previous customer experiences with Cambridge Roof Repair, I decided to contact his company, so glad I trusted my instincts. From my first phone interaction in which an onsite consultation was immediately scheduled, Edli worked with me and was incredibly patient during two warranty claims processing encounters, which required taking specific roof images, providing me with sample fasteners and additional hip/ridge cap shingles from my roof required for the claims process. In addition to executing on what the claims process required, Edli also took the initiative by taking key video footage in addition to sharing his overall assessment which included additional concerns impacting the integrity of our roof that my husband and I were not aware of and provided sound options as resolutions. Edli provided great insights and a very competitive/reasonable quote all within 24 hours after meeting me just as he promised, all evidence of Edli being a man of action and a man who honors his word.  Edli not only replaced my ventilated soffit with a new one, but he also removed a large bird's nest, reinforced/secured Seal joints and edges to prevent moisture and pest intrusion, secured new soffit panels to the homes framing, recovered and secured some flashing that was located in a few areas that were exposed, removed my old compromised mesh ridge ventilation system over four of my roof ridges - replacing them with AirVent Shingle Vent II Ridge Ventilators and new hip/ridge Owens Corning Shingles, replaced a damaged vinyl corner siding on my front porch with a new one, he and his employee respected my property - ensuring to clean and tidy up the areas they were working in. Earlier on during Edli's overall assessment he showed and explained to me why I also needed to replace my chimney chase cover due to rust which would eventually impact the existing wood fascia board. Edli informed me that rust is a common problem associated with roof contractors who use the cheaper aluminum material and explained his custom solution which uses a more durable material to remedy properly replacing a chimney chase cover. Plans are already in place for Cambridge Roof Repair to replace my chimney chase cover next season with full confidence.
