Terrible company!! The bottom line is that an untrained worker with no experience at all caused extensive damage to my home, and the owner refused to take care of it, once he discovered how much it would cost.

I used Gibson Electrical several times and they are very quality oriented and fair.priced I wish I had heard about them sooner

We had an electrical box put in our ceiling to hang our chandelier. The work was done very well. We are very pleased and will definitely use them again. ☺️

Stay away from this company. Outrageous and rip-off. Two people sent to fix a beeping electrical smoke detector. Would not have called but a new battery and it kept beeping. They were able to fix it in minutes. Over $185!!!!!

Professional and reliable. Steve was very informative and worked with me on the financing. I definitely recommend his company and will be calling him for any future electrical needs.

Came out for a few different jobs & experience was different each time. Professional company, & reasonably priced but quality of job is HUGELY dependent on the specific guys that come out. I’d probably use them again, but will ask for specific electricians.

Pros. Upfront pricing that was accurate and reasonable. Got my backup generator installed 2 days before Nor'easter and of course lost power - started and ran like a champ. Highly recommend

I called Gibson Electrical at the request of Lowe's. I just purchased a new dishwasher and needed to change a circuit breaker from 15 amps to 20 amps. I called Gibson to received an estimate. Keep in mind, I'm no electrician. The electrician asked me " is the electrical cord heavy enough to take a 20 amp circuit"? I explained "I don't know, I'm not an electrician. He then asked how far of a distance from the circuit box to the dishwasher, again, I not good at judging distance so I asked "How is it possible to get an estimate without coming out to look at and diagnose the problem? He answer, "you can't but we don't like to get stuck on small jobs and we charge to come out". Does he mean, because the job is considered small, they will try to justify their time by inflating the cost? He claims "We charge $125/hr. My answer, $ 125 is not the issue but I without knowing the cost of the job, would you hire them?

Gibson Electric is always quick to respond, their technicians are very polite courteous and knowledgeable. Never had a problem with them they do great work

Great company! Had them out two times once to fix a problem with our kitchen outlets that three other companies could not figure out. The other to run a line in the back garden for a fountain. Professional , great prices, neat and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!

I had a ceiling fan that wasn’t working.The two workers were very nice.They were here 15 mins and had to re connect a few wires that came un done.I was charged $399 which I thought was very high.My complaint is the price.

I had Gibson add a sub-panel to my new garage. Steve and the front office communicated clearly and often. The electricians showed up on time, we're professional, and did a great job. You couldn't ask for a better experience. Thanks Gibsons!

A soap dispenser in my bathroom was broken while electricians were at my home, I called the company to get to the bottom of it and the front desk person called my roommate a liar and was not returning my calls for 3 weeks. Then proceeded to tell me I shouldn’t have waited 3 weeks even though I called multiple times. I understand accidents happen but I wouldn’t be so upset if they just responded to my calls in the first place & not have berated me through the phone.

Arnold and Anthony did a great job installing three fans for me where there were no light fixtures in the ceiling. They made minimal holes in the walls knowing I would have to patch them myself and cleaned up after themselves. They were pleasant and professional and the price was right on target.
I will absolutely recommend Gibson Electric to any and everybody.

Excellent work. No games. I needed a line run and they ran it in a way that was best for me, not their pocket. Because of this, I have contracted them multiple times since. I don't know them, and I don't usually write reviews. I was just very happy with their work and professionalism. Steve was great on the phone and straight forward and Colin was great on the install. We’ve often used Gibson at our work and have always been satisfied; I’m happy to say their residential service was no less satisfactory. Courteous staff, competitive pricing- and most importantly, getting the job done right.

Today Gibson electric replaced and installed 2 ceiling fans. They scheduled me two weeks out , called to confirm the appointment and arrived on time. They were quick, thorough, professional and nice. I will definitely be using them again. Also, I had two other companies schedule and never show up. Dependability and respect for the customer is important and I appreciate Gibson electric for providing both.
