Me and my wife hired Approved Chimney recently and they were very professional, clean, reliable, and did everything they said they would . They cleaned our chimney after probably years and years of neglect from previous home owners. They also fixed some bricks and waterproofed the chimney. All in all a really good experience and am glad we hired them. Excellent company.
The are very good they did a chimney liner for as very good job and very professional
We needed some major repairs to our old chimney, and decided on Approved Chimney to do the repairs using Thermocrete. It was a great experience and the improvements are noticeable in the room where our fireplace is (room is warmer when fireplace is burning), and in one of our upstairs rooms a noticeable odor (smokey/sooty) is now completely gone. Jeff from Approved Chimney was great to work with and the team that did the install was courteous, professional, and showed a sincere interest in doing the job right, at a very competitive price! Highly recommend!
Job went very smoothly the guys were great. Very clean job site and they were very knowledgeable on the entire job. I would recommend Approved Chimney highly, excellent job.
I found the company and its employees to be very responsive. Jeff gave us an idea of the work that needed to be done to remedy a problem with water getting into the fireplace and we decided to also update the liner. No pressure. We scheduled a date and George showed up on time and worked all day with a helper to get the job done. He answered any questions we had and was pleasant and professional.
We recently moved into a 100-year-old home with a fireplace in the living room that looked outdated and was deemed unusable. My wife, who grew up with a fireplace, insisted on having it inspected to see what it would take to bring it back to safe, usable condition. After asking around, a friend recommended Approved Chimney. Gina from their office suggested a Level 2 inspection, which is more thorough and involves using a camera to examine the interior of the chimney. Given the age of the chimney, we agreed, especially since we wanted to understand why it wasn’t usable as the realtors had informed us. Jeff from Approved Chimney conducted the inspection, using the camera to reveal the issues, including cracks and holes in the chimney. He also educated us on fireplace safety and proper use, which made us relieved that we hadn’t attempted to use it without a professional inspection. After the inspection, Jeff recommended the necessary repairs to bring the fireplace up to code and ensure its safe use. What really impressed us was his expertise and professionalism, particularly when he inspected the heating chimney connected to the fireplace—something we didn’t even know existed. To our shock, it was completely blocked with years of debris, which was alarming since our water heater and boiler vent carbon monoxide through that chimney. It had never been inspected, cleaned, or maintained. We’re so glad we called Approved Chimney for the inspection and even happier that we chose them for the repairs. On the day of the repairs, the crew was incredibly professional, covering all the floors in the work area and handling everything with care. It was clear that they are true professionals in their field. This gave us peace of mind, and we’re now looking forward to using our fireplace this winter. I highly recommend Approved Chimney for their professionalism, and we’ll definitely continue using them for regular maintenance in the years to come.
