This is a poorly run company, and their 'response' below is either absolutely dishonest or delusional decision, and I'm not sure which is a bigger issue - backwards, upside down lack of accountability and only proves the point. Situations/problems should actually be handled in the exact opposite way the technician and owner have handled my two experiences. I attempted to give them a second chance after permanently damaging a couch on every side the first hire (and blatantly denying the absurdly obvious until finally admitting today they damaged it and would have lost a lawsuit only it wouldn't have been worth the time/money), and the experience actually deteriorated. I didn't imagine that was possible. Very unprofessional. The worst accountability issues I've experienced with an operating business. Find a mirror. The edited response - continued dishonesty. Stanley Steamer is too expensive, lack of competition. Perhaps I should get into the business and handle things correctly. I've left about 5 google reviews in my life, 3 positive, and 2 negative for this one business. I've added photos below of the blatantly obvious damage. These marks are all over the couch, they must have had the temperature too high and/or pressed too hard. A very strange and even unbelievable lack of accountability. These photos were taken 5 years after the damage occurred. The lies in their response only dig the hole deeper as I'm obviously being completely candid.

We hired this cleaning group for several services: cleaning four carpets (with pick-up and drop-off), a sectional sofa, and a reclining chair. Unfortunately, the overall experience was very disappointing.
First, the process itself was confusing. We were not informed beforehand that the full payment was due at the initial pick-up, before any services were completed or items returned. This led to some frustration and miscommunication with the on-site team, though Chris did step in to clarify and, very graciously, offered a free cleaning of our dining table chairs as an apology for the confusion. This gesture was appreciated.
However, the main issues were with the quality of work and the follow-through.
When we opened two of the four returned carpets, they still looked dirty and had a persistent bad smell, so we didn't even bother opening the other two.
After the sofa and chair cleaning, once they had dried, we could still clearly see dirty spots that were masked by the initial dampness.
We immediately reached out to Chris about the carpets and he promised to send someone back to re-clean them. Despite following up multiple times, no one ever came, and our issue was not resolved.
Ultimately, the core services we paid for—clean carpets, a clean sectional, and a clean chair—were not delivered to a satisfactory standard. While we appreciated the attempt to remedy the initial scheduling confusion, the failure to perform the main work properly and the lack of follow-up on the re-clean promise means we cannot recommend their services. We hope they can revise their processes and improve their quality control in the future.

Got a lot of the stains out of my carpets. I am really happy with the service.

They came on our time frame and made adjustments according to our needs. The tech, Reginald (Reg) was exceptional, so kind, professional and knowledgeable. He really is special and he did a great job as well! I highly recommend them!

I booked stair carpet cleaning and kitchen tile cleaning, which was supposed to include the hallway as well.

Once the cleaner arrived, he tried to upsell additional services such as an enzyme treatment for an extra $80. I declined the enzyme application for the stairs.

The kitchen tile cleaning was done reasonably well, and I have no complaints there. However, the stair carpet cleaning was far below average. They only applied soap and water to the carpet—there was no steam cleaning, which is standard for carpets. It appeared this was done intentionally because I declined the enzyme treatment.

Additionally, the hallway was not cleaned at all.

Overall, it was not a good experience. The service lacked transparency, and there was clear pressure to pay extra without delivering quality work. I would not use their services again and do not recommend them.

Robert was very professional and efficient. In less than 2 hours, he was able to clean 3 floors of carpet and 2 stairs; all stains were removed, and we are a pet + baby household! Thank you. We will use these services again.

I was lucky enough to be given Reginald who made this cleaning experience simply wonderful. He was enthusiastic, never stopped working, and by following his recommendations elevated the outcome. I am really really happy with the end product. Merry Christmas to him and yours.

Robert was very friendly, professional and efficient in his work, it only took him 1 hour and a half to clean all three rooms plus the hallway and stairs and I must say I felt like a kid in a candy store with the end result of his work the carpet looked like how it did when we first moved in brand new. Absolutely phenomenal company very thorough and communicative. Will definitely be booking with them for our next cleaning service for our carpets! The photos I posted might not do justice for how well they cleaned because I don’t have any before photos and the lighting doesn’t highlight the quality but it’s just so beautiful and clean. Thank you a million times over!

I had my full basement and two rugs cleaned, and Technician Redge did an amazing job! He was extremely nice, very professional, and paid close attention to details. He went over the dirtier areas multiple times and made sure everything looked perfect. He also explained the whole process clearly. Highly recommended!

After having my home painted, my carpets needed some serious help. I am in aww of how beautifully they came out. Reg did an amazing job! His knowledge and attention to detail was unmatched. I used The Cleaning Group service in October 2025. I sent a payment of $176.57 via Zelle. Unfortunately, my husband also sent $176.57 by mistake, resulting in a duplicate payment from our bank accounts.

Since then, I have been trying to contact them to request a refund for the extra payment. The first time I call, they answer and tell me they need to check with their accounting department and ask me to call back in an hour. However, when I call back, they do not answer. This has been happening repeatedly since October 2025. I have even tried calling from different phone numbers, but the same pattern continues — they answer the first call, ask me to call back later, and then stop responding.

I have still not received a refund of $176.57 and am unsure how to recover this hard-earned money.
