I just had huge mounts of leaves and branches removed from my property ( years of accumulation) and I am SO SATISFIED with Amaya and his crew. Amaya is very professional and also the pricing was so fair.
I will definitely hire you for big jobs again!

Jamie was super friendly and services are affordable. Yard looked super clean and they were really fast! They took down a bunch of overgrown plants and trees, removed a bunch of huge rocks embedded in the ground and planted new grass seed. I would highly recommend.

I recently moved to a larger home in Annandale, NJ and was not prepared for the amount of lawn maintenance/management of the property. By the beginning of Spring we saw the weeds starting to appear and naively thought we could do the yard work ourselves with no problem. In a matter of a month, we were staring at a forest of weeds in all of our garden and mulch beddings. We finally caved and started the search for landscapers. I called Amaya Landscaping, which are located in South Plainfield, NJ and Jamie called me back. Although I wasn't in their zone of where they worked, he said he was willing to come out and check to see what needed to be done. Even to his surprise, he couldn't believe how the weeds were so overgrown, but with confidence, he stated it was something he and his team could tackle in a day. I really was skeptical at first that he would be able to get it cleaned completely but once he sent over the pictures after the job was done, I was floored. It was like night and day. He and his team were able to not only remove ALL of the weeds from the mulch and garden beddings but he cleared the weeds that were growing through our driveway and walkway pavers. My husband and I were extremely impressed with the amount of attention and care they exhibited to making the garden and mulch areas look so clean. They were able to restore the look of the property back to how it once was when we first moved in. I could tell that he took a lot of pride in wanting to produce quality work. It was as if he took it as a challenge and the outcome of their hard work really spoke for itself. Thank you Jamie and a big thank you to your team for all of their dedication to producing quality work. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for landscapers not scared of hard work.

We had an enormous job to do in our backyard and were turned down by 3 other companies due to the time constraints and amount of work we needed done. Amaya- got the job done in 2 days! Put up a fence, leveled the yard, seeded, removed tree stumps and a ton of Poison Ivy and Oak. Even with them finishing in two days it looks amazing. They did not sacrifice quality for speed. Love our new backyard!

Wow what a great job Jamie and his team did at our house. We had such a big job at our house with tree trimming, cutting trees down and fixing all of our planting beds. They were quick, clean and the place looks fantastic! What a great team ! I highly recommend them.

Amaya was very communicative, on time, and overall excellent in customer service. Jamie Amaya removed an old retaining wall and replaced it with a new concrete block wall. He also replaced a old slot fence with a new privacy fence. Jamie and his crew worked hard under tough conditions because no equipment would fit leading to the work area. All work was done by hand and smaller equipment . He remained on site whenever his crew needed direction and leadership. They often worked 6 days a week starting 8 AM and often were there at 7 PM. Jamie coordinated the site activities securing permits, helping to design the project and, satisfying our needs for a quality end product. All of the work was done at a reasonable price. I would rehire Amaya Landscaping and Junk Removal for future projects .

Unfortunately my experience with Jaime was not good, after having signed a contract in Spring 2019 for $ 6,000 to do the grass in my yard, he was slow to start arguing that he had a lot of work, and then he came when the summer had already started and put seed of poor quality that caused a wild grass to grow, he returned almost at the end of the 2019 autumn because my complaints and recognized that the work was badly done, as he had not put enough land, he asked me again at my cost and he paid for the labor, I accepted. Winter passed and in 2020 spring of the grass had a better appearance but 30% of the area had many holes, Jaime recognized that the work was not quite right and told me that he would do it again for $ 1,200, cheap according to him.
Amaya company does not care about me, they just think about money, that is why they used in my project, low quality materials, and then him does not give me any guarantee if he is not paid.

Jaime and his crew went above and beyond! They did a phenomenal job transforming our backyard. We appreciated his openness and honesty in regards to answering all questions. We would highly recommend Jaime and his crew as they are a trustworthy team. We will be using them again.

I was installing an inground pool and needed a landscaper to fix up the yard after the pool and patio installations were complete. Amaya came highly recommended and Jaime and his crew did not disappoint. I submitted a request for an estimate and Amaya was immediately in contact with me to set up a day to visit the property. Jaime is very pleasant to work with, listens to your ideas while offering his own, and clearly has the experience with the type of project I was undertaking. He had no issues returning to the property a few time to discuss other landscaping matters that came up during the pool portion of my backyard project before he even won the job. I knew he had full command of what was required so he became the runaway winner of my job. He was also willing to work with me on price, which was a bonus.

Amaya is a one stop shop for your landscaping needs. In addition to grading and other aesthetic improvements he made to the pool area (pressure treated wood boxes for plants, decorative stone around the equipment to make them much less of an eye sore, reseeding of the lawn, fixing up existing garden beds), they also do hardscape work and storm water management solutions. They installed paver steps to connect the existing patio to the pool area and did a really great job of making it look like the steps where there from the beginning. This was the first task they undertook when starting the job and confirmed right away that I had hired the right people. They also installed the storm water infiltration trench that was required by the town due to the size of the pool project and made sure it blended with the overall landscaping of the property.

Amaya brings the attention to detail when doing your job of someone who is not only good at what they do but takes pride in what they do. They want to leave you with the best backyard possible. In our case, it was another success as the backyard has become what my wife and I always dreamed it would be. I cannot thank Jaime and his team enough for all the work they did and very much recommend Amaya to other homeowners in the Union County area looking to do landscaping projects.

Jaime and his crew have done several jobs for us now and we couldn’t be more pleased with everything they’ve done. From pruning overgrown shrubs to removing a decrepit garden shed to laying a gravel path and patio to assembling and installing a garden arch — each job was done swiftly and beautifully. Terrific experience! He came out same day for a quote, and was able to schedule my work within a week. I had an entire backyard ripped up, leveled, and seeded with hay. The price was the lowest of 3 quotes I got, and the work was done within 1 day. Cleanup was exceptional and everyone was professional. Wouldn't hesitate to hire again.

I came across Amaya's on NextDoor by chance. They did some fence work for a neighbor that was exactly what I needed done. They replied to my inquire the same day, and came out for an estimate at my soonest availability. They were able to start the next buisness day after my acceptance of their offer. They were on time and completed the job quickly, efficiently and with a high level of quality. The price was extremely fair. Great value for my dollar! I can't say enough good about Jaime and his crew. I left a message and got a quick response and he was here within hours to give me an estimate. He was upfront, honest and more than fair in his assessment and pricing (our cleanup was a big job with different aspects needed). I was expecting the job wouldn't be able to be done for a while, and to take more than a day, but within 2 days he and his guys were here. Three of his crew got here early and without hesitation started immediately after they got their equipment out.  Jaime came a little later with more guys and equipment, they too got straight  to work.  They were all very professional and hard working, as well as being polite, personable and friendly. Everything was done (plus a few extra requests) and done within one day.  If I could give them 10 stars I would.  With the extensive range of services they offer, this will now be my 'go to' company to call.

The crew from Amaya was terrific to work with. We had a number of projects on our list to fix. Jaime gave us a fair estimate for the work, and his crew did a terrific job. They completely transformed our front landscaping. They removed several planted areas. They planted new grass in four large areas where we had trees and shrubs removed. Our lawn came in very quickly and looks great. We will definitely work with the Amaya crew when we need more work done. Highly recommend.

Amaya Landscaping helped us with landscaping (and junk removal) for several years.

This past year we needed to fix the house, inside and out, for sale. Amaya and crew did numerous jobs inside including painting the entire house, removing old carpet, finishing and polishing floors, new flooring in the kitchen, moving and removing lots of stuff, bathroom repairs (including plumbing) and more. Outside more landscaping, removing a dead tree, resetting the walk way and more. Everything done carefully, quickly and at a very reasonable price. No surprises. Mr. Amaya is easy to deal with and carefully supervises the work. When he saw something to do (like replacing floor molding) took initiative to do it.
