The best yard refresh and cleanup crew I’ve ever used. Jamie is very responsive and quality minded. He thinks for customers and gets the job done on time at a very competitive price. We have a large yard and a vegetable garden. His crew cleared weeds, power washed the patio, fixed the magnificent stone stairs, and add back mulch/stones/sod. He goes above and beyond our expectations. We will definitely call on them for future job. I’m a very happy customer.

Recently hired Amaya landscaping to install French drains, seed our backyard, build a walkway with low voyage lighting and plant evergreen trees. From start to finish they were excellent. They came in to the middle of a project that had already been started by another company (not easy) and accomplished everything we asked for. They went above and beyond and we couldn't have been happier with the communication and end result. Jaime was great to work with, extremely responsive, and showed up to the job site with his team everyday. The fact that he oversaw the work being done made it go so much smoother. They showed up exactly when they said they were going to and worked very late hours. They ended up finishing ahead of schedule and did everything we asked for and more. Will definitely be hiring them for all future landscape needs!

I got my deck removed from Jamie and team . Found a drainage issue when the deck was removed . It was promptly taken care of . Levelled the back of my property and added sod which looks lovely now . I recommend them for their work . Thankyou . It is really difficult to find people who understand and work to the desire of the property owner . They are the team.

We moved to Metuchen a year ago and recently got our backyard re-done by Amaya Landscaping. I researched many local companies and had many of them come in for free estimates and Jamie's quote was by far the most competitive. He was also very prompt with his communication and was flexible with working within our budget. It was a pretty extensive project and they were able to finish the work in less than a week. Jamie also added many elements that were not stated in the contract, but did so as an added touch. For example, he added a gardening bed so my toddler could help garden in the summer! He and his crew went above and beyond to make our backyard an enjoyable space for my family and I'm very happy with the end result. I would highly recommend Amaya for any landscaping needs!

Jaime and his crew did an outstanding job with our yard. Jaime arrived the day we called him to survey the work and had an estimate that evening. They showed up the next day to do the job! The crew was professional and nice and did a great job. When clearing out an overgrown garden bed, Jaime didn't just pull everything out, but identified plants worth saving, even ones we didn't know we had. That level of thought and detail continued for the whole job, and they even went above and beyond what we asked for. I would highly recommend Jaime for any job you need.

Recently, I engaged the services of Amaya to undertake a comprehensive cleanup of my one-acre property. Their performance was truly exceptional, surpassing my expectations in several notable ways. They maintained open lines of communication throughout the project, providing regular updates on their progress. Notably, they successfully removed dense poison ivy vines from two trees on the property, a task that others had deemed impossible. Their pricing was reasonable, and the quality of their work was outstanding.

Jamie and his crew are absolutely amazing! We needed a lot of tlc moving into our new home and they made it the yard of our dreams. They removed trees, excavated and leveled the yard, put down pavers and sod in the front and back - the price was the best around and the quality of work is incredible. Highly highly recommend!! Worse landscaping company I’ve ever worked with. I contracted them to do spring cleanup and mulching. The mulching was sloppy. They didn’t edge the grass properly before mulching. There were leaves and debris everywhere after the supposed cleanup. Additionally, they damaged my sidewalk and refused to take accountability. STAY AWAY!!!

Amaya Landscaping and Junk Removal did an excellent job in remediating a drainage problem in my back yard. Water would accumulate after a typical rain storm making the yard difficult to walk on. Jamie from Amaya Landscaping came to assess the job before and after a storm. The work was completed as described. He also made some recommendation that improved the finished results. His workers paid attention to details and kept the work site clean at the end of every day. Jamie came over a number of time each day to ensure the work was progressing and being performed correctly. We also wanted a patio. Jamie designed a very nice looking patio. The patio, dry yard and some landscaping ideas made a big improvement of the property. The job was completed well within the estimated timeframe, which is big plus considering the weather affected the work schedule. I would highly recommend Amaya Landscaping and Junk Removal!

Do not recommend for sod installation. Gave me mix of good grass and bad/dead grass, would not correct it. Looks terrible and I need to spend thousands more to have it redone.

Also lying about not doing this work. No integrity.

After claiming to not have done this work, the owner then deleted that comment, made a new comment that it was done in 2020 (also not true), and then threatened me with legal action if I do not remove the (accurate) review. Save yourself money and a headache by looking elsewhere.

I am so happy I called Amaya! I needed my above pool and deck removed. It was starting to look like a bad science experiment. 🤣The experience with the entire crew was very professional. The crew completed so much faster than I expected and even did some extra work I didn't know was needed. I am so appreciative of the quick turnaround and most importantly to remove the ugly eye sore in my backyard.

Our backyard was in a sorry state and on top of that had some poison ivy growing in it. Jamie and his crew worked quickly and thoroughly and have breathed new life into our yard! I’m honestly a little speechless with how improved it looks. We will definitely be using their services again.

If anyone is in need of a landscaper please look no further. After interviewing several contractors, I felt very comfortable and confident with my decision to hire Jaime for a very difficult project that entailed precision to details. Huge drainage system for a new built inground pool, coping, paver patio, leveling, grading, seeding and landscaping. Not only did Jaime exceeded all of my expectations but he went above and beyond, literally. His knowledge and expertise are impeccable. Always honest, respectful, punctual, took his time to explain everything, followed up with me on a daily basis and his entire crew was amazing from start to finish. I did not have to chase him like other contractors that were part of my pool project. He truly cares about his clients and pricing is very competitive. Jaime has gained a client for life.

Amaya landscaping removed all the fallen leaves in our yard and flower beds. They did a wonderful and thorough job. They were great to work with, returning calls, completing the job on the schedule we arranged. And their price was very fair and honest! We would not hesitate to call them for jobs in the future and neither should you. They will not disappoint!

I have used Amaya Landscaping a few times now for various projects, and they never disappoint. Most recently, I had a few large arborvitaes fall during the snowstorm. I was able to cut them up myself, but I could not remove their rather large root systems. I reached out to Jamie; he showed up the next morning to give me an estimate and had a crew there that same day to remove the stumps. You can’t ask for better service than that, and at a fair price as well! Truly the best!
