Alpine picked up my call at 7:00 am (our furnace had stopped working) and had a tech to our house by 8:45am. Tech was thorough, explained and showed me what was wrong. We were up and running by 9:30am. Pricing was extremely fair. Please with 100% of the service

To start, I usually don't leave reviews but Alpine deserves five stars so here it goes.
Had our heating unit replaced January 2023. They were prompt, professional and reasonable with price. I would definitely use them again & recommend to friends and family.

I contracted Alpine Refrigeration to install a humidifier. They were prompt, professional, knowledgeable, personable and explained everything to me. Troy installed the humidifier and did a very professional job. He located the best place to place it. I am pleased with Alpine that I took 3 service contracts with them to service my heating and air conditioning system, my new humidifier and my tankless water tank. Thanks again and I highly recommend them. I am very happy with their service and looking forward to doing my spring service. I renewed my contract, Thank you Alpine!

Excellent service! We discovered around 1030am today (Sunday) that the AC was running but not blowing cold air. I called Alpine and left a message on their voicemail. Less than an hour later they called back...15 minutes later Troy was at my house and 45 minutes later we were up and running again! And all at a very reasonable cost!

Thank you Alpine (and Troy)! We will continue to consider you as our "go to" for all of our heating and cooling needs.

I have been an Alpine customer for years. They have always been prompt, courteous, efficient and in general outstanding.
Yesterday afternoon (Sunday), I noted that I had no hot water. This morning, they arrived at 8:30, diagnosed the problem and now I have hot water again. They are true rock stars!

Alpine installed whole house humidifier on our HVAC system. The price was good and the technician was superb (Troy Blash). His work was neatly done and he was excellent in terms of answering any questions I had.

VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH ALPINE REFRIGERATION CO

On a Wednesday in August a unit at my rental property experienced a central AC failure. The unit stopped working. I called Alpine Refrigeration and was told the blower motor needed replacing. I accepted the estimate. The AC motor was replaced at a cost of over $500 and the unit started working again.

Within 48 hours, the unit froze up with ice built up on the pipe and inside the unit. SEE PHOTO BELOW. I had a different repairman come to inspect the unit.

This new repairman checked the refrigerant level and THE REFRIGERANT WAS LOW... a common cause of such freeze ups.

He said the refrigerant level was obviously NOT checked by the Alpine repairman… and further stated the blower motor was possibly not the original problem and may have been replaced unnecessarily... or that melting ice from a prior freeze may have entered the motor and damaged it. This repairman stated refrigerant levels should always be one of the first things checked on any AC service call.

I contacted Alpine by email and discussed the problem and requested a partial refund of the bill, specifically a refund of the labor portion of the bill. They did not agree to that resolution and disagreed that the refrigerant should have been checked.

Via email Alpine stated:

“…the complaint was no AC. His original diagnosis was the blower motor and run capacitor. Once replaced, the unit was operating normally. There was never a complaint of freezing or warm air, which indicate a refrigerant leak…”

I responded by email:

“The refrigerant level was NOT checked by your technician….
There is no excuse for not checking the refrigerant level.

In a follow up email the Alpine representative stated :

“A motor failure is not magic and is a very clear item; bad bearings or winding problems are self-evident. Troy confirmed that the unit was up and ruining as soon as he made the repairs and all indications were that the system was working properly. The proper lines were cold and the system was cooling.”

I responded:

“… checking the refrigerant is ‘AC Repair 101.’
Your repairman should have checked it. He failed to do so.”

THE BOTTOM LINE:
It is stunning that Alpine would NOT admit that they should have checked the refrigerant level. Once Alpine's representative suggested that checking the refrigerant was not called for in this situation...I ended the communication as further discussion would have been pointless.

I have been using Alpine for over 40 years. I have always found them to be fair, responsive and professional, both in their office personnel and their technicians.

These guys were absolutely amazing. After dealing with repeated issues with a Lennox system installed by Arctic Air, we had had enough of them. We called Alpine looking for them to validate yet another issue in our 4 year old system and they were very sympathetic to our situation. Everyone from the sales, service and installation was absolutely top notch. Being some who always prefer to do my own work and is very much in the know about how these systems work/install its hard to find quality companies that perform to my expected standards. They went above and beyond to get the work done and we could not have been happier with the outcome. Thank You Guys Again! I'll be sure to send anyone I know your way for HVAC work. I'm sorry I didnt write down names of the guys who came out but please know they all did a fantastic job!

I have been using Alpine Refrigeration for years now for our annual maintenance. Very knowledgeable and professional. 5 years ago - I had to replace our AC and Furnace and they gave the best price of multiple estimates and did not try to upset at all. Very happy at their service.

Alpine was amazing to work with. They gave us an estimate and were able to install a furnace the next day for us. They were quick and did great work. Will definitely use them again in the future!

They answered all of my questions patiently and thoroughly, without hesitation.

Alpine Refrigeration has been great to work with from the get go. They had the best out of five estimates and did not try to upsell me in anyway. They were able to secure a loan for me through NEIF which greatly helped my financial situation. They have been patient, courteous and professional from estimate all the way through installation. The installation itself was quick and painless. The technicians were wonderful, they listened to my concerns and addressed them accordingly. They cleaned up well after themselves and left finished in a prompt and efficient manner. Go to Alpine before you choose another company and you will not be disappointed.

I have been using Alpine Refrigeration for 8 years for the annual maintenance on an older heating system and the AC system. They are very knowledgeable and professional. I used Alpine to replace a broken AC compressor and coil in 2017. Best decision ever! Works great every summer. When you call the office, someone answers and can help you right away. I highly recommend.

Amazing service by Alpine!

I had an A/C system broken down right before the July 4th weekend. I contacted Alpine and Alpine sent over technician as soon as possible. The technician identified the problem, i.e. a broken compressor which needed to be replaced. Team Alpine worked together to source/secure a new compressor replacement and had it replace in a timely fashion.
