Reviews of local pros in Succasunna, New Jersey

Amazing service! Bought a new house in Randolph that I needed some work done in before moving in. Called in a panic since the original electrician I hired got injured and couldn't make it before we moved in. The Surge team was able to squeeze me in to get that work done well before moving in. Beyond friendly and easy to work with. All of their work looks fantastic. Besides changing up some things for safety reasons, we also added recessed lights in serval spots in the house. Everything works amazingly and looks perfect. Couldnt have asked for more. Will only be using Serge and his team as my electricians moving forward.

Very rarely , do I write a great review, but the job that Shawn & Danny did yesterday in the stifling heat was beyond commendable. They pushed through for over 7 hours without skipping a beat to get the job done. I was totally blown away by their work ethic. On top of that , they both were very personable! Would most definitely recommend Surge Electrical to anyone in need of electrical services

I had an outstanding experience with Sergio and his team to have an 50-amp receptacle installed for an EV outlet in our garage. Sergio was easy to communicate with and promptly available to address any questions or concerns. I highly recommend them and look forward to working with Surge on other projects in the future.

Love the guys at Surge. Very professional, very prepared. With the cost of things today, its nice to deal with a contractor that is fair and not looking to price gouge you for the work. Anthony and Shawn were great!!

Great service! Anthony & team were awesome, he was communicative and ensured things were done exactly how we wanted them throughout the whole process. Everything was completed quickly too!

EXCEPTIONAL!!! Great electrical company with very competitive prices. Work completed by Joe and Sean who worked tirelessly and efficiently. Highly recommend Surge to family and friends!
Thank You

Surge recently did the electrical work for a bathroom remodeling project at our house. They were professional, neat and efficient. Anthony was very careful to seek our input on key decisions such as lighting and outlet placement as well as making sure we were happy with all aspects of his work. Well done Anthony and the rest of the Surge team ! We will definitely use your services on future projects.

I hired Surge to replace a ceiling fan and light fixture as well as fix some outlets. They came highly recommended from another electrical company and I’m so happy I chose them. From start to finish Anthony and Esteban were great. They explained everything to me, were very neat and cleaned up everything and were very friendly. Would definitely use them again in the future!

WOW! Sergio (owner) and his crew are amazing! Shawn, Esteban, Daniel, Sebastian were on the job all day today adding new recessed lighting and replacing old recessed lighting. A few parts of the job were not straightforward, but these guys came up with approaches that worked perfectly. Professional, thorough, eager to please, easy to deal with, helpful with decisions about appropriate lighting, punctual. And very clean. Just a pleasure to work with!

From start to finish, our experience with Surge Electrical Contractors was top notch. It started with one of the most pleasant phone calls I have ever had with a contractor; Sergio was understanding, informative, and above all friendly. We scheduled an appointment for later that week and on the day of service he showed up right on time. Both he and his associate Matt were wonderful, explaining the steps they needed to take and completing the work fast and efficiently. They cleaned up after the job was completed and made sure everything was working smoothly. I don't think I've had a better experience with a contractor and know I'll be using Surge Electrical for all my future electric needs. I can't recommend them highly enough. If you need to have any electrical work done, do yourself a favor and call Sergio.

Sergio and his team were outstanding! I received confirmation the day before, they arrived a few minutes before the scheduled time, they did detective work and troubleshooting and solved all the problems in a single visit. There were problems in my house that I did not think could be solved, but they figured it all out. Their recommendations were clearly explained and made sense, and the price was far better than I expected.

They worked throughout the house and left all the work-areas clean.

This was the second time I had Sergio's team here and I am again very pleased with all aspects of the work.

I recently hired Surge Electrical Contractor, and they sent Anthony and I couldn’t be more impressed with his service! They arrived on time, were incredibly professional, and demonstrated a high level of expertise in their work.

They quickly diagnosed and resolved the electrical issue in my home, explaining the problem and solution in a way that was easy to understand. Their attention to detail and commitment to safety were evident throughout the process, and they even went the extra mile to ensure everything was working perfectly before they left.

It’s rare to find someone so reliable, honest, and efficient. I highly recommend Anthony and Surge Electrical Contractor for any electrical needs, you won’t be disappointed!

They did a great job. Anthony came in to hook up my attic fan. He encountered some challenges due to my house design, and absolutely handled it the best way possible. I'm very pleased with their work and will absolutely use them again.

Shawn and Esteban were outstanding!!!

I had 6 recessed lights and 2 ceiling fans installed. First thing they did was completely protect my floors and furniture. They answered any questions I had. They were super EFFICIENT and KNOWLEDGEABLE
They cleaned and vacuumed after the job was complete. I would highly recommend SURGE ELECTRIC for any of your electrical needs!

Sergio and the team were great! Sergio came out and quoted me on work promptly. He then was able to book quickly and him and a crew of several people came out to do the installation of a new circuit for an EV as well as several twisted pair runs for exterior cameras. They set up the DVR, and aimed all of the cameras well. They were able to get through the technical setup and performed the installation flawlessly. The crew, specifically Esteban and Anthony were friendly and great. I'd highly recommend Surge for any electrical needs.

Shawn did an amazing job replacing our heat fan. My husband had a question/concern which Shawn was able to address easily.

This is one of the best in home service electricians i have ever used. i had a remodel of a highly complex electrical system that in some places was 100 years old and difficult to trace. Two other companies tried to solve and were not able to, but Surge solved the problem in a day and provided several options to make the use and positions of internal and external lights very intuitive. This is a 5 star vendor!! Ask for Sergio, he is brilliant.

I am so glad we found this company. Great work at a reasonable price. The owner, Sergio, is the best! Then today we had Esteban come out to do some work. Fast efficient and so pleasant to work with. Can't recommend them more highly.

I’ve hired Surge Electrical three times in the last two years. They are very professional and trustworthy. They do excellent work and I will certainly reach out again if I need more work done on my house.

Incredible service! We needed a dedicated 20 amp circuit installed for a sauna, and a dedicated plug in the electrical panel for a portable generator. The highlights were as follows: When I called, the owner called me back within 10 minutes (I was already impressed given that a timely return phone call is unusual these days). He came over the next day to discuss the job and made several great recommendations and provided a cost for the work before he left (no waiting days on end for a proposal/price). We scheduled the job, and the day before the work was to begin, I received a text confirming the date and time (really? at this point I would have paid him even if he didn't do the work - another impressive nod to customer service). The day of the job, the team showed up at the scheduled time, fully prepared, kind, and professional. The work was exceptional and they were respectful of our home and really sweet to our dogs. It is so refreshing to work with a contractor who "gets it". This company is top shelf and I highly recommend them.

Ian and Esteban were fantastic. So polite, efficient and happily answered any questions I had. They were on time, and were in and out. Will certainly use them again for all my electrical needs.

9/3/24 - still reliable! Shawn came this time to change out my electrical box and had no problems! Very nice group of guys.
