In a time where good customer service is nonexistent, especially when it comes to contracting, Brute Contracting proves to go against the grain. I cannot say enough good things about our experience using Brute to install a new sewer line for our home. From consult to project completion, everything went smoothly. They were always on time, responded quickly to any questions, were beyond knowledgeable, and quick! One of the best experiences with a company I've ever had.

I called on BRUTE based on their reputation and I’m glad I did. Dan and Uri showed up quickly and did a very thorough inspection. I had an amazing experience with Dan and Steve and highly recommend them for any major plumbing project. My project involved replacing an old cast-iron sewer line from the house to the curb with PVC and lining the final section from the curb to the public main with epoxy.

From the start, Dan was professional, thorough, and knowledgeable. He visited the property, spent considerable time scouting the area, planning the work, and explaining the project in clear detail. He offered various proposals, and we discussed which one best suited my needs.

BRUTE handled my full sewer line replacement (necessary to achieve proper pitch after years of issues), which included opening the road to tie into the sewer main. Uri & Dan, the principals, were very professional and a pleasure to work with in all aspects: They provided a prompt diagnosis and detailed estimate, answered all my questions, spoke to an impacted neighbor, started the project on time, and stuck to the estimated price (they actually saved me quite a bit on third party costs). Uri ran the project like a well-oiled machine: he rolled in early with a big crew and heavy equipment, did everything according to plan, and had the road closed up and asphalted before 5. We had a water service line leaking into our basement. I reached out to BRUTE, and got a call from Dan, who explained everything to me, from who they are as a company, to the trenchless process they would be using to perform the job. He was very professional, honest, and best of all, he beat everyone's prices.
The crew came in, and once PSEG identified the gas line, the got right to work. We had our water back on in about 4 hrs. I was blown away. Only one hole was dug in our lawn, without the need of damaging our landscape.
Dan was there every step of the way, from beginning to end. Great communication. The crew threw a tarp on our basement floor, cleaned after themselves, and even vacuumed. Now I know who to recommend to my friends and neighbors, there's no question about it. THANKS BRUTE CONTRACTING!!

These contractors were great. The staff was professional and efficient. They came in to replace and repair a main sewer line that was damaged when my town was updating gas lines. Even though we received a lot of pushback indicating we'd need to make the repair and prove that someone else was responsible for the damage, this team came in and took care of everything, making my process painless.

We had such a great experience with Brute — who knew a sewer replacement could be such an enjoyable process?! Extremely disappointing experience. I’ve been trying to get unresolved issues addressed since October 2024, and to this day, nothing has been done. The compaction was never performed properly after excavation, which led to significant settling — a clear sign of poor workmanship. In addition, the tree stump that was supposed to be removed, as agreed with the Forman on site, was simply left there and has been ignored ever since.

I’ve had several discussions with Daniel, the company principal, but all I’ve received are promises that go nowhere. No follow-through, no accountability — just delays and excuses with no actions. I expected better from a professional contractor, but this has been nothing short of frustrating. I would absolutely not recommend this company to anyone.

Dan and his team were very helpful and transparent for a sewer quote on a house I was looking to buy. Although the house deal did not end up going through (multiple reasons), Dan’s approach to the situation gave me confidence that if we needed to do the sewer work, they were the right team for the job.

I've searched for a few companies for a full sewer line replacement. Some companies measured my property via google Earth and gave me an estimate on the phone.Not Brute contracting. They actually came to my house with camera to attempt to inspect and understand the issue before providing me a quote.

Everything was honest and straight forward. If I had an issue I spoke to them reasonably and they were able accommodate me. It was always respectful communication without any headaches.

The workers were professional and clearly knew what they were doing. They were able to dig out and replace my line in under a day with minimal disruption. They were incredibly organized having all the tools, machinery, gravel, dumpster, and material ready to go. I even stood and spoke with the city inspector while he was watching them put asphalt back on the street. His exact words were "I never worked with this company before, but they know exactly what they're doing".

Dan was great and I would highly recommend him to anyone! He walked me through the whole process and showed me exactly where our sewer line had cracked and was at risk of rupturing. He did not put undue pressure on us to fix more than was necessary and was very accommodating to our timeline. They got the job done quickly and with a great result. In addition to the excellent work, he is a great, friendly guy who you will enjoy chatting with.

When we found out we needed a new sewer line it was daunting. We had a couple of companies give us quotes, but we were still uneasy, until Dan at Brute. Dan was knowledgeable, attentive, kind and straight forward. His price was good and, from talking to him several times we knew Brute Construction was the right way to go. They were attentive to detail, answered our questions and when they ran into unforeseen obstacles identified the solution and proceeded without incident. We couldn’t be happier with the results. Scheduled an appointment. I called them morning of appointment to confirm. An hour later “the manager” called to say “their truck was down and they couldn’t service today”. They made no attempt to apologize. His only follow up response was an angry retort: “bring the unit to me in my driveway and I’ll service it for you”. Subpar customer and disappointing. Not reliable.

I have used Summit's Heating and Cooling twice now and both times my experience has been excellent. Their customer service is great and both Technicians who came out were professional, friendly and efficient. I will definitely be using them for any future HVAC needs.
