Their team is very professional. They perform a detailed inspection of the trees, cite and explain issues, and then the technicians do a really professional job of pruning and cutting. Finally, they do a great clean-up of the property.

I was lucky I found this company. A large tree came down in my backyard and my neighbor happened to have an arborist doing some work for him, so I asked what he would charge to remove the fallen tree. The price seemed high to me, so I did a web search and called Action, and Don came by the same day and gave me a price that was almost 1/3 the price I had been given earlier. Two days later, the tree was gone. They didn't even drive the chipper onto my lawn, because it could have caused rutting. Don gave me good information about the health and condition of the rest of my trees, without trying to upsell me. I heartily recommend Action Tree Service, and I will not use anyone else.

This is the third time using them. 100% satisfied. Removal was well thought out, taking care not to go on neighbors property. The clean up was very VERY thorough. Given that so many trees are dying I'm sure they'll be back before long.

Did a great job for us on a large removal. We needed an additional tree stump ground down on short notice, and within a few hours they had someone by to do it. Above and beyond expectations.

Action Tree's response to clean up recent storm damage to our property was excellent. They came to assess quickly and kindly got us on to their schedule in a timely fashion. Work was done in a professional manner and clean up was complete.

Action Tree did an excellent job of removing 4 trees from our property. The team in our area was led by Bert Kuhn. There was a little delay in getting the work started, but they did an excellent job for a very reasonable price (significantly less than another estimate we received). One of the limbs fell on a fence post and broke it, which they replaced the next day. They also removed trees for 3 of our neighbors.

I used Action Tree Service to have 2 trees removed and the stumps ground. They were quick to provide an estimate, showed up when they said they said they would, and did a great job. They were polite and professional. I would certainly use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

I have used Action Tree on many occasions and they always did a great job. They are very professional and knowledgeable. They listen to concerns during a tree inspection, then explain and make recommendations. Work is done in a timely manner, and the work area is always cleaned up.

We have been working with Action Tree for years, and they have done everything from routine pruning, clearing and stump grinding to dealing quickly and professionally with an enormous tree that fell through our roof during Hurricane Irene. They are easy to work with, responsive, and they always do a great job - I recommend them highly.

We have used Action several times on two family owned properties. Burt Khune is an amazing arborist as well as the second bucket man and ground crew. Don Murphy was very reliable and skilled evaluating the work to set it all up. Pruned a large Pin Oak twice in at about 5 year + intervals. Difficult location, close to our dwelling. Very careful and skilled using proper arborist standards. This time they also pruned some overgrown Japanese Yews and Arborvitae.
A few years ago on a second property removed two very large dead Chestnut Oak trees, that were very, very close to the dwelling. Due to the steep site all work was completed by climbing (no bucket access). Safely removed the oaks that had been killed by gypsy moths. They showed up at the time and date they said they would. It is surprising how many contractors in all trades and professions are not as reliable as Action. Thanks for multiple jobs well done!

Very professional and competent tree removal. They delayed removing 4 large (one was 120 feet tall) trees from my backyard for months until the ground was stable enough to stand the heavy machines. I think the price was very reasonable as well.
