Reviews of local pros in Warren, New Jersey

I had a great experience working with Parker Landscape Design. From start to finish, Scott (the owner) was incredibly proactive—always staying one step ahead, communicating clearly, and making sure every detail was handled with care. He made the entire process smooth. I was very pleased with the quality of their work and the level of service I received. Highly recommend Parker Landscape design.

Look no further for a wonderful landscaping experience! Our home needed plantings in the front of the house and plantings/grass in our backyard near our new patio. When we first met with Scott, he didn't come and try to push a predetermined design. He listened to our needs and desires for particular plants, colors and plant location. Scott designed an amazing landscape plan and implemented many of our ideas. He also addressed important points such as climate and deer (animal) determent on the plants themselves. During our design meeting, he mentioned his family history in the landscaping business. We knew then we made the right decision with Parker Landscape Design. The landscaping work was scheduled and commenced in a timely manner. Scott's employees were very professional. You could tell they took pride in what they were doing. At the end of the job, Scott reviewed plant and grass care. He was always available to answer our questions and made extra stops at our house to check on the plants/grass growth. The landscaping at our house is very beautiful and we frequently receive great comments about it.
Thank you Scott!

Throughout the entire process, Scott was very accommodating and we appreciated his insight and guidance in picking materials. Our patio came out perfect and we absolutely love the fire pit.

We couldn't be happier with our new outdoor kitchen and patio! From start to finish, this company exceeded our expectation in every way. Scott took time to understand our vision and needs. They brought it to life with creativity and attention to detail. The materials used were top quality, and the craftsmanship was outstanding. Every stone and fixture was placed with care and precision.

The crew was professional, respectful of our property, and always kept the worksite clean. They communicated clearly every step of the way. Now, our backyard has truly become an extension of our home - perfect for hosting, relaxing, and enjoying time with family and friends.

We've received so many compliments on the space already. We can't recommend this team highly enough. If you are looking to upgrade your outdoor living space, Parker Landscape Design is the team to trust!

I was having significant flooding of my driveway every time it would rain. During the winter it would practically turn into an ice skating rink, very dangerous. Parker Landscape Design installed a beautiful French-drain for me, at a very reasonable price. The change could be immediately seen, as we had several days of rain during the installation. Now I don't have to worry about the asphalt of the driveway eroding, and everything is much safer and attractive now. Many thanks to Parker Landscape Design.

Scott and his team turned our nightmare of a backyard into an oasis. We had no vision or idea and what we could do with what we thought was unusable space, and he gave us direction and a vision that quickly turned into a stunning and functional reality. He was responsive and available every step of the way, and the crew was neat and professional.

Scott, the owner, is very knowledgeable and had great ideas for how to improve the "curb appeal" of my home. He created a design incorporating new landscaping and lighting for the front of my property, complete with two new flower beds and a beautiful Japanese maple tree as a focal point. Part of this design called for removing and relocating 20 boxwoods to the rear of my property and laying sod where the boxwoods had been (which has added much needed privacy to that portion of my yard). This has completely changed the look of my home...I love it! I couldn't be happier with my end result. Scott and his crew will be planting 13 new skyrocket junipers along my driveway to create a privacy screen between our home and our neighbors and we have already begun to discuss plans/options for my backyard. I would highly recommend Parker Homescapes...they will handle everything soup to nuts!

Scott and his team are consummate professionals. We started with a blank canvas and needed more than someone to just execute against a vision. We needed help with it all. Scott helped us imagine what it could be and planned it as stages so we can grow with it. Beyond that, he’s committed to his clients and his craft, regularly checking in with us after install and addressing issues we had from rain runoffs after large storms. We are happy we went with Scott after evaluating other options.

My wife and I selected Parker Landscape Design after meeting with several companies in the Somerset County area. We tasked Scott and team with re-designing our entire front landscape and adding a lighting element that would increase curb appeal and also provide added security. Scott’s hands on approach not only assured that every goal/timeline was met but it educated and guided us to make the correct choices for the long term success of the property.

Truly a great and transparent experience from start to finish. We look forward to our next project with Parker Landscape Design.

We have been using Parker Homescape for almost a decade now. When we wanted to update our front landscaping we did not want to use our weekly landscaper, we wanted someone who would have fresh ideas and could not only design but install an imaginative and high quality landscape. Parker was thoughtful in their design, from well laid out and matching shrubs to landscaping light to perfectly highlight the shrubs that were installed. One of the things that we like most about Parker is their attention detail. For example Scott himself stopping by after dark to make sure each light was perfectly placed.

Most recently we undertook a complicated dry well project. Scott and his team were there with us every step of the way. From working with the town to make sure things were done to code, to designing and executing a project plan that caused minimal disruption to our property while still meeting the goals of the drywell. While Scott and his team were onsite we also took the opportunity to update our front and rear walkways. Scott worked with us as we wanted a design that would would work with our existing paver driveway. Scott took the time to design a walkway that was up to date with current styles that looked great with our existing driveway.

We truly believe Parker Homescape is professional, creative and provides quality work. We always refer them to family and friends!

We’ve worked with Scott’s landscaping service on two major projects over the past three years: landscape lighting and a pool renovation.

Scott is highly experienced, attentive, and detail-oriented. For the pool deck project, he visited our property multiple times and presented a beautiful, thoughtful design. His crew is professional, hardworking, and even flexible enough to work weekends to make up for rainy spring delays. The final result was stunning—we’ve received countless compliments from our guests.

Another great advantage of working with Scott is his well-established network of contractors with specialized expertise, such as pool plastering, which made the entire process seamless.

Scott sets a high standard for himself and his company. We couldn’t be happier with the results and highly recommend him and his team.

Professionalism, precision and perfection. These are three words that describe Scott Parker. He and his team did a outstanding job on a large job at my house here in Flemington.

The scope of the services which we hired Scott to perform were: walkway installation both paver and rivers stones with edge restraints, Installation of stealth drains, sod, ornamentals removal, grass seeding and masonry Replastering.

The entire process from start to finish was the most enjoyable and simple process I have ever experience working with a design company. When we first met we filled out a detailed survey of the scope of services that we were looking for and Scott was able to take that and present to us at our first meeting here at the house a robust list in order from prioritization of what was needed. One of the best things about Scott is he will never try to upsell you on services that you don’t need and/or would not add value to your home.

Scott has not only over 25 years of design experience, he uses the latest technology in terms of materials to ensure that all of his customers investments retain their value over many years. He is one of the few true procurement and installation experts as it relates to working with Techo Bloc. That is the material that we went with because it is the highest offering and it is best suited for long-term retention of aesthetic given the varying weather here in New Jersey.

Leading up to the first day of our job Scott kept me up-to-date on how everything would work and on the first day he and his foreman and team of five skilled experts, showed up and went to work right away. Scott and his foreman was on site every day to answer any questions oversee the process and make sure that they were meeting my requirements.

His entire team was extremely knowledgeable and all members that worked here had a strong understanding of the scope of services and everybody worked extremely cohesively and as a result they were able to finish in four business days which is truly amazing.

I am so happy that we decided to go with Scott Parker and I would 100% recommend him for all your hard scape landscape and architectural design needs for your outdoor living space.

Thank you!

My wife and I used Scott Parker’s services for a backyard hedge project. We had been having incredible difficulty with maintaining the health of various spruce trees. After numerous attempts and a lot of lost $, we contacted Scott who was able to trouble shoot the issue and put in place a plan. Scott really delivered and the backyard looks great! We couldn't be happier. It was a pleasure working with Scott and his team and I would use his company again for any future landscaping or hardscaping needs that we may have.

When our neighbors installed a white pvc fence, we sought out a landscape designer who could help decorate our yard and bring some much needed life and visual interest to our yard. We wanted large plants to soften the wall-like fence while also providing some much-needed privacy. Scott Parker and his team were the perfect match for the job and we are beyond thrilled with how our project turned out!

Scott designed a beautiful landscape area with 4 blue point junipers, a southern magnolia, a Japanese cherry blossom, and multiple hydrangea and spirea. The junipers, the southern magnolia, and the cherry blossom that Scott picked out were all mature trees that extended far above the height of the fence when planted. He also designed a pad of river stone for our garbage and recycling bins.

Scott's team of professionals brought the idea to life and created a masterpiece that we enjoy looking at every day. Scott Parker and his crew are absolute professionals who go the extra mile for their customers. Our communication with Parker Landscape was always easy and efficient, and Scott was very thorough in making sure we understood how to properly care for our new trees and shrubs. We recommend Parker Landscape design without hesitation and plan to call them for additional projects in the future!

We had a new patio, fire pit, landscaping and lighting installed in Oct 2025 by Scott and his team. Scott was very patient and knowledgeable throughout the whole design and construction process. He steered us away from costly and unnecessary drainage. He worked with some of the existing trees/shrubs we had to save on costs. His construction team including Jay and Guad were timely, friendly and clean. The 3 week project was completed on time. We are very pleased with the finished product and would highly recommend Scott for your landscaping/patio design needs!

We love our new outdoor space! We bought a home in the area recently which had a very old, tired outdoor space. From start to finish, Scott Parker was exceptional. We ultimately decided on a stone patio area with a fire pit and seating wall, along with complimentary pathways, lighting, and landscaping. Scott was easy to work with, always responsive, and his team did a fantastic job. We are so pleased and can't wait to explore options for the front of our home next year.

Got to work with Scott from Parker Landscape Design this past summer to design our dream patio. Our original patio had been done with cheap materials and was literally crumbling under our feet. Over the course of several in person meetings, in which Scott graciously came to our house after business hours, he helped to develop a new patio plan and advised us on materials. It was just finished this past week, and WOW, it's everything we dreamed of. Scott was so wonderful to work with. He has an incredibly artistic eye, a love of details, and an obsession with doing top quality work. His whole team was professional and responsive. Truly an 11/10 experience. We're hoping to have him come back next year to do some of the landscaping work as well. Highly recommend!

Parker Landscape Design just completed our redesign of our flower beds with low voltage lighting. Our existing beds lacked a cohesive look and we needed guidance from a designer like Scott Parker. His expertise and knowledge of landscape horticulture was exactly what we needed. He listened to what we wanted, our likes dislikes and advised us with choices. Scott walked us through every step of the process and was meticulous to detail. His recommended lighting is of high quality as well. We're happy with the end result and look forward to the new plantings to bloom, mature and grow through the seasons! Scott was very responsive in our correspondences and professional. We highly recommend Parker Landscape Design.

We had such an incredible experience with Parker Landscape Design! We’ve been at our home for several years now and, while we’ve done some low-level landscaping, we weren’t sure if we wanted to invest the time or money for a full refresh of our front and rear property since we are planning to move within a couple of years.

We shared our thoughts with Scott, and he worked closely with us to ensure every detail of the design was handled perfectly to make our home ready for resale. Scott was with us every step of the way, making sure everything was designed according to the plan. He arrived on time to every meeting and oversaw all of the work. Scott also took the time to show us pictures of everything that would be going into our property so we really understood the vision.

That said, on the day of installation, I had no idea just how beautiful it would all turn out when it was all put together. I genuinely believe that our house went from being just a house to being a home after working with Scott. It’s gorgeous and I love my home now!

We can’t thank you enough for everything, Scott!

My wife and I used Scott Parker’s services for a few items including new pavers, built in firepit, and refresh of a gazebo, and a bench to go along with the fire pit, and also put in a dry well to improve irrigation and drainage for our backyard. We haven’t had good luck with any contactors and haven’t used a single one twice since owning my home, but Scott Parker completed the project on time and on budget and as you can see by the pictures it was done exceptionally well. I am happy with the result, and we would use them again for future projects.

Scott and his team completely transformed the landscaping on our new property in Warren and we are thrilled with how it’s turned out.

Scott visited the property last fall to assess everything and listened to our desires for our vision. He created a beautiful plan for the entire area with plantings of different color and texture that will continue to produce beautiful blooms throughout the spring, summer, and fall. He also added low voltage lighting to highlight the beauty of the landscaping at night. It’s absolutely stunning.

Everything about the process was highly professional and communication about each step of the way put us at ease and we knew exactly what to expect. Scott’s crew members were professional, extremely hard working and so meticulous with their planting and implementation of each step of the design.

We highly recommend Scott and his team at Parker Landscape Design.
