Was looking to redo my kitchen’s electrical and I had heard about the outstanding service from the contractor I hired so I had to check out Luminous. The price was less than what I expected and the work was done so professionally and meticulously that I was overwhelmed by how amazing my kitchen came out. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for affordable and extremely professional work. If I could rate them more than 5-Star, I would. Outstanding job!

I really truly enjoyed working with these guys. Nick and his team switched out my electrical panel 200 amp. In and out quickly cleaned up their mess. They were professional great customer service & great value for the services they offer. I will use them again in the future.

Luminous Electric did a great job with our electric service upgrade and breaker panel replacement. Very neat work, courteous, prompt and competitive pricing. Nick and his crew at Luminous Lint have all of the qualities one looks for in an electrician professional in terms of good communication skills and workmanship. In their most recent job for me in a century old multi-unit building in Bergen County, he rewired the entire apartment up to code, installed multiple lighting fixtures and a ceiling fan and two GFI breakers. His estimates are complete and reasonably priced, the crew is professional and courteous and the work was completed to my complete satisfaction. Ditto on another occasion when he needed to troubleshoot and address numerous hard-wired fire detectors in the common areas which included multiple visits due to unanticipated challenges. It's great working with Nick and his crew, hard-working, responsible electricians!

Nick has worked on few of our homes and has done a great job on all. We have recomended him to many people since then and everyone was impressed by his work ethic and the quality of his work. He is efficient and can be trusted fully. We need more guys like him that’s for sure!

I was extremely pleased with the service that I received from this company. Nick is extremely professional, prompt and very knowledgeable of his work. My kitchen doesn't get enough of natural light and he made magnificent improvements to the area. I highly recommend him.

Nick and his crew just completed a job involving the installation of 6 light fixtures and rewiring of a room that was not up to code in a rental property I own in Englewood Cliffs. Of all the electricians I’ve worked with in the past, Nick tops the list. He communicated everything the job required clearly, gave a fair price, and put safety first. FIVE STARS.

We used this company after purchasing our home. We needed to update/upgrade our electrical panel and wiring. All seemed great at the beginning but then we started having issues when we plugged in an air conditioner and have a light on at the same time. It would trip the breaker. We would reset it and all was good until we ran the air conditioning and turned on a light. Nick came out twice for two other different issues but never resolved the issue upstairs. When we called to have him come back since the living room breakers started to trip as well as the upstairs was still tripping the circuit breaker associated with this part of our house. Downstairs, we could not plug in a light nor a portable heater together. We started having issues within a year of installation. He refused to come back out because we were "too far" from his base. Over $11880.00 CASH paid.......Would never recommend him nor call him again for repairs, much less offer him tax free cash.

I have used Nick at Luminous a few times now. He is VERY responsive, professional and pricing is very fair. He does an excellent job and follows up to make sure everything is running smoothly. I would definitely recommend using Luminous for ANY electrical need. I am VERY happy with his service & professionalism.

Nick was awesome form the start, we had a tricky situation, which was to run high amperage power from our main panel in the garage to our pool equipment pad about 300 feet away. We had existing cable run, and hoped to not have to re-run cable.

Nick came out the day I called (a Sunday) about 20 minutes after we spoke. He looked at the job and did the math to determine if we could reuse existing cable for the underground portion. All was determined to be fine. Nick scheduled with us for the following week. Two days prior to the installation the weather forecast was for rain on the day of the installation, Nick called to let me know he would need to reschedule (perfectly reasonable given the very high power and water not being a good combination). We agreed on the new schedule and Nick arrived on time. He did the work we planned on, and helped me with a few other much more minor things for a perfect job.

I'm the type of client who knows enough to be dangerous (or annoying), and Nick was patient with my questions and curiosity and was willing to be as technical in his explanaitions as I wanted to go. That is important to me in the long-term relationship. Our house is roughly 3500 sq ft with 400-amp service, we value a good relationship with an electrician and we were glad to have such a positive experience with Nick.

I cannot express enough, how much we enjoyed working with Nick and Luminous Electric! As new and first time home owners, of an older home we were quite concerned when it came to building our catalog of trusted home professionals.

We worked with an HVAC company who recommended Nick, and we were so glad they did. Nick and his team truly care about each customer and the work they do. Purchasing a multi-family home built in the 1800's the house definitely needed some upgrades. Nick was able to walk us through all that needed to be done to update the electrical panels, address any circuit issues we/our tenants experienced and was always prompt to reply. He also provided quotes and explanations prior to doing any work on our property. We really appreciated how he helped us understand what was going on, and our options.

What really set Nick apart though, is his customer service. Upgrading the panels and moving the meters on an older home unexpectedly turned into a HUGE headache with the city. Nick took ownership of requesting all of the permits and even came to our property to be present for the multiple inspections that were required and meetings with PSEG on the safest location to move the meters.

It literally took months to get the city to sign-off of on the updates we needed and Nick was nothing but patient with our project. In fact, he kept apologizing to us - even though the situation had nothing to do with his work.

We also greatly appreciated how Nick truly does run his business by the book. Legally, you should not pay for work until the city signs off on it - given that our situation took months and we did several other jobs we could not believe how understanding Nick was compared to other technicians we've worked with. Once the city signed-off (nearly 4 months later!), he sent a detailed invoice, even offering to deduct a $100 fee the city charged us. Hands down the best service we've received (which is saying a lot given how many repairs we've done).

We're so happy we found Luminous Electric and will definitely be using them for any electrical needs in the future! Highly recommend!

I’ve used Nick on a couple of jobs on my house. He is very honest and does very good work. He Installed ceiling fans for me in no time. I love working with him. I usually don’t refer contractors but I did refer Nick to my friend and they loved him as well.

I had an attic power fan wired to an electrical box. Nick and his crew arrived on time and completed the work properly. It was a small job but they were still attentive that I was satisfied with the job. Nick did a fabulous job with the lighting in our condo. He was very efficient, professional, cleaned up after himself and considered all the best possible ways to get the job done.
