Electrical reviews in Wayne, New Jersey

We needed a job done quickly and called Luminous Electric and we’re so glad we did. Nick came out right away for a quote and performed the job quickly and efficiently. So happy we found someone reliable and local will definitely use him for all our electric needs, give them a call if you need a good electrician you can trust.

Nick gave me a clear breakdown of the cost for the work. He started the work as scheduled. He recommended products that work well. The job was done on time and at the cost that was quoted. He even followed up on the work done to make sure all is good. This is the first time I have heard back from a contractor to make sure all is good. I would recommend Nick to anyone for electrical work. If I have another electrical work to be done in the house, I will call Nick for sure.

Since buying our house in Wayne in 2016, we’ve worked with Luminous Electric on several projects. Needing a lot of work done, we were uncertain on who to go with but after reading tons of positive reviews we decided on Luminous. We’re glad we did because Nick and his team have been nothing but professional, easy to work with, upfront and reasonable on costs. Some of the projects Luminous has done over the last two years include: new main circuit panel, upgrade smoke/carbon integrated alarm system, relocate/put in new outlets, mounted TV with behind the wall wiring, install multiple fans, replace several lighting fixtures, replace attic fan, install several outdoor flood lights and setup multiple Nest cameras. We plan on using them again this summer for a few more projects and definitely would recommend to anyone in the area.

My wife and I have used Luminous Electric and their manager Nick on multiple occasions for electrical repair work. On each occasion the work was prompt and ecomonical and well done. Dave Bursik, Wayne, New Jersey

Excellent work. ! Nick and his crew showed up on time with smiles and a truck prepared for everything. . I hired Luminous Electric to add a new grounded outlet for my wall air conditioner. His men had to search the wall to make it happen, but did a neat job and cleaned up after the work was finished. His crew also replaced a broken wire in my garage and when they discovered that the electricity was intermittent, they tracked the problem and rewired the line with new outlets and switches. This was more than I had expected, but Nick texted me with a price quote before they performed the extra work. I found his prices reasonable and the quality of work excellent. I had to leave for awhile but the men continued to work unsupervised. They completed the work and I am very pleased with everything. Nick was very pleasant to work with and I am sure that I will hire him again.

Nick the owner f Luminous did an amazing job at installing our Tesla charger in our condo. Since we live in a condo building we needed an additional box to install. He was able to reach out to the supplier and get all the necessary components. He was very professional and efficient. Even after the latest storm, when the charger powered off he came over and reached out to the supplier of the box to help reset it. Again super professional. I would highly recommend him.

Nick and his crew removed all knob and tubing and rewired my entire two family home as well as added additional lights, light switches, outlets and installed smoke alarms throughout the house to bring it up to code.
I found Luminous Electric online after searching for electricians who specialized in removing knob and tubing. The owner Nick came to my home and explained everything that needed to be done thoroughly, he was very informative. Besides the knob and tubing my other huge concerned was how many holes and how big the holes were going to be, Nick and his crew kept the holes to a minimum. Nick and his crew were always punctual, respectful and they made sure they cleaned up before they left. Nick met the timeline he gave me and made this entire project less stressful. I highly recommend Luminous Electric, Nick and his crew will get the job done in a timely matter. I will definitely use them again for future projects!

We did a full renovation of our home and Nick and his crew put in new lighting, new outlets, CAT6 Ethernet, an electric car charging plug and a whole house generator. Things didn't always go as planned (the generator was defective), but he took responsibility when I felt it was his and we got everything done. I have great respect for Nick - he is very smart about planning the job, doesn't nickel and dime you, and is honest. the quality of the work is excellent; I heard him multiple times telling his crew to, "do it right" as he trained them, and he always double checked their work when he didn't directly see his crew do the work. I would, for sure, use him again.

I am an interior designer and have engaged the services of Luminous Electric LLC multiple times for my client projects. Nick is a true professional. He is always responsive, timely and truly skilled at his craft. The work is always completed efficiently, accurately and looks terrific. Nick, Brandon and the Luminous Electric LLC team deliver excellent service time and time again. Highly recommend.

We're in the process of moving and needed to have work done quickly, and after reading tons of reviews, called Luminous Electric, and couldn't have been happier. Nick was wonderful--came almost immediately, explained everything that needed to be done, and scheduled the job right away. They did great work, and took the time to help with a couple silly side jobs that had been bugging us while they were there. They were also extremely kind to my two young children who were interested in what they were up to, which makes everything just feel better when you are getting any job done.

I used Luminous a couple of months ago to wire a whole house and upgrade a panel. Nick of Luminous was the ideal contractor. From the moment I solicited a bid, Nick responded to my inquiry quickly and professionally. He took time to understand the needs of my project and offered suggestions to make the layout and the whole process one smooth project. Nick is always responsive and goes out of his way to make his customers happy. Nick is a professional and is very knowledgeable of his trade. Nick worked late hours and was flexible with scheduling that catered to my needs. You don't typically find this service with busy contractors. Nick's pricing is also very competitive to the point that he has become my go-to electrician. I have already hired Nick to do all the electrical on a new project that I have begun - a 5 BR 3,600 sq ft build from the ground up. This is the third job he is doing for me in the last 3 months. He passes town inspection on the first inspection. You never have to worry about having to correct anything. I highly recommend Nick and his team for any project as he will be sure to do the job quick, correct, and at a great price.

Great experience from beginning to end. Working with Nick was great - scheduling was easy, he communicated with me during the job, and the work was done quickly and professionally. I had an outdoor lamp post and a porch light installed - both look beautiful. I would highly recommend them, and plan on using them again for future projects at our home.

I contracted Luminous Electric for a panel service upgrade, they were very easy to work with, provided quick quote, arrived on schedule, left the job site clean, and performed a high quality of work. Nick is great to work with, would recommend.

Luminous Electric did a great job installing recessed lighting in my home. Nick is very professional, reliable and knows his stuff. He was very informative about what could and couldn't be done and came up with a few options for me, which I really appreciated. The job was done impeccably, on time and was reasonably priced.
I will definitely use Luminous Electric again when I need electric work done and highly recommend Nick.

Nick and his team did some major electrical work for us in earlier this year. They did a great job assessing the issue and fixing it. His team was very polite and always on time. The prices Nick quoted were very reasonable and he was well within budget. Overall Nick did a fantastic job at our house and we will definitely have Nick work on any future projects we have. We definitely recommend his company to anyone looking for a reliable trustworthy electrician.

We hired Luminous Electric to redo all of the electric in our house - dozens of recessed lights, dimmer switches, multiple ceiling fans, smart thermostat, new indoor and outdoor outlets, ethernet runs, dedicated lines for appliances, and more. It was a large job and turned out perfectly - we’re extremely happy with the results.

Prior to work starting, Nick provided an itemized list of everything and answered all questions we had along with providing some good advice and recommendations. On installation day they arrived on time, completed the work efficiently, and did a great job cleaning up when finished. Everything went perfectly and even the inspector complimented the work and said it was among the best he's seen.

Nick and his team are complete professionals in every aspect, you can count on them to do a great job. We’ll be using Luminous again for any future electrical work and highly recommend them.

Hired Nick and his team several times over the past 5 years. Never been disappointed. He is meticulous, very knowledgable and courteous. Highly recommend this unit for any job, big or small.

Luminous Electric did an excellent job in replacing our outdated smoke detectors. They showed up when they said they would and worked efficiently. They were courteous and professional and left the work areas clean. We would definitely use them again.

Best electrician we've ever hired. Called Luminous yesterday for a small job and Brandon did the work first thing this morning. Very good communication, efficient, punctual, organized. Job well-done with zero mess at a fair price. Highly recommend.

Luminous did a fantastic job when I needed to upgrade my main panel. Nick is knowledgeable, explained me everything well and completed the upgrade on time. Excellent service, I’ll use them again for my home electrical needs.
