Shoreline East and Tom Sr and Tom Jr. are the best. We decided to completely redo our house instead of trying to move. Best decision we ever made was to use Shoreline East. We told them our goal was to have it complete in 6 months so we could be back in for Christmas. This wasn't just a renovation it was a complete gut down to the studs in every area of the house and then some. When we had to make decisions Tom Sr. always had great ideas on how to make things better with keeping pricing in mind. Our design turned out better than was even planned. Their employees and subcontractors were the best and everyone worked toward our goal and I will tell you, we were back in before Christmas. We literally moved out on June 15th and were back in on December 15th. Not only that but to this day when I call Tom Sr. he picks up the phone immediately and helps with whatever crazy situation I have going on. I couldn't be more pleased to have worked with them and we absolutely love our newly renovated house. They are my contractor for life and I would recommend them to anyone and have done so already!

When we were debating taking a wall down between the kitchen and dining room in our 1930s home, I had multiple contractors come in to assess. What I needed was an expert to provide an evaluation of the project and tell me what was feasible and what was not.

All of the contractors “yes”-ed me - saying sure they could do whatever I wanted… but couldn’t actually answer my questions or provide specific input and advice.

The minute Tom Sr walked in, he thoughtfully evaluated the space and provided detailed feedback about how to best optimize the space while still remaining true to the house.

My wife and I are particular and detail oriented and they worked with us to make everything exactly to our liking. Where we did not know an answer they gave great guidance and we ended with a spectacular result. They were able to stick to budget even as our designs shifted and changed. We worked with Shoreline on an extensive second floor construction project beginning in June of 2022. We were incredibly hopeful and initially really happy with the communication and professionalism of Tom Sr. And Tom Jr. Before we began our work together we asked for 2 things, complete your work and communicate with us effectively. Unfortunately, both of those things were not fulfilled. We reached out to Tom and Tom Jr numerous times just to have finish work completed (spackle, sanding, tile and grout work, trim work etc.) After chasing them for weeks we decided to cut our losses and hired another contractor to complete the work they did not complete. The reason I’m writing this review now is to follow-up on the work they did just 2.5 years ago and warn anyone considering them, as their ineptitude is now effecting the health of my children… Since they left, a 5 panel Anderson door has been assessed by multiple Anderson professionals, including Huston Lumber who Shoreline sourced the door from… their assessment confirmed it was not installed properly, the sill is a pool house sill and not properly waterproofed behind it, the beam above the door is not sufficient to hold the weight and is in tern sagging onto the door so the beautiful door no longer opens…. Furthermore, and the most disappointing and scary is that the bathroom they installed upstairs began leaking into the living room ceiling a few weeks ago. After calling in a plumber for diagnostic he confirmed the installation was the issue and upon cutting the ceiling open to assess there was black mold and a live wire that was not capped off properly just sitting inside the installation which we were advised was an absolute fire hazard especially considering the water leak. It has been a nightmare remediating black mold and wondering what else was installed hazardously. We have 2 children living in this home, shame on Shoreline East for saying how committed they are to “integrity and [they] live in the community so they make sure to do great work.” Our experience has been beyond disappointing, filled with problems and paying out of pocket just to get their work somewhere close to livable… the list goes on but these 2 examples hopefully provide enough info to anyone looking for a contractor.

I couldn’t ask for a better contractor than Shoreline East Construction. At 3am on a Thursday morning after heavy rainstorm two weeks ago ceiling collapsed. I had heard great things of Shoreline and hoped they’d be able to help. Tom and his crew came over that morning to inspect what happened. He explained everything that would need to be done and kept me informed every step of the way. It was all fixed before the end of the day and finishing touches by Friday morning. I’m so thankful I decided to use Shoreline East Construction and will definitely be using them for any future projects. I’m attaching pic of the ceiling at 3am, midway progress work and a pic of right before the final touches of paint were done. I know anyone who will use them will be in as good hands as I was.

They demo-ed my bathroom and remodeled it. Mike and Marcela are a dream to work with.

It was a pleasure doing business with A Condo LLC, a lovely husband/wife team. We're so pleased with the way our kitchen tiles turned out that we hope they are available for future projects. We talked to several contractors before them who wanted to take shortcuts but A Condo LLC recommended doing things "the right way" and moving all appliances to change the floor from wall to wall. From start to finish, they were exceptionally responsive answering all of our questions, reliable, and punctual.

Miguel helped me on repairing the joist. He is nice, responsive and very detailed on his work. I will reach out to him in the future for any other projects.

Mike is such a perfectionist, very reliable, professional and friendly. He has done a major basement renovation including bathroom, repaired dining room ceiling and installed crown molding, repaired floor in attic closet, and many minor repairs. We also referred him to our son . His work there on deck and basement was wonderful. Can’t go wrong hiring Mike. He and his wife are wonderful to work with.

Can’t believe it’s been about 2 years since they did the work for us. I left them a detailed review on Angie’s List at the time but only just now realized I never submitted my Google review. Better late than never haha. Working with Mike and his wife Marcy was one of the best contractor experiences I’ve had. They are very lovely people and great at what they do. We had recess lights installed at the time and had to deal with three fairly large cut-out holes in our living room ceiling and wall, which were plaster. Not only did Mike and Marcy get back to us right away but they were the only ones who didn’t scoff at the job being “too small” or tell us we’d have to wait months for the job to be done. Mike came out and performed the work himself within less than a week. He did an amazing job and to this day you cannot tell those holes were ever there. Pricing was certainly fair. Mike was great to talk with and taught me quite a bit while he was doing the work. I haven’t had need as of yet to call them for further jobs but I am sure I will at some point and I definitely will be calling them as soon as I need something.

Best contractor we have worked with! The lovely husband and wife team have done minor and major work for us from our old house to our new house. We had two of our bathrooms completely renovated and they brought my dream bathroom to life. They are professional and pays attention to details and are very knowledgeable and gave us valuable advice. We also like all the other contractors- plumber, electrician they brought in to work in the project. Their pricing is fair and reasonable and they work fast and doesn’t drag the project. Their communication is also top notch. We highly recommend them!

Mike and Marcela are very nice and business like. They know their business and was very professional. Jorge who came for 2 days did the work, was on time and he did a fantastic job. I am very pleased and happy. Mike and Marcela came the next day and cleaned up the room.
