Great work integrity with paving crew.

They worked on a project at the VA hospital and did poor work, never came back to fix anything! Wish there was an option for a negative rating!

Don’t use their service but their employee who drive the yellow truck clearing says “Star Paving” need to learn how to drive. They don’t know how to use signals and even road rage with the company vehicle. I guess the company allows this to happen. Very bad and unprofessional 👎🏼👎🏼

From what I heard and seen these people do an amazing job with anything they do but I Tried calling them just to let them know that one of their drivers did not secure a ladder on his truck and I nearly had a final destination moment that was this past Wednesday I just kept getting a voicemail and then the message that mailbox was full.

Star paving was hired by the county to redo our road. Star paving ran over our new mail box and promised to fix it. 5 months later nothing..... I hate being constantly lied to by this company promising me every week it will be done next week..

I just want to thank the gentlemen and Joseph Madrid that helped me when I ran out of gas this morning. I appreciate you helping me get on my way and out of the way of traffic and where you were working quickly. You were very professional and kind.

they dont honor work when your small co or homeowner. i guess 0 stars is not an option.... i paid for 3" of asphalt, ask for weed guard to be put down, and for the job to be done correct when the time/weather was right......i now have 2-3" of asphalt depending where you measure, weeds coming up all over the place and patch repair (i measured thickness at that time). the repair took 3 months of calling to get them out and they only did the bare min. i now have sinking spots (4+) where they did not compact the sub surface. when i call them to come fix the spots that are sinking the response was "we already did one repair thats all you get." going to court would have cost more than paying someone else to rip it up and do it correct. i check you can't get court cost back and i did not want them to have to fix it with another bad job

We live in an apartment complex as well and star paving ripped out my front and back walkways and porches at the same time making leaving the home nearly impossible and let me mention we are disabled apt units, needing canes Walker and wheelchairs, they never asked anyone to move their parked cars instead decided to do demo between the cars with heavy machinery, I actually have pictures of the workers doing this!!!! They have no regards for people or their property and after removing a 3 inch curb they installed a 15inch curb without any safety rails which I also have pictures of. Their forms were improperly installed and then the curbs and walkways crumbled as a result of their "work". Had to be patched 2 more times after. they sprayed my backdoor completely with cement and missed a 3 inch gap between the door and porch, and they were supposed to be using a truck mixer but instead used quick Crete for my back porch and walkway which also had to be patched. After my gates were locked for the night they send workers back for forms, then they hopped my locked fence instead of knocking on the door. Rude vulgar workers!!!

I live at an apartment complex in Albuquerque, NM. I left on Thursday, September 1 and noticed my car was covered in cement from the side windows and windshield to the hood, fenders, and bumper. After dealing with the apartment management, I met with Ambrose, a meeting that was set up by the apartment manager. Ambrose is the foreman of the group who did the cement and roof work from Star Paving Company. He tried removed the cement with WD-40 with my permission. It did not work. He then tried to tell me that the damage did not look like cement, but plaster. He tried to question where I worked or had been. I had not moved my vehicle from August 23 until that day on September 1. He then stated that he would need to speak to his team and he'd come by the next morning to meet with me again. I let him know I'd be home and to contact me when he arrived. Instead, he called me after 10:30am when he left from examining my car without my knowledge or presence. He told me he was leaving to get cement dissolver to put on my car, I said no. He told me then that his "hands were tied" and he was "trying to work with me." I let him know that I tried to cooperate with his experiments the day before and I would not allow any more harmful chemicals to be placed on my vehicle to further damage it. He told me to send him an email stating I denied his request to put cement dissolver on my car. I sent it immediately to both Ambrose at Star Paving and my apartment manger. Since then I cannot get a call or email back from Star Paving Company despite REPEATED attempted to reach them. Don't trust this company with any work. Read their reviews on Google Reviews and everywhere else online. It's nothing but negative comments about how they don't stand behind their work, they don't care about the damage they cause, and they are extremely rude.

HOA members were very pleased with road maintenance performed by Star Paving. Crews were congenial and the patching crack sealing and seal coat very carefully executed.

Star Paving did an outstanding job fixing our driveway. They're an honorable upstanding company. There was a small mixup during the quoting process however they honored the price they gave us and still did exemplary work. The road they fixed for us has survived several harsh winters with several feet of snow, heavy equipment, large 4WD trucks, and the thousand year flood that hit the northern part of the state a few years back. The mountain road we live on is often decimated by bad weather but the road Star Paving built for us is always pristine regardless of the elements.

I would like to recommend Star Paving for any paving job for your driveway. Star Paving just paved my driveway in the Los Padillas area. The Star Paving crew was so nice and informative in regards to my paving project. However the best part of this project was the excellent job Star Paving on my driveway. I would like to personally thank Chris Cruz and Joe Cruz from Star Paving for the personal attentive service given to me in regard to my paving project at my house. Highly recommended for any future paving jobs!

Almost just got t-boned by star paving truck on Gibson and Blake The guy didn't have the right away caused oncoming traffic to stop when you driving a huge Dodge truck like that that can cause some serious damage I think everyone's hoping the driver knows how to drive

Star Paving is an extremely efficient and professional company. From the time that they came to evaluate our project to the time of completion they were meticulous and reliable. We at Sandia Plaza Condos are very pleased with the Valley Gutter, the Sidewalks and Pool Deck. We definitely will be calling them again. I highly recommend this company.

The crew at Star Paving did an amazing job for our HOA, completing a repair and preventative maintenance project. Professional service from start to finish.

While it took several months to get on their schedule, it was worth the wait. On Day 1, the crew came to my home and completed all the prep work to replace my gravel 2-car size driveway. On Day 2, the crew arrived bright 'n early to pour the cement (in a color I chose), smooth it out, and give it a final brush stroke to improve traction. The crew was efficient, courteous, and professional. I could not have asked for better service or end product. I highly recommend Star Paving!

This company is going downhill, they installed a private road for me about 10 years ago. The road needed to be redone so they came out looked at it measured and never got back to me after several calls to the office. Weeks later, after I called their office several times, the response I got was they don’t have the crew for it. a little private road they don’t have a crew for it. I also know of another incident where they damaged a wall and wouldn’t take responsibility for it until it looked like they were going to get sued. Don’t use this company reach out to anybody but them.

Star Paving, you made an assumption when I told you I had an issue with the previous company that did the road. I was not asking for a bid as leverage. The road needed to be fixed. Had you given me a bid. You would’ve received the work and I would have dealt with the previous contractor however I wanted to whether that be sue them or not. You were clearly disinterested the minute you shook my hand. I was short with your receptionist because I had to call you and call you to even get an answer from you that you would not take the job. I wish you luck taking over your father’s company. You might want to learn how to treat the customer and respond to them even if you want to reject the job and not ignore their calls.

We replaced our star paving driveway after 7 years of begging them to make their poor workmanship right. They admitted that there was not enough bitumen (the black stuff) the hold the asphalt together. The top surface would crumble if you turned you car wheels when not moving. They spayed a sealer that lasted 1 year. The original owners son would not make their poor quality right. STAY AWAY from Star paving or you will get 1 star work. Their name says it all

Star Paving was amazing! We had a one car drive way that was very long. We wanted a three car drive way with the same length it was originally, and also add concrete to the siding of our house that reaches our backyard patio. We reached out to Star Paving, they sent someone over to give us an estimate and now we have the yard we’ve always wanted since moving into our home! They were very professional and the work they did looks amazing!!!!

This company has horrible workers and lazy work! a man who drives a tannish yellow truck which I forgot the name of is awfully unprofessional and cusses at his customers. This man does his work very poorly and has no manners! if you want your work done professionally with good workers then I’d suggest you save yourself money and go to a different company. The thought of booking with this company will never cross my mind again!
