My lawn light pole rusted out and fell over. I bought a new pole and called Elks Electric to install it. Jeff did minor repairs on a few electrical outlets, then informed me it was "too hot" and he was "too old" to do the work to install the pole, the major reason I had called him! He also "talked down" to me and wasted a good bit of time talking about electrical things I really didn't need to know, then charged me for this added time! I called another electrician who promptly and professionally installed my light pole for much less than I paid Jeff. As a senior citizen on a fixed income, I do not appreciate the behavior or the overcharge by Elks Electric!

I chose Elks because of the consistent A+ Angie's List reviews and because personal friends who had used him recommended Jeff, and I was not disappointed. He arrived on time, was very professional while in my home, and his performance and problem-resolution gave me complete confidence in his knowledge and skill. I highly recommend him.

Recently I had a power outage of the security lights around my office. It was 7 PM but I gave Jeff a call because of previous good experiences with Elks Electric. After a long days work and on his way home, he said he would swing by and take care of it. Within 30 minutes he had located and repaired the problem. Who could ask for better service? He is a retired firefighter and his work is always professional and value-priced. I trust him to never risk safety by working outside of the electric code. I won"t use anyone else for my electrical work.

Highly recommend, very impressed with all my fan lights and the new installation of my flood light, which at times seem to be a stinker, with the perseverance of the owner and the consistency, it works amazingly!!! will highly recommend to family and friends. Crew that came out was amazing, installed fans on my patio. They didn’t seal the electrical on the roof because ‘they aren’t licensed to do that’. I now have water pouring through the fans from the roof onto my patio. Afraid to turn the light on so as to not blow the fuse. Was going to use them again until this became such a huge ordeal
