This was my first time ever hiring a chimney sweep. I was expecting Mary Poppins but we got Benjamin, who may as well be a chimney doctor. Super professional, great service, and very helpful.

I just tried calling this establishment, based on the stellar reviews. Whoever answered the phone clearly did not realize (or care?) that they were answering the phone for a business, as I had to ASK if this was "Cheap Sweep Chimney Sweep." The guy's response was "uuuuh, yeah?" After an awkward pause, he continued to say, "Well, can I help with something?" Strike two. I proceeded to say that I'd like to schedule a time for them to come sweep my chimney. No response, just shouting for someone else to come for the phone. Strike three, you're out. Sorry guys, you should probably get someone else to answer the phone. As for me, I'll be calling another business.

Just had our chimney swept and so thankful we did! They got us in the same week, super affordable and on time. Our house was filling with smoke this winter season, and now we have beautiful clean fires. Thank you 🙏🏻

Professional Service! Sam cleaned out my dryer vents on site too and gave me great advice about how to keep my chimney clean and in tact. I will definitely be using them again!

Local wins again! After trying to reach several different companies, I found this local company, and couldn't be happier. They were affordable, got me in within a week, and did a great job. Educated in the profession, friendly and courteous (and wore a mask), fast but thorough. Our wood stove has never looked so great! We'll certainly be having them come back yearly.

My gas fireplace was dirty and not emitting gas properly from the holes in the tube and I wasn't sure if I needed it cleaned or replaced. These guys talked me through how to clean it or replace it myself for very cheap and were super professional. Although I did not end up using them, I will in the future based on their kindness, honesty and willingness to help me out even though I clearly wasn't going to be a customer that day.

As a first-time fireplace owner with zero knowledge (we recently moved), I called Cheap Sweep to clean and inspect our wood-burning fireplace. Sam talked me through everything he was looking at and what to watch out for, in addition to answering all my silly questions. He took his time, never rushing to head out the door. On top of that, he said our fireplace was actually pretty clean, offering to skip the cleaning and only charge for the inspection. How refreshing! That earned my trust right there. I learned a lot, and will absolutely call on them for future cleanings and inspections. Thank you, Sam!

Finally had our chimney cleaned and am so glad I hired Cheap Sweep. I just selected them because they were the closest but Sam was great - friendly, efficient, and gave me a lot of information about the condition of my chimney. All around great experience and have already recommended him to my son. Terrific service!

Hired them last year to fix our chimney liner and was quoted $700 for the repair, which was to include a new liner for $500 and labor at $200. They ended up charging us $860 and did not even replace the liner. To mitigate the higher final cost, we were promised a free chimney sweep this year. When my husband called to schedule our supposedly-free sweep this year, the business owner told us “absolutely not” and refused to give us a free sweep. She proceeded to say that prices went up and they would not honor this free sweep because we didn’t have a written statement.

That’s not even the worst part. After looking at the liner this year, it wasn’t even fixed, just reversed, and the distortion in the liner they were paid to fix (but didn’t) makes it unable to be swept at all. They also didn’t even secure it at the top and left the liner free floating in the chimney. When asking the company about fixing this for the safety of our family they refused and even threatened us for contacting them. Very disappointed that a company won’t stand by their work especially when it comes to safety hazards.

Our dryer hasn’t been able to work since February, and little to our knowledge, it was because of a massive disgusting blockage left by our home’s previous owners. Another company in town said the job was done, but our dryer continued to stop working due to lack of ventilation.

Kelly came and tackled the vents of our 1978 home and didn't leave until the job was finished. We are also grateful for the owner, Jake, who came and assisted until 10pm when the massive blockage was gone! The job was professional and they even showed us via their scope camera that the blockage was clear, and tested the airflow outside (something another local company failed to do).

We will be scheduling all our vent cleanings with them from now on! Thanks y’all!
