About 7 years ago LaBarge Landscape re-landscaped the back yard of our home we had purchased several months earlier. We had other estimates, but chose La Barge. They did a great job! Since then they have done several smaller project in the back as well as the front yards. This spring we had a portion of the grass removed in the back yard and that area xeroscaped. As ususal they were professional, polite, and thorough. LaBarge has a great crew! They do our spring cleanup every year

Jack is very professional and easy to work with. His team turned a large part of my property from a desert in to a lush, green yard. As problems were encountered, Jack was quick to communicate them to me and explain options. I never felt like I was getting anything but a fair price.

Jamie from LaBarge Landscape came to our home on May 22, 2020 to provide an estimate to do some very basic work on our backyard. He was pushy & wanted us to add features that we didn't want. He didn't listen to what we wanted. It was about what he wanted us to do. Jamie told us he would get back to us with an estimate of what we requested in a week or so. He never got back to us at all. I believe that if his company didn't want the job, they could have told us that instead of saying they'd get back to us & then never following up. I do NOT recommend this company due to lack of ethics and unprofessional attitude.

Jack and his team recently completed transforming our backyard from the ground up. We moved into a new construction home earlier this year with an unfinished backyard. Jack met with us to create a design plan and his team completed the work on time and on budget. We are pleased with the results and would not hesitate to work with LaBarge again in the future.

For starters, I had a fairly extensive overhaul of my backyard. I had an Asphalt RV space removed and replaced with colored concrete, a tree installed with a drip irrigation system, a section of sand removed and replaced with grass, a fence installed, and a couple of sump holes installed for drainage.

The good: The concrete that they recommended was beautiful. I had a section that was stamped that went very nicely with the design of the house. The grass that was installed was also beautiful and has flourished. The sprinkler system they installed also worked great. The tree we had put in is a beautiful addition to the yard. Unexpectedly, we had issues with our sprinkler set up and they were able to diagnose and repair in short order. It was a great job. The guys who showed up at my house were respectful and very friendly. They were quick to respond to requests and also when the fencing issue described in the next section occurred, they were very quick to get it looked at and fixed to satisfaction.

The not so good: I had a couple types of fencing installed: plastic and wooden. The plastic fencing at first go was rather unstable, provided that it was at odd angles. However, after calling them they came and fixed it to satisfaction.

The indifferent: The sump holes I had installed to deal with pool backwashing don't quite work as expected. I had two installed in total, one that would be overflow in case the first filled. Unfortunately the water pressure partially fills the first one but then actually skims the top and overflows into an area that wasn't expected. Probably a quick fix would be to have a turn down the pvc outlet so the water flows down immediately after exiting the pipe instead of horizontal. The wooden fence section I had installed was not using pressure treated wood, I didn't specify that it had to, but with the water from the sprinklers hitting it along with the sun it's causing it to degrade quickly. The stamped concrete section has topical cracks, but as a whole the concrete looks wonderful. Being nit-picky it's more informational, had I been notified to try and keep the concrete moist so it settles better it may have resulted in less topical cracks. But again it's more informational and stamped concrete is prone to cracking initially.

Overall: I think they did a great job and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for more work in the future. I think they were able to perform the job very nicely and my backyard looks better than ever. The recommendations they made regarding concrete color and stamp pattern look great with the house. The repair work done to get my sprinkler system functional was also wonderful. I would definitely recommend LaBarge to people in the future.

Martin and his coworker did a great job cleaning up my yards. They got all my leaves out and trimmed my trees exactly the way I wanted. They touched up my bushes and hauled away some yard junk. All this was done at a fair price. Thank you La Barge Landscaping. I will continue using them for any yard work.

Let me tell you something, I have used plenty of contractors and gotten quotes... but Jack and La Barge were perfection. I had my side garden and front yard relandscaped this summer and it turned out better than I could have expected. My experience with La Barage exceeded my expectations. I was prepared to provide Jack Lantry with my expectations toward a yard that would be maintenance free when we met for our initial consult. I thought I needed a French drain where rain rushed to the ground from my rounded sunroom roof. Jack said I would not need one which saved me an added expense. Jack helped me to select the materials that best met my expectations as well as my budget. He was respectful and courteous toward me. The team of landscapers who did the work were always on time and courteous toward me. Every evening the worksite was cleaned up of debris. I have used La Barge two times since the installment of my backyard and was exceedingly pleased with the clean up. I highly recommend La Barge.

This company is fabulous!!! The owner came to give me a quote for rock landscaping in my backyard and a quote for maintenance of the rest of my front & back yards. The crew came when promised, completed the job & it is/still beautiful. The maintenance crew is absolutely fabulous - they are like ninjas - come, do their job and leave. The office staff is remarkable - very responsive and fantastic to work with. I would recommend them highly!!!

This is a great company to work with! I had 3 estimates and this one was the most reasonable. I had a ballpark figure in mind and LaBarge came closest to it. I didn't feel like they tacked on a lot of extras - just gave me the basics and honesty. The actual job proved to be a bit more "involved" than anyone anticipated, but there was no extra charge for the additional labor. The crew was on-time, professional, and pleasant to work with. The owner, Jack, made some excellent suggestions for small changes and he was spot-on! We couldn't be happier with our beautiful patio and I'm sure it will be enjoyed for many years to come. LaBarge was wonderful to work with. We needed a clean up and new mulch and the job was done professionally and made a tremendous difference. A couple of weeks later we had a break in one of our main lines, Manuel was able to repair it quickly and then assessed our entire system. LaBarge provided an estimate to update the irrigation that was completed yesterday at a very reasonable cost. They are nice to work with and they are now our go to landscaping company.

We chose LaBarge because they carry Rain Bird irrigation products, I contacted them about coming out and a giving us a quote which included installation of a sub-surface irrigation system, along with tree removal and replacement with new trees and gravel removal in our backyard.

Ashley came out we talked with her told her what we wanted and have yet to hear back from her or anyone else from the company. I followed up a week later and two weeks later no word.

I guess the job is too big and will do it myself as the weather gets cooler or hire somebody else.

I recently had a wonderful experience with La Barge Landscape, Jack the owner was very informative and detail oriented during the estimate. He listened thoroughly to what I was looking for and was able to interpret that into my ideal yard. The crew did a fantastic job from start to finish and were so kind when I asked any questions. I got new sod, planters all around perimeter with beautiful flowers, pavers, a water feature that I love and a concrete slab and path from my front yard to the back. I am very pleased with all the work and the staff. I highly recommend this company.

I have LaBarge come to my home regularly to help me upkeep my front yard and keep the HOA off my back. They have made my yard beautiful and helped with an unruly Spanish broom that hadn’t been maintained in at least decade before I bought the home.

They have always been very responsive to my requests and followed up to ensure my yard was to my liking. I don’t know how they are able to clean all those pine needles but they get them all!

I’m meeting with them soon to landscape my backyard because although I tried to do it myself, it is something to leave to the professionals!
