Smart Landscaping has been a pleasure to work with. They are an extremely professional and responsive company and they do an excellent job at a reasonable cost. I've used several companies and had very mixed experiences, but Smart Landscaping has won us over with their superior work and excellent customer service....and they're just nice people to do business with. Highly recommended, 5 stars!

I had a great experience working with the owner and team at SMART Landscape Management who recently installed irrigation, sprinklers and low flow to my entire property. In addition, they did a comprehensive overhaul of my backyard landscaping. The owner, Marshall, was prompt to come out to do an assessment and bid. I had a definite design in mind and he and his company were able to bring my vision to a reality. The supervisor and the team of workers did a great job following the plan. They were prompt, polite, extremely hard working, gracious, dependable and respectful of me and my property at all times. Unexpected issues were discussed with me and readily resolved. I had complete confidence from the first meeting that Marshall and his team would do a great job. I am very happy with the final product and recommend this company to others for any size project.

I cannot recommend SMART Landscape Management highly enough! I have been using them for my year-round yard maintenance for several years, and they are consistently reliable, efficient, and an absolute pleasure to work with.

Marshall and his team communicate exceptionally well and always exercise good judgment, which I truly appreciate. The know what plants to trim back and which to leave to grow naturally. They consistently perform an excellent job on routine maintenance, but they have also proven their expertise on bigger projects. They expertly installed new borders and restored depleted gravel. The whole crew is professional and polite.

My wife and I engaged Urban Earth Landscaping to re-do our very old, very cracked concrete pool deck with beautiful pavers. Our experience with them was A+++ from beginning to end.

The owner, Steve, came to our home, took measurements, and spoke with us about what our vision was for the project. He then suggested that we meet at Buildology (the building materials place) to see larger samples of possible pavers. That proved to be a very good idea because what we had initially chosen then didn't appear as attractive to us and, with Steve's guidance, we are thrilled with our final selection.

Urban Earth then provided us with a written estimate which seemed very fair and appropriate. We then eagerly awaited the designated date for the work to begin. Steve, his project manager, and jobsite crew showed up on time and the work progressed steadily until it was perfectly done.

Carlos, the team leader for the actual work, was "in the zone" as he measured, cut (as needed), and placed each paver with incredible precision. All of the workers were incredibly respectful with us, our property, and our plants/gardens as they competently and diligently attended to each task from beginning to end -- including leaving the jobsite clean at the end of each day's work.

I highly recommend Urban Earth Landscaping, and, in fact, I'm now in the process of working with them on two additional landscaping projects and I'm confident that I'll be updating this review with further praise over the next month or two.

We just moved to Albuquerque and we found Steven (owner of Urban Earth Landscaping), who guided us through all of the different options for our driveway and we decided on the pavers. They turned out better than we expected! It was also so fast with that gadget he has! Thank you so much!

Urban Earth did a beautiful job re-landscaping our back yard according to our vision. The designer assigned to us was new to the job, so we oversaw quite a bit of the design and HOA communication ourselves along with the help of the on-site crew who helped with decision-making as the project evolved. [note: if you have absolutely no idea what you want, ask for a highly experienced designer]. The crew was conscientious and attentive to detail as well as very hard-working. One of the best benefits was that once they started the job, they came every work day until it was complete, even though we had a few glitches along the way and the project took quite a bit longer than they had told us it would.

This is the second time that I have worked with Erin Gibson on landscape design. The first project is also photographed in her Houzz portfolio. I loved what she designed on that project, and the new landscaping presented new challenges. There was no landscaping in the front of the house, a large rectangle of grass in the backyard, and that was about it. I wanted to save some of the grass for my pups to play on, but certainly not all. She turned the lawn into a smaller, meandering swath of grass, which was much more attractive. She picked out and brought in beautiful, unusual trees, and lots of plants, many of them xeric. We chose an arbor/small gazebo where roses are climbing. Her Urban Earth crew built a beautiful shade structure with carved posts. Erin's knowledge of trees and plants is extensive, she has never steered me wrong in terms of hardiness, water needs and other concerns. I think it is essential that Erin supervise the project: her placement of plants and lighting, supervising of structures being built, etc. was crucial. I was able to consult with her with any concerns until the project was completed. I am extremely delighted with the results. It's like having a wonderful outside great room, with different places to sit in depending on the shade during the day. I recommend Erin Gibson and Urban Earth Landscaping wholeheartedly.

My husband and I met with Steve in person to design our back yard. We should begin construction at the beginning of May. We can't wait to see the results!

Major project for my home.  Erin Gibson helped us turn our vague plan for something functional and low- maintenance into something that was all that and so much more!  Through multiple revisions, estimates, and endless choices, she did everything to make sure our plan was exactly what we wanted and exactly what we wanted to pay.  Work was fast, efficient, and courteous.  Everyone at Urban Earth worked around our busy schedule, project was done on time, and the quality was beyond what we even thought possible.  Absolutely stunning transformation!

First off, let me say that this was not a perfect install of approximately 2000 sq. ft. of the Sandia Bluegrass we requested, in May of 2021. What was perfect was the customer service and integrity of Steve Biernacki (owner) of Urban Earth Landscaping which was evident in each of the many interactions we had with him.

The grass looked amazing… until it didn’t. We followed the care instructions to a tee, but the lawn continued to deteriorate. In late summer Steve brought in and paid for an expert to evaluate, diagnose, and treat the issues the lawn had. Spring arrived and we were hopeful the grass would bounce back, but it didn’t. So, without reservation, in May of 2022 Urban Earth Landscaping replaced the entire lawn under warranty, which is now thriving and beautiful.

We cannot begin to tell you how grateful and impressed we are with this man. In a time when it seems our country is falling apart, Steve reminds you that there are still good and honorable people in it. If we ever need landscaping done, Urban Earth Landscaping will be our first and only call and we will gladly refer anyone who asks to them. THANK YOU, STEVE!

Erin landscaped both front and back yards at our Nob Hill house - both difficult spaces where she masterfully designed creative solutions to hard problems. Soon afterward, we found we needed an even more major reconstruction of the front of the house to create wheelchair access. Again, Erin designed and managed the construction of an ingenious solution. As a result, we are able to transport our aging selves wherever we seek to go, making use of a beautiful, landscaped path. Thank you, Erin!

Robert is a wonderful designer and presented a plan that perfectly suited our back yard. The crew under Jordy arrived on time every day and worked hard to transform the area into a beautiful oasis. This is something that we will enjoy for years to come as the plants grow and turn into an array of color.

We moved to Albuquerque recently and needed to landscape a large backyard, courtyard and front yard. We had many ideas and Urban Earth turned these ideas into a wonderful reality! Urban Earth Landscaping was aa excellent choice to work with the piles of dirt and rock left over after building our new home. Our planner Louise, was knowledgeable, friendly and a good communicator. We love our Astro Turf and play Bocce Ball and games with our grandson on it. The plants are green and flowers are blooming. Urban Earth stood by its warranties and was reliable.
