November 2023: I'm just updating my earlier review here. A team of guys from Baca's came to clean up our yard today, and they did everything so perfectly and so beautifully that I just had to comment. We have yard cleanup done every fall. Even though Baca's always does a great job, this time it's really the most beautiful work anyone has ever done for us. The men were all so courteous and kind, and did such careful work. Our yard looks better than ever. Thank you so much, Baca's!

I think Baca's Trees is one of the best businesses I've ever dealt with. From start to finish, they were friendly, professional, and they did a wonderful job with the trees on our property. Robert came out first to give me an estimate. He's one of the owners and he seems like such a great guy, very honest, courteous, and knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all my many questions about our trees. Then the crew came, led by Manuel, who is incredibly nice and has a wonderful, positive attitude, just ready to do anything that I asked him to do. The crew were polite and worked efficiently, and then they hauled away the yard waste and cleaned up the yard. They didn't bill as much as I even expected them to, which I appreciate so much.

Baca's Trees did a superb job. I had many different trees that had experienced heat and drought stress, not to mention just age, and had dead limbs throughout their crowns. The crew who came to do the work were meticulous in identifying and removing the dead limbs of pines, desert willows, an apple, a mulberry, and a redbud. Each of these species has a different growth form and needed different treatment. They removed limbs that were interfering with telephone lines with such precision that nothing else was disturbed. A number of tree companies can cut down the trees, but Baca's groomed the trees so that all dead growth was taken, the shapes were much improved, and the trees all look healthier. Each member of the 4-man crew was professional and personable. They always double checked with me before cutting to ensure that the necessary work plan was clear and acceptable. It was an experience watching them ascend 50-ft. pines and pinpoint the limb to be cut. The cut pile of limbs was cleaned away down to the last twig--they left the lawn cleaner than it was before they came. I highly recommend Baca's Trees.

The crew that came to deadwood trim my 2 old (50 yrs) ash trees were very professional & careful around the landscape surrounding the trees. They worked quickly but carefully & did an excellent job of cleaning up the debris. I have always used Baca's for my tree care & I trust them completely. I highly recommend them.

This is one of my favorite companies in NM. Good communication. Fair pricing with an attitude of service.

This is my third time using Baca’s. They trimmed my globe willow, peach tree, and removed 3 bushes. Every time they come out they’re friendly, efficient, and do a great job cleaning up. My globe willow has never looked so healthy. I also had a very large bush removed and I can’t tell it was ever there. I would highly recommended. 10/10

I am very satisfied with the entire process with Baca's Trees. The office person who scheduled the quote and the person who called to confirm the appointment. The person who gave me the quote on the work was helpful with suggestions and information and the three men who arrived on time to do the work did a great job. Reviewed the quote before starting, were very careful about the fence and neighbor's yard and cleaned up really well.
I'm sorry I can't remember all the names of the folks I dealt with but I definitely recommend Baca's Trees.

Be very careful with your work order and describe and detail everything you want done. Be physically present for the entire job. Do not expect them to treat your trees with care or thought. The job that was performed on my property was carried out by "hired hands" who didn't understand the direction. When we confronted Baca Trees about this we were given an excuse. The attached picture is a 1/3 trim. Notice how many of the branches are chainsawed off. I cannot recommend this company for arbor related services UNLESS you want to butcher the tree.

AWESOME! I wish every company the I have to deal with was as professional, efficient, and fair-priced as Baca's Trees! I have 2 - 30 foot high silver maples with freeze damage and bores, one dead and the other with damaged high limbs. Baca's gave me a fair price, showed up right on schedule, and removed the dead tree and limbs without a hitch. 6 workers came and worked like a synchronized machine. Literally in and out in 2 hours and didn't leave so much as a leaf for me to clean up. From the office staff, to the estimator, to the arborist (yes, these guys aren't "tree trimmers", they're surgeons), every step of the process was great. I will never consider or trust any other company with my trees again!

Baca's Trees came out and pruned our trees earlier this season. The service was professional and amazing. Our trees have absolutely thrived this summer.

This place is amazing. I was told by other companies I would have to lose my tree and pay over $1000 to have it removed. These guys saved it and I could not be happier. Also, a baby dove was displaced and one of the guys went to great length to make sure it was OK..

Camille was able to assist in identifying the cause of our tree sickness. She was knowledgeable and very helpful.

The team at Baca Trees is excellent. From the initial assessment, proposal, scheduling to the actual work everyone and everything was prompt, efficient and well done. We had several older trees pruned, a stump removed and a new tree planted. We are very pleased with a job well done!

This is the second time i have use Bacas Trees. They have been on time, done a professional job, are friendly and clean up well. I will be using them again. I used them for pruning of fruit trees and other trees.

They arrived on time. Very professional and knowledgeable. Answered my questions. They cleaned up all the debris. My trees look better than they have looked for years!

Excellent Service! Baca's Trees have done a great job trimming our trees about every 5 years for the last 15 years. They have always done a great job trimming some difficult elms around our house. Manuel's crew was very professional and did an excellent job cleaning up as well.

Baca's Trees was awesome to work with. They got out to us promptly, have very competitive pricing and we are very happy with their removal of a dying tree and stump removal. The team was very careful to not cause any damage to the surrounding landscaping and irrigation system and they cleaned up immaculately afterwards. Highly recommend!

Mixed review: The Good: They did a good job trimming the trees we paid them to work on. They hauled off all the trimmings. The Bad: When they arrived, they opened the two gates to the backyard, that's fine, but when they left, they just left the gates wide open. (we have a dog) There were numerous empty water bottles around the property, they just drank the water, dropped the bottles and left them. No-one on the crew identified themselves as the Forman/Lead, so apparently no team lead, so I did not know who to give check to... so I drove their payment to Edith address. No lead also follows that no-one did a final walk through to pick up trash, close up gates, return to starting condition... they all just left. No-one ever asked me how they did, follow-up, even at payment in person. Conclusion: we will not use them again.

These people cut the trees in my townhouse complex. As you can see they left the rubbish and debris in my backyard, despite having a wood chipper with them. Annoying, but I can deal with that. The much scarier thing is that they left the gate to my back yard wide open. I have a dog that has a dog door, allowing her access to the backyard all day long. Luckily my dog isn’t a runner, but this could have been very bad if she was. Wouldn’t recommend hiring them.
