Tree reviews in Albuquerque, New Mexico

I was very impressed with the expertise and work ethic of the staff I worked with from Legacy Tree Co., from the arborist, Curtis, who gave the estimate while also educating me on some of my trees, to the staff who did the tree removal and dead branch removals.
The staff arrived on time, and were careful and thorough with their work, including the clean-up. They all communicated well and answered all questions I had. They were all wonderful to work with! -
I am extremely pleased with work done today. I have to commend Lila, she’s an excellent representative of your company. I appreciate her knowledge and excitement about her knowledge of trees. I loved the fact that I never felt foolish for asking questions. Lila, Dallas and Jasper all worked beautifully together. I had several trees trimmed and they did a great job cleaning up the debris.
I requested some business cards to share with my neighbors and friends.
Thank you!!!

We are delighted with the beautiful trim and prune work this GREAT crew did on our big mulberry and desert willow! Very careful and knowledgeable, with an eye to how the trees will grow in the future.
We couldn’t be happier and look forward to having them do more in the future! -
From the estimate by Aaron to the clean up when the work was finished — excellent. Aaron, Luca and Isaiah worked well together as a team. They were knowledgeable, professional, competent, careful around other plantings and thorough. I am quite pleased with the results.

Legacy Tree Company is absolutely outstanding. From start to finish, they were professional, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. Their crew handled all the trees around our property—including the ones over our barn—with incredible skill and precision. Watching them climb and trim safely and expertly was impressive in itself.
Everyone on the team was friendly, respectful, and clearly cared about doing quality work. They left everything clean and tidy, and their pricing was very reasonable, especially for the level of expertise they provide. I truly cannot say enough good things about this company. Highly recommend Legacy Tree Company to anyone needing tree work done right. 🌳👏 -
I highly recommend Legacy Tee Company. They removed three large, heavy trees between two homes. I had 2 low stumped, and left the third fence height. As a former sawyer with state forestry I was impressed with their accomodations, use of chainsaws, bucket work, rigging skills, communication, and professionalism. At the end of the job, if my memory is correct- dude leading the job Connor said it was real fun work. Which is awesome! Again I highly recommend the company for any work you need. They even offered me a veteran discount. Thanks a bunch Legacy!

This was a very professional company who arrived on time, had great communication, worked hard, and really took their time and protected my property as much as possible. They had a very difficult task with a very large tree that was right next to my pool so tricky process on trying to ensure no damage to mine or my neighbors home. Would definitely recommend their services. They did a phenomenal job cleaning up after themselves to the point that it was almost hard to understand they had been here.

We’ve used Legacy Tree Company for many years, and once again they did an amazing job with pruning and shaping our trees today. Their team is incredibly knowledgeable about trees and clearly understands what each tree needs to thrive and be its best. They are always professional, punctual, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. I’m so grateful to have a company I trust to care for our trees — highly recommend!

I called Legacy Tree to get an arborist’s opinion about my big mulberry tree, which had suffered a broken branch, and I had other concerns about the tree as well. Graeme answered all my questions, gave me reassurance about the overall condition of the tree. Nathan and his crew just left, after performing all the work as recommended, and my tree looks great, it is allowing more sunlight through, but still has a great shady canopy.
Over all I would definitely recommend them to friends and family, and will definitely call them back for future tree work. I trust their work, and everyone was so polite and nice. Great people! And I got to keep the chipped branches for mulch! -
Legacy came highly recommended in Google and responded quickly to our call requesting an assessment of our trees and related trimming. A neighbor was unhappy with pine needles falling in his yard & kept trying to convince us the trees were ill (& might need cutting down) but they were not. The initial arborist assessment appointment fee was very reasonable and easy to schedule. The arborist showed up on time, provided us a quote after explaining the work they recommended, and explained why the more extensive work (preferred by our neighbor) was not recommended.
They sent timely reminders before our appointment for tree trimming, and showed up on time with 3 employees to complete the agreed work. They completed the work as agreed, and cleaned up all debris in our yard and our neighbor’s yard. We were glad to have them complete the work professionally and for their advice to trim no more than 20% of the tree every 3 to 5 years to manage extra trunk growth, etc. We are glad that we spent a little extra to get an arborist out versus the landscaper does work for our neighbor, who recommended cutting the tree(s) down just because he doesn’t like pine needles. Legacy’s fees were reasonable. -
The crew arrived within the time frame and wasted no time setting up and getting to work. They were friendly, focused on the work needed, consulted/asked questions as appropriate, and otherwise just worked full on for about six hours. They accommodated our request to separate small from large tree cuttings, setting aside the larger limbs for our firewood stash, and shredding the smaller branches for mulch which we will use in our garden. They did a great job on clean up. You get what ya pay for -- we got everything we paid for and then some.

Harrison, was my ‘first touch’ with Legacy. He was professional in every sense giving me 1 1/2 hours assessing the best course of action to trim & support this massive tree. Kensie received all my calls & promptly answered & directed. Nathan, Griffin & Ryan called in advance & arrived as planned. Personable, professional, skilled individuals who worked as a well oiled team to make my straggly cottonwood beautiful! They trimmed, while cabling mid sized branches to stronger ones while they avoided power lines, protected the neighboring properties & made a safe zone away from my own roof. I am sincerely grateful for your expertise!

I don’t usually write reviews right away — I like to wait and see how the work holds up before sharing my experience. It’s been three years since Legacy Tree Company worked on our beloved 60-year-old mulberry, and I can confidently say their work was extraordinary.
Our enormous mulberry had split down the middle — the crack widened with every strong wind, and we were terrified it would come down on our home or hurt someone. Every other company said it had to be removed. Harrison and his team at Legacy were the only ones willing to try something different.
They consulted with multiple experts, designed custom drill bits, and engineered a one-of-a-kind bracing system that literally married the two halves of the tree together. It was a huge undertaking and a real gamble, but they understood how much the tree meant to us — it’s our only summer shade, and it shelters countless birds.
Year one was touch and go; we weren’t sure the tree would survive. The stress of the repair and the previous damage took a toll, and we watched closely through every season.
By year two, things began to change — an arborist who came to trim the tree was amazed at her recovery and the craftsmanship of Legacy’s work.
Now, three years later, our mulberry is thriving. The bracing has held perfectly, the canopy is full, and the leaves are bright green and glossy. We’ve had little to no branch breakage this year, and the tree has become a bit of a neighborhood legend for the incredible “surgery” she survived.
If you want a tree company that treats trees like living history — with creativity, respect, and skill — call Legacy Tree Company. They don’t just remove trees; they save them. -
Corky’s team came out and did a great job pruning our trees. They explained as they went and cleaned everything up nicely. We will definitely use them again!

This place is the WORST. Allowed them access to my property to work on neighbros trees to be a good neighbor. Their equipment damaged multiple areas of drieveway and parking lot. They didn't let me know...just left and then argued about it being their fault after I called them. Just unprofessional and don't take into account peoples prorperty...like the world is built for them to just pillage and plunder....find a better place and if your neighbor hires them don't let them on your property!

My first experience with Baca's trees was years ago when PNM had contracted ANOTHER company to trim our mature trees near the power lines behind our house. I requested that an arborist be present because I thought the trim job that was proposed was not appropriate for our trees. The arborist who was from Baca's (via PNM) skillfully guided the trimming process to clear the lines while shaping the trees beautifully! That guided trim has lasted more than 10 years! I watched the other day as another trim and cable job was done for my trees - again, perfection! Manuel (a master at guiding the truck-mounted bucket through our trees) and his crew worked seamlessly, to the very end of the job and left my property spotlessly clean. No reason for me to look elsewhere when it comes to tree care services.

The estimator, Camille, came out. She was very courteous and efficient. I received a written estimate and we set an appointment for 7:00 am two weeks out. The crew came out at 7:00 am and had completed the entire job plus excellent cleanup by 9:30 am. I then received a call two days later to make sure I was happy with the job. I highly recommend this company.

We just moved to New Mexico and inherited a couple of invasive trees and a root problem, as well as some other concerns. We wanted to have an Arborist assess the issues and give us an idea of how to address them and were told by several people in our neighborhood to call Baca's Trees.
Our first contact with Baca's was Dennis, who showed up right on time, patiently listened to a slew of questions, and provided honest and comprehensive answers to all. Sadly, we found that we had to take a couple of trees out, as they had already done a lot of damage to structures, driveways, and plumbing. Dennis gave us great explanations as well as several sources to check so that we could make an educated choice for less invasive trees.
We scheduled service to have the problem trees removed and Dennis, his foreman Ignacio, Gabriel, Saul, and Jesus were there early, ready to work, and with a vast array of equipment. They operated seamlessly and were on top of everything, from set up to clean up.
Dennis asked us if we'd like to have some planks cut from the tree and they even made us a woodpile, yet with all the activity, people, and machinery, the yard was spotless when they left. The estimate matched the invoice, and it was a fair price.
Dennis and Baca's treated us, our trees, and our property with care and respect. Two of our neighbors were so impressed that they asked for a business card.
These are the people you want to use If you want a truly professional service for your trees. Bravo! -
Camille was very responsive, helpful, and encouraging. And of course extremely knowledgeable.

Had a great experience with Baca's. Everyone I talked to was friendly and knowledgeable, and they cleaned up a lot of dead growth on a mulberry tree in a tricky spot between two power lines pretty quickly, even cut up limbs into logs for our fireplace. I got 3 quotes for 4 trees and they were either the same as or slightly cheaper than everyone else. You do have to schedule service pretty far ahead, but late summer/early fall might just be a busy season.
