Road runner installed two large Mitsubishi efficient mini-splits with the largest heat pump outside. Their crew of four (Horacio,Juan,Brian and Kibasaim) were professional and efficient. We are very pleased with their work, excellent. We also liked Steven and Sarah’s involvement on planning and design. We recommend Roadrunner highly. Thank you our system works just fine.

Simply outstanding whole house mini-split install, a VERY refreshing change from the usual Santa Fe area contractor experience. One of only two Mitsubishi Diamond Elite level dealers in New Mexico. Steven, our main contact; was extremely knowledgeable, forthright, respectful, and always followed up. RR was the ONLY contractor out of the seven estimates I received, to perform a proper heating/cooling load analysis (the others basically swagged external and internal unit sizing, INCLUDING the other NM Diamond Elite level contractor, and were way off in some cases). Install crew was punctual, friendly, responsive to requests, and cleaned up after they were done each day. A slight cost premium over most of the other estimates I received; but a premium equipment/install experience and for me well worth it. Will revisit after first annual checkup by RR.

Had a heat pump system installed in December, the process was really well managed by the project manager Steven Booth. Kept me in the loop, walked me through the options, and listened carefully to what my needs & desires were when it came to the size and type of system to install. That saved me money and gave me a system that suits my needs well. Julian and Bryan did a great job of installing, and did some post install troubleshooting promptly and skillfully. The whole thing took about a week, and everything is working great.

I had a fantastic experience working with Julian. He was prompt, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to clearly explain what the issue was, answered all of my questions patiently, and made sure I understood the solution. The work was done efficiently and thoroughly, and everything is now running perfectly. It’s not easy to find someone this reliable and communicative—highly recommended!

My husband and I hired Roadrunner to replace our gas furnace with a heat pump system so that we could have air conditioning in the summer as well as heat in the winter. The system was installed a couple of days ago and we are so pleased with the quiet operation of the Mitsubishi air handler and the warmth that the heat pumps provide.

The service provided by Julian and Juan was fantastic! Though the installation took longer than expected due to a delay in the shipment of a part and an issue with getting our Nest thermostat to connect to the Mitsubishi system, I was impressed with how they kept us informed of where they were in the process and how they did their best to minimize any discomfort. They did a great job of cleaning up at the end of the day and made sure that we were happy with the placement of equipment and sealing/insulation around wall intrusions. Julian even delayed his planned time off by a couple of days so that he could ensure that everything was working properly for us. It is rare to see that level of dedication to a project and to a customer's satisfaction, and we really appreciated it!

The staff at Roadrunner was great to work with and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking to replace their heating and cooling systems!

We just had a mini split system installed by Roadrunner and our experience was excellent. Tim was very knowledgable and provided a comprehensive, detailed estimate. Rueben explained what they were doing and why during the installation. They also protected our home while working. The installation was completed on time ( 3 days ) and has performed flawlessly,

Roadrunner has been terrific through the years and my experience today was consistent with that. They are very responsive, competent, and their charges are extremely fair. Gus, the tech, was outstanding, and April arranged our urgent appointment in minutes. Gus arrived within 2 hours of my call to April and addressed a complicated AC problem in less than an hour. No need to call anyone else for AC or heating issues!

Roadrunner has done several jobs for us, including the plumbing for a bathroom remodel, the installation of a new hot water heater, and installation of two mini splits. They are very knowledgeable, and do high-quality work. They are our first choice for HVAC and plumbing work.
Yesterday Justin Montoya arrived to take care of a couple of issues, including troubleshooting our Reverse Osmosis water system. Justin was outstanding: very knowledgeable, hardworking and pleasant to be around. He solved all our issues, and worked until the job was done--even though it was late on a Friday. We highly recommend Justin.
Another visit by Justin for other issues on 1/16/2026: Once again, everything was taken care of perfectly and quickly.

Horacio, Kibsaim, and Julian installed 2 multisplit units and did an excellent job: considerate, clean, timely, professional, and skilled. I highly recommend this company.

Brayan and Alcidis arrived the same day that I requested service. Very communicative and let me know exactly what they were going to do, to fix my leaking toilet. Courteous, efficient and all around 100% professional. So pleased Roadrunner is my go-to for all of my plumbing and HVAC needs. Highly recommended.

Roadrunner Air Conditioning did an amazing job of installing a Mitsubishi system at my home in Taos in February 2025. From my initial contacts with Michaela, Matthew and Tim to schedule a visit to bid the job, to the convenience of scheduling of the work; During the work of installing the six Mitsubishi Heating/Cooling mini splits in my pueblo style home, the crew (Julian, Juan, Horacio and Alcides) truly knocked it out of the park with their workmanship from the start to the finish of the project. They maintained cleanliness in the home while they did their installation work, and communicated with me throughout the project. Their attention to detail during the 6 days they were there at my home was excellent. I was so impressed by and appreciative of the quality all of their professionalism, that is why I give them 5 stars.

It thoroughly changed our lives and immediately increased summer comfort levels when Roadrunner AC, Heating & Plumbing installed five mini-split units in our home eight summers ago.
Today, Gus and Mauri worked as a team to take apart and expertly clean each unit. They were personable, explained the entire process thoroughly, and used their time efficiently to do an exceptional job. The house is definitely fresher. Roadrunner just installed a central air conditioning unit at our house and it was a fantastic experience. Tim was terrific at helping us understand our options for what we needed. The crew of Julian, Juan, and Kibsaim were outstanding. They are skilled and professional, doing very neat and tidy work with great attention to detail. They were very careful with the house and left everything looking beautiful. And they're really nice friendly people! Everybody showed up exactly when they said they would with everything they needed to do the job. Very impressed with this team, would 100% recommend to anyone. Great work!

We had our AC break down just as guests were coming into town for my birthday party. We hired another company who said we needed a new pump, so we had them install one... But within 24 hours, there was no cold air coming into the house.

We called Roadrunner and April was fantastic. She understood our urgency, and sent out Gus on a Friday afternoon. He correctly diagnosed and repaired the problem. Their prices are fair and their customer service is excellent. We will be using them exclusively in the future, and referring them to our local network. It's great to find honest, capable vendors that you can trust.

Juan and Kibsaim did great work. The job looks very clean. They were friendly, professional, and respectful of our space as much as possible.

If you’ve got Mitsubishi, make sure to get Juan! Very tidy, responsible, and knowledgeable. He did a 26pt eval as a part of their annual maintenance plan on my condensers and did a great job of cleaning the coils and inspecting everything.
