Reviews of local pros in Socorro, New Mexico

Robert replaced a service line that busted on my house. He finished the job when he said he would finish it, and he charged me what he said he would charge me.

I don't like working with people who give you an hourly rate and say they aren't sure how much it is going to cost when it is a straight forward job. This was a straight forward job, and I know that because I have a family with plumbers in another city.

There are too many good things to say about Robert. Not only did I find a good plumber: I found a good friend. Thank you Robert. I hope I don't have to call you in the future, but I am happy you are in Socorro if I need you. May your business thrive, and may God watch over you.

Did a phenomenal job, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and quick. Our lines needed to be snaked and most places were offering to do it a few days to a week later and they got it done from request to payment in half a work day. Highly recommend.

Jaramillo's Plumbing has been a local business for decades and Robert Jr carries on his dad's legacy of great, honest, fairly priced service! We had a cut water line in our driveway with a bad repair that failed late Sunday evening. Robert Jr returned my call first thing the next morning and had the repair done correctly, plus troubleshooting and fixing water pressure issues inside the house, caused by the original faulty repair. He also takes full responsibility for the repair site from this point forward with a "Call me if you have ANY more trouble with this!" and he means it.
He also answered all of my questions very patiently, explaining details and reasons for the type of repair needed while he was working.
For plumbing or HVAC issues in Central New Mexico, I recommend Jaramillo's Plumbing!

Quality service, reliable, dependable and friendly!

Excellent service, fast, friendly , quality work

Amazing. Kind and reliable. I would not use anyone else.

After another contractor made a mess of the plumbing in our new house Jeff came out and went above and beyond to fix things for us.

Never showed up for appointment and didn't answer phone calls to see when they would show up.

They'll get the job done. If there are any problems, they'll fix them.
Get a quote before the job is scheduled.

When you need help, they answer and come as quickly as they can. They do a good job and have fair prices. I recommend them highly.

Installed our new gas water heater in Magdalena! Great job at a great price! Thanks Jeff!

Prompt, professional, knowledgeable service!! Love my new kitchen sink and faucet!! No leaks now!!

Got my gas line replaced by them. They charged 1300 dollars but failed to actually fix the problem. I'm still leaking gas and there's nothing I can do about it

A company that truly lives by "do it right the first time" and "measure twice cut once". Other trades people in this town could learn a thing or two or Five ....

I Called to make an appointment so they could fix my water heater and the lady said they could come the next day. She called back about 1 hour and 1/2 and said they are available to come out now amazing service and qwick response.

Amazing people! I've had them take care of my bathrooms, kitchen sink and water heater, always a fabulous job and very transparent :)

I'm the Property Manager for Los Pueblos Apartments on Walkway here in Socorro, NM. I had a Resident come in and tell me that their furnace wasn't working. I sent my Maintenance Tech over to take a look at it and he said that it would not stay lit. So on December 30th, I called Bar J Plumbing. Donna answered the phone and let me know that the soonest anyone would be able to be out here would be the next day. They had a back log of work as well as a major job that the crew was working on. When I let Donna know that the problem was in a Unit with a baby she said she would see what she could do. She called me back and let me know that the guys would be here as soon as possible. Well within about 20 minutes after that call Bar J Plumbing crew was driving up. This company is a company that cares about their patrons. I do not know the names of the guys that came but they are very professional in their work.
THANK YOU BAR J PLUMBING! HAPPY NEW YEAR

I have used Bar J's services for over ten years in conjunction with repairs to my rental properties in Socorro.

The staff is professional, timely and well prepared to handle any problem that I am faced with. The prices while not low are fair. I would rather pay a fair price for work well done. That is what I get from Bar J.

I have also utilized Bar J's services for construction projects. They come to the job when they say they will and complete the work on time. You can count on Bar J to perform properly and they will never hold up your job.

I highly recommend Bar J for all of your plumbing needs.

Bar J Pluming and I have a long and wonderful relationship. Jeff and Cody always are ready and willing to get my plumbing challenges fixed and done the right way. Bar J is my only choice for plumbing issues. Jeff has raised the bar on what competent, quality service is. You guys are the best!

My wife was told this is the only business to get your septic inspected in Socorro, so she contacted them and asked for a quote. She was told they'd have to see the septic system first, which is odd, but she thought since they are the only plumber who inspects septic systems it would be okay. A few days later we get a bill for $1600+, for a septic inspection, two septic hole covers, and pump. After contacting Bar J for the outrageous bill we were given a $200 discount. My advice is this; get a quote before letting this business on your property, there are alternatives. After we received the bill we contacted several other inspectors in Valencia County, the service we were provided would be between $900-$1000 including travel for them.
