First off, we give Rug Doctor Mena our best review. We have sent him two rugs to repair, both rare and valuable pieces: a Karabagh “dragon” rug and an Avunya (Ezineh) prayer rug. Both of these pieces were expertly repaired; it is almost impossible to see the repairs unless you look very, very closely. Mena matches the colored yarns exactly or almost exactly (difficult with 19th cen. rugs which used vegetal dyes), so the repairs blend perfectly with the original. We have watched with wonder and admiration his speed and skill in re-weaving. The Karabagh we then soon sold to a buyer on the Olympic peninsula who could not get the rug out of his mind (or his dreams); he is delighted with its condition; the Avunya hangs on the wall in our foyer as part of our personal collection. (What we like about this rug is its quiet composition and restrained coloration, its elegance of design, and its fine supple ‘handle’.) Finally, Mena starts on your rug as soon as he receives it and proceeds to work on it at ‘warp’ speed. Turn-around is very fast. His charges are very fair and reasonable for the very high quality of the work he performs.

I recently used Mena's services for our midtown Manhattan 8,000 sq ft space and I can confidently say this topped off the at least two other services we used past five years. Not only is Mena pleasant to communicate with, but he is also timely and easy to work with. Best of all he was able to get the 2-year-old coffee stains off in multiple offices that the previous cleaners could not, he left every room neat after, and all this for a much-discounted rate than you can find anywhere in Manhattan. I absolutely recommend Mena's service and will happily use it again when needed!

Wow. Excellent service! Mr. Mena was punctual and repaired my carpet in less than 30 minutes. It's almost like magic. You could never tell something happened. Afterwards, I couldn't tell exactly where the damage was done. I would definitely use again and recommend to anyone I know. VERY affordable rate as well.

Yony was so great. He picked the rug up and dropped it off around my schedule. Professional and the rug came back smelling wonderful.

Really great service great prices went above and beyond for my rug pick up and delivery is also great service when I tell you I had a flood in my house and my rug smelled like death It came back oh so clean and smelling like no water was ever on it I am so happy will definitely take my rugs on a regular for cleaning here they did a great job thank you so much

I just relocated and I used Rug doctor twice to clean my silk area rugs. He did a great job. I also had an area where my dog urined and it was gone. His price is affordable, he is professional and I will be using them again for future cleaning.

This is the second time I’ve used Rug doctor Mena’s service and each time he gets the job done and leaves me extremely satisfied! I have a very expensive rug and he’s repaired holes in it from Bunny rabbit chewing to also getting a massive ketchup spill out of my rug. Also he cleaned two of my white couches for me as well! They both looked like they came back from the showroom floor once he finished.

This was excellent service. Mr. Mena got straight to work quickly removing the rug from every room of my apartment. Understanding I have a toddler, he went back over his work sometime twice to ensuring there were no remaining nails or staples that could potentially cause harm. And it was all done for a great price. I 10/10 would definitely recommend.
