I ultimately chose not to use this company due to an extremely high quote of $2,000 just to grind a single stump. Additionally, I had a scheduled appointment, but when the time came, no one showed up. I called to follow up, and it seemed like I had been forgotten. This experience left me disappointed and concerned about their reliability.

Owens brother tree service does excellent work. They did a great job cleaning up after a storm. They also did a great job pruning some trees. Dennis is a pleasure to deal with. He is very nice and professional.

It was a real pleasure working with Dennis. He came over soon after our phone call, had a look at the site, gave me a rundown and an estimate. A few weeks later, I was ready to get the job done. Dennis and his crew arrived early in the morning and were in an out in about an hour even though the job required working in a tight and awkward Manhattan space. I was impressed by the speed and quality of the work. The site and my basement were left spotless and the actual tree disposed of completely. It's been two weeks now and I am pleased by the results. I hired Owens Tree Service to cut back my Mulberry tree. The work was high and heavy. After agreeing on the price which was fair to the task. I was asked specifically what I would like done. I explained, then they went to work. What can I say, fast, efficient and professional. The cleanup was complete, and I would recommend them without reserve. I would also like to add every person was courteous and friendly.

I needed a number of trees pruned and some assessed for safety reasons. Dennis came out the day after I called and it was clear he knew a lot about trees, wanted to preserve trees whenever possible but also wanted to make things safe around the house. His crew arrived the next day and worked quickly, but they never rushed. They treated everything with care and did a great job of cleaning up when they finished. All in all a very professional outfit and a job well done. I would definitely recommend.

We moved into a home and inherited a 6-7 ft. tall, 24 ft. wide hedge that was easily 20+ years old, overgrown with poison ivy and engulfed the tree and chainlink fence in our yard. After attempting to tackle removal ourselves, we decided to call in an expert and came across the Owens Bros. after searching online for local businesses. Dennis came by on a Thursday to check out what we did, assess what was left to do and gave us a quote. That Saturday morning, Dennis and his crew were in our yard and removed the corroded fence, all of the remaining roots, and freed our tree (which Dennis informed us was a maple tree!) from the hedge vines! The work was complete in about 5 hours, and they hauled all of the debris away, including some debris we had leftover from our initial DIY tackle. Our yard is right near a parking garage, and the crew was very careful with our neighbors' parked cars and even went the extra mile to clean the car hoods off after the work was done. If we had tried to stick to doing this ourselves, it would've easily taken several more weekends (and several more gallons of poison ivy ointment), but now our tree is standing tall, that ugly and poisonous hedge is gone, and our yard is primed for the new fence we want to put in! We could not be more satisfied with the Owens Bros. help on this huge project, which they made seem like a walk in the park. A huge thanks to Dennis and his awesome crew!

Not necessarily tree cutting related but a few days ago my bird flew up into a 50ft tree and couldn’t get down - I called Dennis in a panic and he was there immediately to assess the situation and put me at ease. He came back a few minutes later with the 70ft cherry picker to help me get him down and after a few attempts, Dennis turned my frantic situation around and saved the day (& my bird)!! For it being a Sunday and also Father’s Day, he was PROMPT, HELPFUL, QUICK AND A HERO!

Beautiful job trimming my trees for insurance. They cleaned up all of the debris and cleaned out my gutter. I highly recommend them to anyone.

A very huge tree in my neighbor's backyard grew huge branches onto my property. The branches started interfering with my cable wires and my ELECTRIC wires. Owens Tree Service came to my rescue. Their team of tree cutters operated on a high professional and caring level. They had heavy duty machinery for the Job. They did the difficult work timely, neatly and diligently. Not even a leaf or shrub was left behind. The tree was very tall. So they had to use a bucket lift so that they could carefully remove the branched from the wires. The attitude of the team was that of care and professionalism. I highly recommend Owen Bros Tree Service for any tree issues.

Dennis and his team responded to a nasty tree limb that feel on mine and my neighbor’s backyards after a powerful rain and wind storm last month.
