Hi everyone. This is our review of Stake. I learned about stake and gave them a try. We are a law firm. We had just moved into our new office.

We needed to renovate (sand, plaster, prime, and paint our beautiful Madison windows on the inside (see photo), however this is was not an easy feat because the work requires contractors that understand how to work on skyscrapers because the weather and its elements do make a difference when you are on the 39 floor in the city.

Their expertise was easy to understand and welcoming. They understand what paint to purchase, how may times to prime the walls, and regularly came to check up on the job.

They were on time for their work always. They were fairly reasonable in price although there was a premium (as with anyone) for sensitive work like our job required.

The job was completed without delay and no one complained about their presence. I would recommend them to anyone that has a straightforward renovation job or a sensitive or complicated job.

Stake renovations did a top-notch job in the gut and full renovation of my Brooklyn NY apartment. Michael was truly a god send. Prior to Michael swooping in to the rescue, my husband and I were overwhelmed with a nightmare left behind by our prior loser contractor that ripped us off and did nothing but break down walls, ceilings, floors… the place was a disaster zone. We were distraught but needed to move forward from ground zero.

My husband and I did our homework this time around. We vetted various renovation companies and decided to go with Stake Renovations as they checked all the boxes. Off the bat Michael swept in with a detailed plan, reasonable quote, a timeline, and a great team to back it. Michael provided a vision of the apartment layout alternatives to maximize on space as much as possible. The Stake team executed the work as planned and with attention to every detail. Our home was in good hands with Michael, so much so that we decided to expand the scope to include our basement area with a new kitchen and spruced up our utility room. Of course they helped with the design ideas and provided reasonable quote for the additional work - installing air mini-split units through the apartment and basement (ceiling insert kind) - also replaced a huge large water heater tank with a space saving modern wall mount tankless water heater. This team is the real deal - they can do it all! The overall results are just night and day - high quality and truly breathtaking, sleek, modern, and amazing. Our newly finished Brooklyn apartment looks like a high-end NYC apartment. Michael has fully gained our trust through his work and Stake renovations will remain our go-to for future projects in our Brooklyn building.

I'm very pleased with how our stoop turned out! The old concrete steps were replaced with nice granite treads and clean brick risers. It looks much more polished and modern now. Mohammad and his crew did a solid job.

They are really experienced and they will get the job done on time and they will do an excellent job no matter what , you can rely on them 100 percent. They don't honor their warranty and make false claims. They claimed my roof was sinking when it was not. They did a repair that broke after two weeks and refused to even come and look it it. I had to get another contractor to redo all their work.

I had two apartments painted and major repairs done by AGC Inc. Being a landlord living across country, I needed a professional, trustworthy and responsive company to work with. Moe (the owner), understood what I needed and provided excellent service at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this company.

Mo was great! He helped get a renovation in our co-op back on track and did an excellent job re-doing our bathroom and kitchen, re-did floors, and an alteration in bedroom. Very responsive, addressed all issues and was able to work within the rules of our co-op without a problem. He never made a big deal with any adjustments. Highly recommend him.

Mohammad and team did some work for me insulating and sealing up drywall in my living room that was needed after some rain storm damage. The end result looks great, in fact better than before the wall was opened. Great communication and a fair price. I would definitely recommend and am looking forward to using AGC on some kitchen work too

I would like to start off by saying that in this establishment you get the most “bang for your buck.” I was referred to this contracting company from a close family that also had major renovations done. The workers there are impeccable. Mohammed Alam is by far the most honest, hard working individual. He always kept in touch with me on every step of the way. I recently had some home renovations which included roofing, tiling, and a full bathroom renovation. I absolutely fell in love with the end result. I received an exceptional offer that I was very pleased with. It almost seemed too good to be true! The workers are very friendly, reliable, and they did a hell of a job in a fairly short time period. They were dedicated to the job and made me feel at home with their mannerisms. I will most definitely be referring this establishment to anyone that needs any type of renovations done. Absolutely terrific job!

Work performed by Alam General Contracting has been very professionally done. The team works strategically and efficiently. Work was done on the ceiling and boiler room as well as the roof. They are organized, arrive on time, keep the job site clean and tidy and they really know what needs to be done in the most efficient and effective manner. If you are interested in them , I recommend them 100%.
I am forever grateful for their hard work and expertise in repairing the building. Many thanks to them !

I looked around for a couple of contractors to fix my roof before hiring Alam General Contracting. My roof was extremely damaged, it had 3 layers of existing rubber roof that wasn’t fixed for years, they stripped it down completely to the plywood and gave me a brand new roof! When I saw this quality work, I extended my contract with them and asked them to do interior work as well. Very satisfied, would definitely recommend them for all of your home improvement needs!

My aunt has a 70 year old house that had serious roof leaks that caused damage to the second, and first floor respectively. The house suffered so much water damage that the walls and ceiling paint had peeled. The wood had deteriorated into being waterlogged. I called a few companies to ask questions, as I had done research to see what those companies had to offer but I was not satisfied. I spoke to a relative and she referred me to Alam General Construction. I called Mohammad Alam, told him the issue and that he came highly recommended. After about 5 phone calls between us , I decided that Alam General Construction was "The One"! Well, Moe and his crew did were great. They cleaned up behind themselves. They were honest, dependable, respectful and professional. Outstanding service and a fair price. Alam General Construction will be my recommendation to anyone that needs an (attention to detail) company.

Looking for the right contractor is always a tiring process. I was highly satisfied with Alam General Contracting Inc. Moe is professional, courteous, and extremely reliable. In other words, Moe has a great eye for detail. I highly value honesty from the people I hire, and Moe did not disappoint me in the least. He is up front and informative. There were no surprises. All of his workers share the same values and professionalism. It was easy to welcome them into my home.

Alam was great we had called him to do get some paint work done and redo our flooring for my second floor after my old tenants left and all I can say is they were the best. They arrived on time everyday around 8am did the job quick and efficiently. Moe was also a great guy very respectful and knows what he’s doing. We were a little skeptical at first but if you need the job done right this is your guy. Referred him to my friends and family as well and you guys should too.
