It’s a bummer to be writing this, I really got along with Al, but he never finished the job. Has been telling me for 18 months he is going to come back and finish, but clearly he’s not going to.

After being ghosted by a couple contractors who just stopped responding, we found ACR through searching around online and we are very glad we did. Al was super responsive, professional, thorough, and answered all of our questions. He was able to schedule us in quickly. Al's guys were professional and fixed what we needed. I would definitely recommend ACR!

After a month of negative experiences with a few “contractors”, I finally found ACR Pro Contractors. Prior to the job, Al, the owner of the company, took time to talk to me, review schematics, ask pertinent and thorough questions, so that he could give a fair estimate (in writing). I truly appreciated that! Within a few days, I decided to hire them to install my brand new cabinets, re-place base boards and assist with a new range. I’m extremely happy with the result of their work! On the scheduled day of the job, a uniformed team of three professional contractors arrived on time, with protective masks. Prior to using any tools, they secured the entrance of the work space with plastic and covered floors/light fixtures. The contractors worked cohesively, efficiently and were great with attention to detail. They are definitely skilled professionals and I wish that I had found them sooner. Al and his team are the best all around! I couldn’t be happier with their work, honesty, and professionalism. I’ve dealt with other contractors who did horrible work and ACR came in and got the job done. I am a customer for life and would recommend ACR to anyone who needs a contractor. Al knows what he is doing, is good at doing his job and a great guy to work with. Anyone who uses their services will not be disappointed.

ACR was a referral from a friend. Al and his team were very professional, detail oriented and finished the job one-time. They installed framing for doors and windows as well and vinyl flooring for a rental property. They aren't cheap but you can feel secure that it will be done right the first time. I would use ACR again in the future and recommend them to others.

I recently purchased my first apartment and I needed to renovate the kitchen and paint the whole apartment. I purchased a Coop so any renovations had to be approved by the board. First rule on the renovation agreement was that the contractor had to the be fully licensed. I was having a very hard time finding a contractor that was fully licensed and had the insurance required by the board, luckily I found Al and his highly qualified team. Al literally held my hand through out the process as he knew I was a single woman and had no clue about renovations. I could not be more impressed by the quality of work and professionalism by Al and his team. They always arrived on time and cleaned up after themselves. They did a fantastic job and were able to meet my deadline as I had to move out of my rental by a certain date. I highly recommend ACR Pro Contractors and plan on using then again for my bathroom renovation.

This is our second time hiring ACR to do work in our house, and again, I could not be happier with the result. I could not give a stronger recommendation to anyone to hire ACR with no reservations.

We hired ACR to do a bathroom gut among some other jobs in our house. Al walked us through the whole job, listening to what we wanted and making suggestions where he had a better way of doing something. His estimates were itemized so we could pick and choose which parts of the job we wanted to prioritize in order to get as much of our dream project done while staying under budget. We were not able to do every single thing we wanted, but that was our budget and Al’s estimates made our decision making much easier.

The work began back in February with the demolition. From the beginning the ACR team was careful and considerate in their work, hanging plastic to contain the spread of demolition dust and keeping a clean work area. They even stored the bags of garbage on site in an effort to limit the number of times they needed to call the truck to haul away the garbage and saving me some money. Junior and Adam, among others, were on site every morning and showed an incredible work ethic in getting the job done.

Then the Pandemic hit, and while the largest parts of the job were complete, there was still about 30% of the job to complete. Al worked with us to create a safe working environment for his team and for our family, limited the number of workers on site and always sending the same people so as to limit their and our exposure. His team worked with masks on and other safety guidelines in place. Eventually the pandemic prevented them from finished the job as businesses closed down, but Al stayed in touch with me and as soon as those suppliers reopened and he could get what he needed, his team came back and finished the job.

Again, I could not recommend Al and ACR any more strongly. Their quality of work is excellent, and them being a small, locally owned, minority owned business is only icing on the cake.
