My 89 year old mother-in-law had a water pipe break on December 31, 2020. Over 1 inch of water throughout the entire basement. ServePro responded at 8pm on New Year's Eve and began the cleanup. Stayed for over 2 hours to remove all the water. Returned the next 2 days - Saturday (New Year's Day) & Sunday - to complete the cleanup. Absolutely great service.

I called Servpro of northwest Brooklyn for mold remediation. Robert and his team really know what they're doing. After getting rid of the mold they replaced the bottom 2 feet of sheetrock and painted. My basement walls came out perfectly thanks to their hard work and attention to detail. Great service. Much like a previous reviewer, ScrubbaD, I’ve had a terrible time getting Servpro to respond to my questions about the very vague estimate they finally sent me after I called three times asking where it was. The man who came to do the estimate was very professional and took lots of pictures (including some with a 3D camera) and he took measurements but NONE of that was reflected in the estimate I got which had no photos and no specifics as to how much of the water damaged ceiling needs replacing, no answers to the questions posed about whether the supporting beams they photographed need shoring up or repairs or repair. It was as if they didn’t even look at the materials they gathered or didn’t have anyone with any expertise look at the images and measurements or they lost it all. And then they just made up a vague proposal to repair an unspecified portion of the ceiling sheetrock. And when I asked these questions by phone and email several times they didn’t even return my calls or emails. So I’m not sure what we paid for exactly.

Amit and his crew went well above and beyond to get the job done neatly and in a timely manner. His work is superior and at completion looked better than the original. Can’t say enough about the job he and his workers did. Thank you to Amit and his staff!!

Had to use this company after the sewer backed up in my Brooklyn office. Called them at 8am and they had two techs on site before 9:30. Eric Gorovitz and Landell were professional and did a great job. I would highly recommend them and the company.

I had a foot of water in the basement during Hurricane Ida. Servpro, led by the production crew Avi Persaud came in to do the mold remediation. Avi did an excellent job in identifying the mold and managing the remediation. This was my first experience with mold and Avi was very patient with all my questions. He was professional at all times. I highly recommend Avi for your mold issues.

I reached out to Servpro at someone's recommendation to inspect a mold situation at my mother's home. The initial inspection seemed to go well, however, when I inquired about a follow-up to that inspection, I was told the person who inspected the home was no longer with the company and someone else would need to come out. After a period of time, another inspection was completed, however, after a month of email follow-ups, I have not received an analysis or report on the problem, nor have I received a response to my emails to the company.

In my last email to the representatives I explained that I understood that at times people are busy and they are unable to respond promptly or even emails are missed, but I am unable to explain why my emails have gone completely ignored.

The reason I am writing this review is because their website and representatives I've met claim that they are professionals, but that has not been my experience. For my situation, all I have to show is a debit of $150 from my checking account as a requirement for the inspection and nothing else.

Luckily I have had the necessary work conducted by another professional company, but I am sharing this experience with the community to encourage you to be aware that this lack of professionalism may happen to you. I hope it does not, but as they say, buyer beware.

As of December, I am updating my review to inform you that a Company representative reached out to me to apologize for the poor service I received. In addition, they refunded me the $150 service fee I was initially charged. I am hopeful that your experience, if you choose to work with them, is better than mine.

Avi was so patient with me as I am sure I asked several questions more then once from the trauma of having half my home flooded. The whole team was professional. Clean up after demo to dry walls was as if I had done it myself. Vacuumed as they drilled to minimize dust. And hand moped areas affected by work. Thank you team Servepro Brooklyn!
