We just completed a gut renovation of our living room, dining room, kitchen and basement with CNM Construction. They are pleasant, reliable and take pride in their work. Matteo and Vincente were here from demolition to completion. They cared about the smallest details and went above expectations. The finished result is just what we wanted. I would recommend this company to anyone doing renovations on their home.

I wish I could give C & M even more stars! My experience with Matt, Jose, Matteo and Juan (as well as everyone else working for them) could not have been better. C & M renovated an office space for me and they did an amazing job. They added new walls and doors (were even able to make them soundproof), new floors, a new bathroom, a new kitchenette, re-wired for a split system, painted, wallpapered, and more. Yes, this was a big project for me, renovating, furnishing, dealing with a co-op board, dealing with city and state offices, lots of stress to say the least.

But then there was Matt and the C & M team--ahhhh, stress-free: really!

Imagine a contractor that anticipates the next thing to be done; think of a small thing that you would like, and before you ask for it, it is done. Imagine a contractor who is honest, kind, thoughtful, really smart, professional, works clean, and is meticulous in the execution of everything. He was done before I thought he would be! No, it is not a dream: it is C & M.

Matt and his crew did an unbelievable job on our bathroom. They tore it down to the studs, took out the bathtub, and remade an ugly 1970s pink bathroom into a gorgeous new space. Matteo and Jose did beautiful work with the tiles, and they were just the nicest people to work with. They are so professional. Matt never makes you feel like you are bothering him or that your questions are dumb. He responds quickly to text and email. Just a great all around experience. Couldn't be happier.

Matt and his C @ M Construction crew rebuilt my bathroom practically from the scratch. It was untouched more or less since the building's conception in 1928. They did a fantastic job replacing pipes, walls and the floor. They removed the bath tub and built a beautiful shower. They installed all new fixtures and did electrical work. All in all they created a new bathroom. Matt was very easy to work with and his estimates and the budget were right on the money, no overcharges or overruns. The quality of the work is exceptionally good, great attention to detail. The whole experience was painless and pleasant (never thought I would use these adjectives describing a bathroom renovation). Matt is in demand so I had to wait for my turn, but it was well worth it. Highly recommended!!

We used C&M Construction for a basement renovation when our 2nd baby came into our lives. The family room became a nursery!

Matt and Matteo were both tremendous! Always punctual and kept us informed on progress. They had great ideas on ways to maximize space, and get the best finish possible in the home. There's nothing they cannot do and are committed to the client to achieve 100% satisfaction.

They are honest too! If you find something, (unlikely) that they are not completely confident of completing well, they will tell you. For custom cupboards as an example, they can do basic storage but if you want anything more fancy, they don't want to do it. That said, they won't leave you hanging, Matt will find a reputable supplier that they have used many times before to do the work for you. And it always turns out great!

The end result is that we now have a beautiful basement that has room for our new baby boy. Everything matches the existing finishes, and it looks like it was always a part of the construction! Couldn't be happier.

Matt, Matteo, and Jose are amazing! They actually worked on our first apartment in 2011. And we are the lucky few that are repeat customers. They came back after 7 years and fixed some issues before the sale of that apartment. When we purchased our new apartment, we only had CNM Construction Inc. in mind. We bought the apartment in 2020, but we couldn’t renovate it until 2021 due to the pandemic. Matt's team was right there with us the entire time. They feel more close to family this renovation round, especially Matteo and Jose. This second home renovation was quite comprehensive and would take 6 months to complete. We moved walls, tore pipes, floors, put up walls, and rebuilt the entire apartment from its shells. This home was a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom gut job that became a 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom renovation.

Matt and Matteo were meticulous about communicating every step of the project since we went out of town for 3 months.They are excellent about returning phone calls, listening to your concerns, and giving helpful suggestions of what to steer clear of. It is quite rare where you talk to one person on a team and the other member (who you didn’t talk to) already is aware of the communication. That speaks to their professionalism. There are so many details that go into a home renovation and that really helped make the experience stronger.

There were some supply chain problems due to the pandemic, but they were great about being flexible and working around the issues. We did work with some vendors that Matt recommended and they were amazing as well. Matt is very careful who he will recommend and work with. We chose Matt’s team many years ago because they were listening to what home we wanted to create, we didn’t feel like the other contractor’s were listening to our vision. These guys are spectacular in creating a home that is for you!

Matt and his team did an AMAZING job. They provided all services to rip out the old and renovate an entire 100+ year-old apartment. The quality of the work was phenomenal! It was a bit pricey compared to some other quotes I received, but the attention to detail, the quick and responsive communication, and the professionalism of the crew, made it well-worth the price paid. Also, Matt was up front about EVERYTHING. All costs were laid out, in detail, from the onset. We had a few unexpected projects pop up (which was to be expected from an old house), but they were addressed immediately and efficiently. I would highly recommend C&M for your renovation project. You will not be disappointed.

As someone who can skeptical of handyman jobs in homes, this company earned my trust and my business. Not only did they assist in fixing various problems in my residence, they worked with me every step of the way and did everything possible with professionalism and care. We are very happy after gut renovating our bathroom with CNM Construction. It was an absolute pleasure every step of the way, from the first conversation with Matt to adding the last details with Vincente and Jose. At no point, for any reason, did we feel rushed or that they were being pushy about anything. The reviews are true, absolutely amazing in every way. We are very happy customers enjoying a beautifully executed bathroom renovation.
