I initially wrote a good review for this company when I used their services 4 months ago. I needed more work done and asked for a licensed electrician. They assured me their electricians are licensed and promised to send me proof. Guess what? No proof was sent. Instead I get a call from an electrician from another company that I did not call. I was confused by this, so I called RM1 to find out if they are subcontracting work to other companies. The woman who answered the phone was unable to clarify. Instead she said her "system" was loading and she would call me back. Well, more than an hour later, no call back. I called again and asked if they subcontract to other electricians. She hung up on me. I called 2 more times and she hung up as soon as she heard my voice and then she blocked my calls. This is CRAZY!! So I called back on a landline, I tell her I am a customer who has booked work with them and I'm really annoyed that she hung up on me when I asked if they subcontracted out work to another electrician. Guess what? This woman hung up on me AGAIN!! This is shady, disrespectful and unprofessional. And clearly they do not want my business. They advertise as a local ELECTRICAL company and they use a St. Albans address. They are not local and this is LEAD GENERATION COMPANY using a proxy address - they subcontract out to other electricians, but they do not make this clear to us - their customers. I consider this DECEPTIVE AND PREDATORY BUSINESS PRACTICE. If you have nothing to hide, be honest about your service. With so many house fires happening, it's important to get proof that qualified people are doing electrical work and it's imperative that we know WHO WE ARE DOING BUSINESS WITH in case of issues down the line. If I call RM1 Electrician, I am expecting an RM1 employee to show up, not a random electrician from a company I have not researched. Stay away from this company and always ask for a licensed and insured electrician and proof of it.

I had an appointment scheduled between 3-5pm and didn’t hear anything from them until I called the office. I waited until 6 and then asked them to schedule me for the following day from 10-12pm. Again, nobody showed and I had to call the office multiple times to check in before they said he wasn’t available until Sunday. I waited a total of 6-7 hours for someone who didn’t have the courtesy to show. Hope this helps anyone who’s looking for a reliable electrician!

Absolutely outstanding service! I recently had an issue with my home's electrical system and called this electrician based on strong recommendations. From the initial call to the final repair, their professionalism and expertise were evident.

The guy who answered told me he was local to Bedstuy, and gave me price per hour. His team came and did the job and worked 2-hours total. He charged me for each of the electricians to travel over an hour to Bedstuy each way, and the electricians lied to him and quoted times they were not working. Honestly feel entirely scammed by this company.
