Great place! They have a lot of very pretty plants, both indoor and outdoor and the employees are very friendly

All the plants purchased did not last the season. They told me free delivery and then regene. I spend over three hundred dollars.

I have been completely ignored by this Company. Mr. Edward came to my home, by appointment, in order to provide me with an estimate for an idea/plan for my front yard. Everything ( so I thought would be fine). I waited for Mr. Edward's reply/estimate. However, I never received any reply even after I made numerous calls to simply find out the status of my estimate. I had no problem being patient, but to be
totally ignored is unacceptable and unprofessional. My appointment was in mid April, it is now May 16 and I still have not received a single returned call. In my most recent attempt to get a response about my estimate I felt that I was rushed off the phone. I was told that they are "very busy." I can even understand a business being busy this time of year. However, that has nothing to do with treating potential customers with respect by handling them in a professional and courteous manner. Not to mention a timely reply. Also, I live in the same community and zip code of the business. It's sad and unfortunate to be treated in such a poor manner. I hope others will not be ignored like we were.

Welcome to the neighborhood! What a gem of a space. I felt like I had stumbled upon a mini getaway...lush oasis setup. So glad I found this when I did a google search for a plant shop near me. Definitely recommend to check them out!

One of the most wonderful and magical places we have been. We had two amazing celebrations in this space! The owners are fantastic and very helpful. We can highly recommend this place for getting plants, having celebrations, and more! Thank you Ed and Irene.

I came to their garden center because they have a great selection - I was happy to find some plants I was going to pick up at The Sill, but wanting to spend local I came here. I spent $300 on a selection of plants I assumed were healthy. I brought them home and within 2 weeks I noticed they were infested with pests! Thank GOD none of my plants ever touch, but can you imagine if my entire stock would have been infested? One plant had spider mites, and the other had scale - look them up, they are incredibly hard to completely eradicate! I've gone through a month of quarantining the plants and treating them every couple of days to no avail - I'll likely have to pitch them, and my hard earned money at that. I decided to spend some of my money during quarantine on some joy, and it's become a nightmare. The worst part is I reached out to them and got no response.

Disgraceful and unprofessional. They are not selling healthy plants! If you want to bring home pests that will eradicate your entire stock of plants, then shop here. You've been warned.

Bought a small plant, gave it a couple of day before repotting, find out was a bunch of dirt not plant/roots paid $25!!!. Home Depot or Ikea will sell you better plants. Trying to support local businesses but this was absolutely disappointing.

    I love this Space!!!
This place is a magical oasis garden in the urban city. Well curated high quality selections of plants, they are incredibly healthy and has beautiful foliage. You can usually find exotic plants that you can't find at other shops. The shop keeper and staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgable. Great Space and beautiful plants! They love my dog, which is an extra bonus!

You know that thing where you're walking in a desert and you see what looks like a magical lush oasis ahead, and you're like, "that can't be real. That can't actually be real."? That's this place. A dream, gorgeous selection, wonderful staff who are legit excited to help you and repot your goods, and the prices can't be beat. If there's a catch I haven't found it yet. Welcome to the hood, Outside Space - thank you for being here!

This place is awesome!! Its perfect for any novice outdoor gardener who isn’t sure what plants can grow in NYC (zone 7b)- they have tons of perennials in the outside space, generally organized by light needs (it seemed like mostly part shade and full sun), and there was a section for herbs as well as an indoor space.

This is amazing garden center with harder to find plants that are healthy and take care of. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. The whole place from design to selection is curated really well. Bottom line: best garden center I’ve found in Brooklyn. Night and day from my exp at Natty Garden

Amazing local garden center with beautiful display landscaping. They often have a few unusual plants in stock.

Today, I finally found *Thai* Basil seedlings there while everyone else just carries common Italian Basil. Excited!

We loved working with Krissie and her crew. Krissie was able to bring an abandoned backyard to full beautiful life, with knowledge of plants that can thrive in our environment and also help with mosquito control.

I reached out to Krissy at BK Bumpkin on email and she promptly responded and scheduled time with me. She is professional and extremely knowledgeable. She knew exactly what needed to be done, followed up with an estimate and scheduled a full day to design, plant and move the current plants to the areas of my garden where they would thrive. She did the entire job herself and I now have gorgeous English style garden with flowering plants and shrubs all perfectly placed. She weeded and trimmed existing plants and left the place immaculate. Krissy was thoughtful about coming in and out of my house too—making sure not to spill dirt or leaves. I HIGHLY recommend her and look forward to having her maintain and plant a tree in the garden. She’s also a lovely person—a bonus.

I’ve worked with Krissie now on three separate occasions and it is always a true joy! I initially explained exactly what I was looking to do to my garden and she made it happen with ease and flexibility. She is super knowledgeable about all things plants and has a great instinct for design. I won’t work with anyone else to maintain my garden, she’s a miracle worker!

Krissie is lovely and great to work with. Everything she planted has been doing great. She gave the garden beautiful structure and her fee included a generous amount of plantings. She was also really fast and a great communicator. Thanks, Bumpkin!

Our family has worked with BK Bumpkin for about three years now. They gave us a beautiful, creative, and colorful backyard! Krissie is great to work with: she's responsive, asks great questions, and is very good at combining your personal style with her expert know-how.
