Landscaping reviews in Brooklyn, New York

Convenient! I got some pretty flowers for my shop. However I brought the orange & lemon plants and have yet to see the fruit, but it's pretty :)
-
I've been here few times in the past 2 years, usually to get gardening supplies. I can't recommend Shane and Rob (garden dept) enough. Lovely, helpful and knowledgeable guys.

Lights shut off for some reason. Was hard to see what I was looking for, which cause me to buy a plant pot that had a hugh cracking in it. Good thing I found it before I pulled off but now I have to wait on the customer service line to replace something that I could of avoided if the lights were on.

I've been coming to this location for over 10 years, the service and the knowledge of the employees is impeccable. From the garden department, flooring, and paint department they are always helpful. I've been I there so much they make me feel so welcomed

Pretty nice store staff are aright I've had no problems with them wish they had a better plant section

No one working at ALL in Christmas tree section or nursery. People are trying to get help no one ever came in 20 minutes. Chainsaws left on ground no one is there. Husband had to carry tree himself all the way to cashiers indoors. No one working at all in nursery. So many people are angry and waiting. It's unbelievable how a business can stay alive with so many malfunctions.

Bought a small potted Christmas tree here a couple of years ago that immediately started to die even though I was taking proper care of it. On closer inspection realized this poor living tree had been SPRAY PAINTED to make it look a darker color. In reality it was a Norfolk pine painted to look like a traditional Christmas pine tree. Wow. After giving the pine tree a sponge bath it eventually survived and thrived, but talk about irresponsible business practice!

Large selection of plants and bushes. They don't take the best care of the plants, they get stuck out in the sun too long sometimes but there's so many options to choose from I can usually always find a healthy plant. Large selection of garden tools and soils, mulches, patio tiles, etc. Also much better selection than the other Brooklyn Home Depot department, especially for vegetable and herb plants, but flowers too.

as a general rule this is a pretty terrible place- disinterested staff standing around just talking or actively avoiding people but today there was actually a guy being helpful. wish i had his name for this review. anyway the place is insane, so many things I need blocked off, long lines and generally terrible staff, just one good staff member today- i was impressed by that. The garden area needs fixing though, you can't get to anything and it's about planting time. One star for everything else in the shop

This is the worst home depot I have ever been in. I have experienced it's worsening service since it opened. The parking lot is chaotic and u safe, the service is su standard and the selection is less robust than other stores. They lack the staff to manage the operation during busy times and no one seems to be incharge. I came today, Monday, to shop and the parking lot is a mess. The entrance by the garden center is closed and unstaffed, even though there are items for sale right outside the door. I am heading to Lowes and will be shopping more locally.

Home Depot has officially opened their garden center for Spring. They have a broad range of plants and flowers to start your summer garden. Currently having a sale on garden soil..4 bags for $10. Also, a sale on orchid plants-1/2 price

The worst Home Depot ! Just cross the ave and shop at Loews u wont believe ur in the same country as Home Depot across the street
-
Great place for Christmas trees... They are super helpful trimming it and getting on your car.
-
Not as full on supply as other home depot's, and Lowes outside of Brooklyn but I guess that's a city thing
-
Unfortunately appalling customer service.

Way better than the Lowe's across the street. Things are usually where they are supposed to be. Use the smartphone app to navigate.
