Highly recommended. I had a tree come down in the backyard of a rental property. Only way in and out was through the apartment of some very touchy tenants. Joe responded to my voicemail within half an hour; he personally came by for an appraisal the next day. When he saw the work he decided his crew could handle it that afternoon... and they did. Polite, courteous and professional, they had the tree cut-up and cleared out of there in less than two-hours and there was not a spot of dirt in the apartment. Fair price too. Thank you Joe! Helped me out of a bind.

Highly recommend! Joe and his team were professional, fairly priced, and left our backyard and home clean after the job. Removed 4 large limbs from a 50ft tree with a 6-person crew. Half day job. Pleasure to work with them and will call them again if we need anything! Thanks, Joe!

If i could give more than 5 stars I would ! Joe and his crew were very professional and quick. Unfortunately i had a tree that i thought was going to fall through the house and I tried calling other places before i found them and they all were so expensive but Tarzan tree removal gave me the best price and came the next day after I called for them to come by . They ended taking the tree down without a hassle and took the worry right out of my hands! I was so lucky to find a company that was quick easy and with great pricing ! Would recommend to anyone with tree problems do not hesitate to call they will get the work done the crew is great !

Purchased firewood from them. They assured me it was properly aged and seasoned, and it was not seasoned and would not burn. They refuse to pick it up and replace it. It was also all soft wood. I had to pay someone to get rid of it and pay again to get decent firewood.

Tarzan Tree removal was in The neighborhood. I asked him to take down a 3 small branches touching my aunt's house. I talked him down to $100. It took him under five minutes and he didn't even need to climb a ladder. He refused to cut the branches down to smaller pieces once removed which would have taken no time at all and left the branches here. He wanted to charge us an extra $100 to haul the branches out. There is no way my 81-year-old aunt can take of this on her own. I live in South carolina and have no car here to help here. He really left her in a lurch.

Outstanding to work with. They are priced very competitive and we recommend them to others.

UNPROFESSIONAL, DISHONEST BUSINESS.

We hired Tarzan Tree Removal to cut a few trees in our property. One of the tree was quite tall and there were a lot of cables running through the branches. The team was not professional when cutting the branches that tangled with cables, and guess what happened-- as they threw the cut branches down to the floor, the heavy branches pulled the cables that were fixed onto the siding, and yanked a section of our siding off (you can see attached photos for the damage). Our neighbor's cables were also messed up and caused big inconvenience to them.

When we pointed out the damages to Joe, he said he did not have a long ladder with him that day (came unprepared for the job), and promised that he will come back to fix both the cables and the damaged siding for us. Naive of us to trust his words and paid him in full. Of course, Joe made multiple empty promises and finally did not reply messages or answer phone calls, and NEVER CAME BACK to fix the damages that they created.

We now have to pay out of our pocket to hire someone to fix the siding, and also have to go through the hassles to help our neighbor get their cables back to service.

It is such a disgrace that people chose to run business in such a dishonest and unethical way. Piece of advice to you Joe-- Companies that do not stand behind their service will not go far. We may lose some money dealing with you this time, but you have lost your reputation and trust from your customers.

I would not recommend this company to anyone.

A very big thank to joe and his team really they did a nice job and they were above and beyond, they make an estimated right away when you send the details and their prices as the best in the city I definitely recommend them..

Excellent service, Joe and his crew showed up on time and quickly removed a problem tree in our yard. This tree was leaning over the utility wires and into the neighbor's yards. They manged to cut all the limbs and remove them without having to get into the neighbor's yards.

I hired Tarzan to cut down a tree in my backyard. They did a good job, but left the stump. They also broke one of the steps in my basement. Of course they were paid before I noticed. I even tipped the crew well since it was around the holidays. When I contacted Joe, he gave me the runaround and eventually stopped answering my calls or responding to texts. I was also promised a receipt that I never got. I'll never use this service again.

I hired this company back in May 2025 to remove a large tree from my backyard. We paid them $7,000 — a wildly overpriced amount — but because they did a good job for us in 2022, we trusted them again. That trust was a huge mistake.

It is now three months later and my yard is still in complete despair. The owner, Joe, specifically agreed to also remove the stump, and yet it still sits rotting in my backyard. Because of this, weeds have overtaken the space and my family hasn’t been able to enjoy our backyard the entire summer.

I have called, texted, and left voicemails multiple times. Joe occasionally responds just enough to string me along, then disappears to chase new projects and new customers’ money, while completely ignoring the work I already paid him for. His behavior is unprofessional, dishonest, and absolutely disgraceful.

At this point, I’ve contacted officials, reported the company, and my attorney will be handling this matter moving forward.

Save yourself the money, time, and stress — this company will scam you, waste your summer, and leave your yard in worse condition than before.

Tarzan tree removal has very reliable, punctual, professional, and friendly group of staff. I am very pleased and impressed with how they removed my rotten “monster” tree in the backyard. I was very nervous at first due to the tree size and limited space they had to work with, but they handled it very well! I would definitely recommend them!!!

Can’t speak to their tree services but two men were driving down my street and catcalled me from their truck. So gross and unprofessional. Should keep that in mind when deciding whether to hire this business

Their service was exceptional; had a little hiccup w appointment however, Joe sorted things out straight away. Reasonable pricing is a plus.
