I needed an outdated box replaced for my solar panels which were no longer getting any signal from the box. They came when the weather allowed and replaced the box and cleaned up in a very reasonable time. The panels are getting a strong signal and my bills have dropped by more than half immediately.

I have had a love- hate relationship with my Solor panels since they were installed in 2018 I was an early Solor panel converter. Another company installed them I poured a lot of money initially assuming I would save in the long run. Then I had problems. The company I used went belly up. I had no support. I then regretted installing them. Then major problem occurred last fall. My roof was leaking where my Solor panels were. I reached out to another company who would only communicate w me via e mail whenever they felt like it- not timely. I didn’t know about VSG, I was at this other company’s mercy. Water was coming in my kitchen. I was really struggling. And then, I somehow contacted VSG power. Immediate response, explanations, understanding, cooperative. Customer service took my concerns and guarded attitude very seriously, not only by words, but by actions. They helped me get e reputable roofer familiar with Solor panels and I have a new roof with the panels reinstalled generating electricity for my very solidly built home. I was duped many times before, since 2018 with my investment. Now, when my neighbors are complaining about their electricity costs I’m expressing gratitude for VSG power. I could not ask for a quicker response in getting my panels, probably working like never before. I probably spent a little more for all the work since this past Fall, but my peace of mind is priceless, with the roof, Five Star and VSG power. Did I say “ integrity”. They show it. Thanks VSG power. I am living safely and soundly as I had planned in 2018, finally!🙂

A couple of years ago I used them to replace the inverter for my mother‘s Solar Panels. The cost was reasonable for the labor since the parts were under warranty and I would definitely use them again. Other representatives from their company were at the regional home show and they were very informative and very helpful. When I am able to do so, I will post photos of the work they did.

Kyle and his team are very courteous, answered all my questions, and most importantly very professional. They are just down to earth guys not selling for some corporation. After my first impression talking with Daniel I was sold. They speak to you like a friend. I couldn’t send my forms through email and Penn personally came to my home to help me out. Great guys!!!!! So glad I didn’t go with those big corporations. I highly recommend VSG Power!!!

Customer service was polite and went out of their way to ensure confidence in their work. Follow up assurance after the work was completed was a nice aspect of their business.

Thanks to Kyle and the crew of VSG Power for the outstanding install of our Briggs& Stratton stand by generator. Their workmanship and attention to detail was spot on. They were very thorough in answering any questions, as well as, explaining the operation of the unit. Very satisfied.

VSG did an excellent job keeping me in the loop with the process of removing the panels reinstalling the panels after the reroofing of the house. Reviewed different options with me when I inquired adding additional panels. Their quote for the new panels had a payback time frame that agreed with my calculation. They took extreme care to protect the new gutters and roof. They did a great job cleaning up after both removal and reinstall. Very professional with the process. Would use them again for any solar, electrical projects.

This year, during the week of April 13th, 2025, VSG Power Inc. installed an additional ground-mounted 6.24 kW Silfab Bi-Facial solar array at my home. These guys truly know what they’re doing—their work is professionally hand-crafted and meticulous.

For this installation:

On Monday, April 14th, the equipment was delivered.

On Tuesday, April 15th, they dug the trench to bury the electrical cable to the house and began building the ground mount.

Despite a surprise snowfall in Buffalo, NY on Wednesday, April 16th, they pushed through and finished the job on Thursday, April 17th, around 4 pm. This included adding the panels to the ground mount and running the electrical cable to my 15k SolArk inverter.

My electricity was only off for about 30 minutes for the final connection. We were all smiles when the system went live. With my original 6.7 kW solar array on the roof and this new addition, I’m now seeing double the power generation. I can confidently power my EV and home without worrying about rising electricity costs from NYSEG.

Kyle is wonderful. He has been working on clean energy projects in our home for years from solar panels, to electrical panel upgrades, to electric car chargers. He is friendly, courteous, helpful and very knowledgeable. We are incredibly happy with all of the work he and VSG have done in our house. He has even taken the time to help me find reliable professionals to help with other issues and upgrades in my home. I'd recommend Kyle and VSG to anyone thinking about adding solar for your home, or needing help with an existing solar system!

I've had my off grid system for about 1 1/2 yrs. I've had a couple small issues that were resolved in a timely manner. The thing that amazes me is the fact I can ALWAYS get a hold of Kyle if an issue comes about and he send his ace electrician Ryan to handle the issue!! This is everything to me, service after the sale, thanks VSG, a happy customer will always be your best customer. Nobody will touch my system except VSG.

In late March of 2024 I started to look into have solar panels installed and I spoke with several companies. Unfortunately it felt like all the other companies were stringing me along and in some cases I felt they were just trying to sell me on a bunch of stuff I didn't need and then found out that the other companies were mostly just sales organizations who all used the same company (out of NYC/Long Island) to actually install the panels. After several months of getting nowhere I had a friend recommend VSG Power so I reached out, especially as I prefer to do business with locally owned businesses when I can.

I cannot say enough good things about the team at VSG. My experience with them was great from day one. I had done a lot of research and thought I had a good idea of what we needed but when Penn came out to look over the house/roof and discuss what we would need in a solar system his years of experience and knowledge was clear. We discussed various different configurations and options of panels, microinverters, power optimizers, battery backup, etc... Ultimately we agreed that for our location, the factors that could impact the system like shading, and most importantly our current and future needs we decided to go with the best value for our money and chose a solar system comprised of Silfab solar panels (they look great on our roof) and Tigo power optimizers.

Even after the installation they have been amazing with answer and addressing any questions or concerns that we have had. My only regret is that I did not know about them sooner!!

Went in looking for a short piece of wire. They sent me to their competitor who would cut a small piece to the length I needed instead of selling me a whole roll. Very honest business. Will use their services in the future
