Charged close to $400 for a simple service. A quick Google search would tell you it should cost a plumber $50-$150 for this service.
It was a shut off valve install to connect our existing 1/4” copper line with a braided water connector for our new fridge. The job consisted of the plumber retrieving a simple valve from a store (~$15 at Lowes) and spending 15mins putting it on (no torching involved). The plumber did not connect the braided cable we had and also took the 5 or 6ft of excess copper line he cut from behind our fridge with him. If I knew the cost up front I would have found alternatives to this costly service. Would not recommend.
