A few hiccups I was upset. I called to have the rest of the work completed this morning an older lady answered the phone who apparently was the one who dropped the ball and doesn’t know how to own up to her mistake and apologize. The only thing that she could do is criticize and exaggerate my reaction to work which I thought would be done differently. One customer loss no biggie, but no referrals and bad reviews...May be time to find more customer service friendly people answering the phones. Also the communication has to be better- if something doesn’t go as planned that can easily be explained prior to completing the work differently than expected so that questions don’t arise after the fact leaving the customer unsure work was completed correctly. Side note- not a good idea to put Verizon equipment into work van. It’s property of Verizon, not the employees to take when they are done.

The main circuit breaker in our house was corroded and we didn't know it - one afternoon we lost power to the whole house. My husband works from home so this was a major problem for us. We called late afternoon, they came out that same day with no additional charges. Bob was the electrician and he was very knowledgeable. He did the job quickly, equalling only one hour of labor and parts! Definitely recommend this company.

I've used Zacher for years for my business and home electrical repair. They always come out quickly, do a great job and are very reasonably priced. Today I called at 130 and they had an electrician to my home by 400. You don't get that kind of service anymore

I had Robert, the owner, come to my house for an estimate. I had an organized list of what need to be addressed. I had exterior and interior electrical needs. Literally almost every thing that I wanted performed seemed like it was too much for him to manage; i.e., he displayed absolutely no confidence in being able to perform electrical work. I am talking about simple stuff like installing a ceiling light fixture or installing
an outlet over a fireplace. He gave the impression that everything seemed very difficult to perform. Well, apparently my perception of his electrical inabilities was accurate. He never contacted me after the initial visit and never e-mailed (or mailed) me with an invoice/proposal. Upon calling his office 2 weeks later after not hearing from him I spoke to his secretary, left a message, and he still never put forth any effort to contact me. If you are not interested in the job or it exceeds your abilities, then be a professional and just say so. Don't waste my time by hiding from me or ignoring a potential customer. Poor business practices.

I would highly recommend Zachery for any electrical needs. I had a problem with a pool motor and they were at my home within about two hours. Repairs were done quickly and professionally. Awesome service, very professional, top notch services.

My experience began over a weekend when the business was closed. I did not have an emergency, just flickering lights. I reached out via the company's website figuring I would have to call on Monday anyway. I was pleasantly surprised with both an email and a friendly call on Monday. I spoke to an angel named Annette who listened carefully while I explained my issue and then asked appropriate questions. She scheduled an appointment at my convenience. That brought Matt to my residence. He diagnosed and fixed the problem professionally and quickly. He even replaced a faulty ceiling fixture for me. From start to finish, everything was positive. I have not seen the tiniest flicker since. Would I recommend them? You bet!

Just had our electric updated by this company and they were AWESOME, Kevin and Mike were very professional and knowledgeable about what they were doing and kept us updated on what they were doing, Andrea Boivin and her husband will definitely refer them to everyone and we will definitely call them ourselves to do any additional work on our home, thank you guys so much for the great job and the pleasant experience, of taking care of us, two thumbs up!!

Issue started late at night and I couldn't figure it out and was worried about safety, so I called hoping to leave a message and I was able to do so. (There is also an option for emergencies 24/7 fyi.) The following morning I received a call early and they were able to come out the same day which I was super happy about. The issue was discovered and repaired, made safe and while he was here he was able to fix another issue I was concerned about as well. I am happy about my experience with this company start to finish.

Called Zacher Electric to install hot tub. Electrician Mike came to our home smiling and on time. His level of service was excellent. He had a very difficult job to do, crawling under a very small crawl space under the addition of our house in order to have the install comply with very stringent town codes. When he left he was physically exhausted but still smiling. We got compliments from the hot tub company the next day on the quality of the install. Highly recommend Mike with Zacher.

These guys show up FAST when you need them. They've saved our butts more times than I can count when we were remodeling and moving equipment around and needed to keep things running. Their people are reliable, polite and thoughtful -- I never worry about them doing work in areas where we have people still working at their desks. They are aware of putting our business first and never just turn off breakers without asking. They always leave the electrical system better than they found it by consolidating, cleaning out dead lines, simplifying runs and making things more efficient. They are on time, on-spec and on budget - every time. Their prices are reasonable and they tell you up front so there are no surprises.

I'm actually kinda worried about posting this because when everyone finds out how amazing they are, I'll probably have to wait in line!!! LOL

Actually - since Zacher puts customer service first, that probably won't ever happen either. We've been using their services for more than a decade and I recommend them to anyone who needs commercial or residential electrical work done.

I called multiple times about a problem with my breakers after another electrical contractor told me I should get new service. Meaning that I could replace the box and breakers or just replace the mains which were two 50 amp breakers.
He was supposed to get back to me but he didn’t. Probably because he is a relative who told me he wasn’t doing family jobs anymore.

So I called Zacher Electric and explained the situation expecting to hear back from someone. It never happened and I called again add again. Each time the office left the impression that they screen calls to the extreme. They did. And they never once stated or indicated they were not going to get back to me. They did say they would pass it along. No one ever called me to schedule or ask for more information if that’ was the issue for not getting back to me.

Here’s the thing, the two women I spoke to were kind of obnoxious because they acted like know-it-alls . But I was courteous and patient , while hoping and expecting to get an appointment scheduled.

Today I called back on another phone and asked to speak to the office manager. I was transferred to the woman I spoke to yesterday. She said she was Pat.

I told her I needed help but hadn’t been contacted by anyone, especially an electrician. She replied that they don’t do repairs. I asked ; How did she know what was needed without having someone look at the job first ?

She became defensive and repeated they didn’t do repairs. What a very controlling person she is. I told her I was prepared to get all new service if that’s what is needed but why would I want to do business with them when they assume an awful lot and don’t return calls. I finally hung up because she tried to say I wouldn’t let her explain. Explain what?

I can’t believe how much effort I put into trying to set up an appointment but was jerked around by the overbearing call screening office manager. I would never recommend this business for anything unless you like getting the run around.

I had to have a new electrical panel installed, all of my electrical outlets, switches, and lights needed to have purple connectors installed. Since I had to have all that work done, I had some lights replaced and upgraded, some cable and internet outlets installed, fire alarms upgraded and some custom zoned lights with switches in the basement.

I got an amazingly affordable price and since the owner is also a volunteer fireman, I know the safety concerns were all addressed top notch.

The crew was very smart, very personable, prompt, communicative and friendly. They did an amazing job and if I ever need any electrical work done on my house it will be Zacher Electric. They'll always be my top recommendation.

I was a first time customer, just moved to NY. Power went off in half my house around noon time. Our condo maintenance man recommended Zacher. Zacher said they would try to fit me in by the end of the day. They arrived about 3:00PM, repaired and upgraded my electrical box and we're gone by 3:45pm. Couldn't have been any nicer or more professional. The problem was solved and the charge was very reasonable. They could have over charged me but they didn't. Zacher is my new electrician.

We had an amazing experience with Zacher and we hope to have them back again soon for some more items on my to-do list. Both the quote process and the actual work were positive experiences. We had gotten a few quotes from other electricians but Zacher had a good price and we felt they were the most honest and professional. We liked that they gave us several options to best fit our budget & preferences. Even scheduling the work with their office was pleasant - Annette was kind and easy to work with. John and Mike did the electric work and they did an absolutely outstanding job. They installed 6 recess lights in our living room, and they put in a new sub panel and wired up our hot tub for us. They were friendly and respectful, and they work is high quality. They seemed to truly want to make sure we were getting exactly what we needed - they did not seem to rush to "just get it done." They wanted to get it done RIGHT! For example, they could have just installed the recess lighting and called it a day, but they asked if we wanted a dimmer switch as well (which I did but had forgotten to ask). They also made sure the recess lights were lined up perfectly the way I wanted. They have great attention to detail, and I will call them as soon as I'm ready for the new few projects!

I had Michael from Zacher come by after the estimate was done. Great work! Rough wired in my bathroom, removed electric from another room for me.
I am very pleased with the turnaround from estimate to the job being done.

Very friendly electricians each time...pretty thorough...and the customer service at their office was responsive and helpful.

It took a few tries to resolve the issue...thought it might be a breaker, but it turned out to be that my oven is 35 years old...even a new breaker would get thrown once the oven was turned on.

I am just guessing, but it's possible the oven electronics got permanently fried-whacked when Generac did their annual check of my gas generator...Next time I may have Generac throw most of my breakers before shutting it all down and turning the power on, again)...

I recommend Zacher and will use them again...

Best experience I’ve had with an electrician, quite possibly most positive experience I’ve had with any contractor. The quote was reasonable and the work was extremely professional and detail oriented. Kevin did an outstanding job on my service upgrade. I wouldn’t feel the need to quote anywhere else.

So impressed with Zacher. First off when I called to make an appointment they couldn’t get me in for 2 weeks so I said I would call another company. Within 5 min they called me back and had reworked their schedule and someone was able to come the next day. Adam the electrician was professional, knowledgeable and very HELPFUL. The electricity had gone out in my garage and I couldn’t use my garage door opener. He was able to reset the fuse, and even hooked my door back up to the opener. Would definitely recommend them! And also thank you to the women in the office

Zacher Electric is among the most professional of tradespersons in the Buffalo Area. We have used them for over 5 years. Each and every person that has helped us has been outstanding in knowledge, professionalism, and manners. When we have had a problem, it has been urgent, at times, and they have come that day. Theirwork is outstanding, and they always go the extra mile. Our first work was with Jesse, during the pandemic - he made sure everything was done, that day - and gave us great advice for the future. Then, we have worked with Eric 3 times - and, I didn't believe anyone could be as great as Jesse, but, he was just as thorough and curious to solve our problem. Recently, we met Kevin - and again, he was just as knowledgeable, helpful, prompt, and professional. He had even dialogued with another team to ensure he could solve the problem that day.
I find the people at Zacher are so well-trained. I would recommend any young person work here. Finally, I would like to compliment Lisa, in their office administration - she always makes sure things happen right, and in a timely fashion. She follows-up and is so professional. And, I really can't believe that we have gotten a call from the firms' owner, on a holiday weekend, to make sure things were going well! If you are looking for a firm with 'old-school' committment, dedication, and manners, the people at Zacher Electric make that a reality.

I had a large amount of electric work completed over the span of 2 days. (Service upgrade, new panel, car charger installation, new meter and line run outside, new interior lighting, multiple ceiling fan installation, running new outlets, etc. to name a few)
Michael came out each day, as well as 1-2 others, all did great work, very thorough, answered any question(s) I had, would double check on placement and verified everything. Price for the work was more than fair, I would absolutely recommend and utilize Zacher in the future.

Outstanding. Mike arrived right on time, diagnosed the issues and offered several solutions. The work was completed on time, professionally and at a very fair price. Office staff, friendly and always called back, especially helpful because I live in Nevada and the work was being done in North Tonawanda. Highly recommend.
