I came to buy an extension for a T - valve. The person was very dismissive, not helpful at all. Instead of giving me the proper orientation, he threw me a few options saying you do whatever you want. I left the place very frustrated.

My husband took out a super old diverter stem that was causing our shower to leak and our water bill to be super high and then gave the part to me to do all of the dirty work on finding this rare part. Took me 4 days!* by the way.
We went everywhere, Home Depot, Kent's supply house, Consolidated, Best plumbing, New York replacement parts i believe its called and then finally new york replacement parts told me head over to faucet works and so i did.
First off let me just say NOBODY knew what this freaking part was besides that its a diverter.

Finally i got to Faucet Works, lets start with cons then PROS.

CONS - Had to wait a little while because there was about 3 other people in front of me at the counter and there was only one person at that moment.
(Wait Time ... About 8 minutes)

PROS - The second i got up to the counter the guy named john, or Julius I'm not to sure his name new exactly what it was, pulled the part out for me in a matter of 30 seconds. Turned out to be a 40+ year old diverter from a company called crane.
PROS - The person new exactly what the part was just by looking at it for a half of second.
PROS - From the moment i got to the counter i was only in the store for about 5 minutes.
PROS - The store is very modern, they have granite counter tops and just in general, It doesn't feel like your going into a 1920s store even though this place has 1920s parts all the way up to the present day.

Will i come back! DEFINITELY ;)

I just had a wonderful experience at a local plumbing supply store that was first class (mike) This will end my roaming at big box stores where no one knows the products they sell. They were polite , knowledgeable and a great time saver.If they were a restaurant I would give them 5 stars

Never again will I shop at this store. I was told on December 30, 2013 that I can pick up my faucet on December 31st. Being on vacation with my kids for a week this worked out well. I was told they would call me. Well the 31st came and went. No phone call. After the holiday I called on January 2nd. Still no faucet! I waited and waited. I called again Friday, January 3rd…still no faucet. I called again Saturday, January 4th. Guess what??? No faucet. I told the man I wanted to cancel the order as I will now have to go to Home Depot to pick up a faucet. I am a single mother, working a full time job with two young boys at home. . .I need my sink to work! Once I told the man on the phone I wanted to cancel, he then tells me that I would have to call back because the guy who placed the order wasn't there! I then asked for the owner/manager. I was told that was Frank but he was busy. He took my name and number and said Frank would call me back. Well, that was 12 o'clock on 1/4/14. It is now 3:30 on 1/4/14 and still no return phone call. I am beyond disgusted at that lack of customer service with this place. I will never EVER shop there again. I already called my credit card company to alert them. They have the charge flagged and said if the charge goes through they will dispute it. I am angry. That place was quick to tell me I can get my faucet and quick to charge it up.Yet the follow up is horrendous. And we're not talking a special order here. We're talking your basic kitchen faucet. Never again.

I've been trying to find the correct replacement for an old faucet for close to a year running from Home Depot to Lowe's to many other places no one knew what it was... I walked into the store pulled the fitting out of my pocket and from across the room the guy said hot or cold 😲. They know their business... WoW

My go-to guy is Julian, knows his stuff.
If you need a valve identified or repaired you must go to him. he goes out his way to find hard to get parts great services

These guys are the real deal. I had a broken kitchen faucet, and they took the time to look into the problem and provide a remedy until the hard to find piece came in. Went above and beyond what I was expecting in terms of service attentiveness and responsiveness. I am sure to go back for their service expertise and inventory options.

Sloppy incomplete work but insisted on price as though entire job was done. In good faith this is USA Plumbing is s business I can never recommend. When I called them about problems I did not receive a return call. The only comment made on arrival was that "plumbing is expensive. That wouldn't have been a problem if the job (1) was completed, (2) after completion it worked and (3) they returned to fix their work and price what was done, not take fees for failed and uncompleted work.

Worst customer service in my life!!! Purchased a tub spout for $35 for my parents, they didn't like the style, so I went back less then 24 hours later to return or exchange it.They told me since I installed it they would not take it back and return my money. They ascertained this information because a drop of water came out of it! The manager NEVER looked at the pristine condition of the tub spout I was returning but relied on his co-workers assumption!

These people are crooks and rip off artists...I look forward to the day they go out of business!

P.S. The customer service the day I made the purchase was atrocious! The person was rude, never made eye contact and didn't say thank you when giving me change!

Came in on Thursday and there was only one guy at the counter, i was looking for a contemporary kitchen faucet with a side spray in stainless steel and i was looking for a vanity.

The young gentleman showed me everything he had in stock and finally i had chosen he was very helpful in helping me pick the right faucet at a decent price. I then asked him about vanity's and he was totally honest with me saying '' he runs the parts department '' and doesn't have much experience with selling vanity's, then stated the salesman will be in on Saturday from 9-3, so i purchased my faucet with no hesitation and just came back in today which is Saturday and a man named frank helped me in purchasing a vanity he was so helpful and gave me wonderful discounts.

Faucet Works is the best plumbing supply store I’ve found in lower Westchester. Elvis, the man behind the counter, is knowledgeable, helpful, patient and courteous. I explained my problem to him, and he pulled the right parts off the shelf and made sure I knew how to assemble them. Of course, they have a larger assortment of plumbing parts than you’ll find at a big box store. My go to place for plumbing parts. I highly recommend them.

I recently discovered this gem of a place that has the feel of good old neighborhood hardworking and friendly folks unlike Home Depot's unpersonalized service. Everyone I spoke to in the store was more than helpful and an expert at plumbing. They helped me save money by working around my problem rather then recommending a whole new costly system. I will definitely return to do more business!

I stopped in, hoping that they could identify an odd-ball, old stem to a clawfoot, through-tub, shower body. I forget the knowledgeable, kind fellows name, but he was excellent!

Right off, he knew that it would not match anything branded or of the many on-hand. However, in less than five minutes, he was able to find the stem on-line.

I came for a special washer for kitchen faucet. The staff was very helpful, searched and found the faucet model as well as the replacement kit. Though they don’t carry that washer, he printed the part pages for me and gave me suggestions to contact the manufacturer. Very nice experience!

I went there a few weeks ago and thought the store to be reasonably priced and had an extensive selection. Not knowing much about plumbing and it's accessories (LOL), they were very friendly and helpful Frank (?), I think he is the owner, was really knowledgeable and patient with me. I didn't feel pressured to purchase anything from him. In the world of corporate America with Lowe's and Home Depot, I think it's refreshing that these "mom and pop" stores still exist and give you personalized care. I would definitely go back there and recommend!!

Great store, exceptional service!

I brought in worn out faucet stems with no traceable markings, and was told by other Westchester plumbers and plumbing suppliers that the stems were unidentifiable and likely discontinued. If this would be the case, the cost of completely replacing the fixture would be extremely expensive and unaffordable for me at this time. After further research I came into F/W and spoke with Eddy.

I can't say enough about the guy, he is a total professional and he truly takes pride in helping customers. Truth be told, I have thought (and begrudgingly started to accept) the days of exceptional customer service by skilled people knowing their trade were a thing of the past. I am certain that is not the case at Faucet Works, or with Eddy. Both are local treasures. If you need plumbing supplies or replacement parts -- start here. You'll be thankful you did!

Long story short, Eddy did the 'impossible' -- he identified the mysterious Mott stems, sold me replacement parts and a few other essential tools I would need to do the job. This was NOT a pushy up-sell, as we talked through my project, he listened closely and asked great questions. Ultimately if I didn't have the conversation I would have ended up wasting time and money elsewhere. His approach built my confidence that he knows his stuff and genuinely wants to help.

Needless to say, I am a new loyal customer and highly recommend stopping by Faucet Works and talking with Eddy.

I never leave reviews but I have to for this place. Found the rare valve that I couldn't find anywhere else in a 20 mile radius. The service is fantastic and friendly. I would like to add the few times I have been there that the customers waiting online are often extremely helpful and willing to share their experience. I don't know if I will ever have to come back but I can't recommend them enough...... especially if you need to find that old rare part that nobody else can find!
