It's been almost a month since ATG installed a new Navien boiler in my home.

I'm not one to usually leave reviews, but I have to now because their service has been outstanding. Andrias was particularly attentive to my needs and fair with the pricing for the job.

My initial impression is that the work done so far is very impressive, and I would definitely recommend this company.

I would not recommend this company. We had initially hired them for two separate projects involving our family members - installing new systems in their homes. Andreas, who was responsible for quoting us, came across as very professional and reassuring, which is why we decided to go with him.

We did our due diligence by exploring the space provided for installation, especially since we were renovating a basement and wanted to ensure everything was set up as needed. We also brought in new nest thermostats and Andreas suggested switching to Ecobee if we wanted to do so. We ended up replacing the nest thermostats with Ecobee, which Andreas installed alongside his team.

However, things took a turn for the worse during the installation of the Navien boiler. The job was done on the first day, but when I called Andreas later that night to report an issue with the system shutting off due to an error code, he informed me that he was heading out of town for a trade show and would return at some point to fix it.

When my parents called him again about the problem persisting, Andreas directed them to restart the system, which temporarily resolved the issue. However, when I followed up with him and asked him to send someone to address the problem, he told me that it would have to wait until his return. He then instructed me to investigate a potential cause - water getting stuck in the exhaust pipe due to incorrect installation.

I became increasingly frustrated as I realized the install was botched from the start. The installation also left a significant amount of water in a low area of the ceiling, which Andreas had to redo on his next visit. The lack of follow-up and service is appalling, especially considering the company's claims about warranty coverage.

In fact, when we called for assistance later on, we received no response from them. I ended up pulling my cousin's project away from this company and opted for a different installer instead. My parents are still shaken by the experience, and I want to warn potential customers: be cautious of this company's promises and follow-up service, as it falls far short of what they advertise.

Had a great experience with this business - they got it done right, no fuss. The staff were super professional and the owner made sure I was in the loop with the progress on my heating system. Top-notch service, can't go wrong here.

I strongly advise against using ATG Mechanical Service. The owner, Andrea Goustas, seems untrustworthy. I had work done on my boiler and requested a receipt so I could claim a refund under Navien's warranty. He promised to provide it later but never followed through, despite my repeated calls. I suspect he overcharged me, which explains his reluctance to deliver the receipt. His poor customer service is a clear red flag. Don't bother working with anyone affiliated with him - avoid ATG Mechanical Service at all costs. I've also filed a complaint with the NYC Consumer Complaint Board.

Victor and Saul were top-notch, fixing my boiler problem fast and at a reasonable rate. Other companies quoted way more but ATG got it right. Glad I chose them - I'll definitely come back. If you've got a Navien unit, they're especially great to deal with, showing expertise and knowledge.
