Home Services reviews in Franklin Square, New York

This is my first time visit this store and I am impressed! This place has everything (tools, equipment, gardening supplies, seeds, etc. basically anything you can name it) you need for the garden and plants. I know nothing about taking care of the lawn, but I am trying to renovate my lawn for the very first time as my lawn is filled with weeds now. I was wandering around the weed killers, soils, seeds sections and a gentleman named John came up to ask if I needed help. I explained to him my situation and asked him for advice. He explained the whole process of renovating/restoring the lawn to me and gave me a few suggestions in terms of what products I should try. He answered all my questions patiently and made sure I understand what I needed to do. He was also very honest about what products/tools I should get at this point. He wasn't really pushing me to buy any of the equipment and tools. The store itself is very spacious and each aisle had lots of space to keep social distancing. Definitely will come back when I am ready to move forward with my lawn renovation project.

Nice place. Plenty of parking. If you are refilling propane tanks, here's how to do it. Leave the tanks in the car, go in to the cashier to pay for the propane. They will call for someone, give them the receipt and they will fill it up. Nice and easy.

As one of the items on my honey-do list, I had to make a stopped at Garden world. It's was surprising to see that koi fish at a nursery. The floors outside are uneven so it's ruff pushing the wagon once you add weight to it. Nonetheless, the place is roomy, great parking and staff was ready to help customer.

prices are absolutely ridiculous, just paid $140 for a tree thats almost $80-90 elsewhere; mind you this tree is average. each year is a substantial price hike... will be travelijg elsewhere going forward . i prefer to shop and support f.s as a resident but home depot has better quality and pricing lol or the tree farm pop up on hillside next to ymca.

I’ve frequently shop at this establishment and have never had issues with the customer service until today. This morning I went to Garden World and found a few beautiful plants to purchase. There were two women at the register. The youngest one was working on a project while the older one was just talking. The oldest was responsible for ringing up customers, yet when she saw that I was standing there she didn’t greet me.
Her cellphone rang immediately after and she spent the entire time talking on the telephone instead of focusing on me, the customer. She was so engrossed in the telephone conversation that she didn’t ring up all of my items and didn’t notice until she started packing the items. This individual remained on the telephone for the duration of my transaction. This was so unprofessional that in hindsight I should’ve canceled the purchase -
I love shopping locally, and Garden World is one of my favorite spots. I recently stopped in and saw the Christmas trees that Theresa usually decorates. They’re absolutely beautiful, though it’s just not quite the same as it used to be. Theresa is exceptional and so talented. She always makes my wreaths and bows, and they come out perfect every time. She’s also incredibly sweet and patient with customers. Sophia is a doll, and I truly enjoy everyone who works there. Their customer service is always outstanding. The young boys are always so polite and eager to help, often offering to carry my packages to the car. It’s those thoughtful touches that make all the difference. Garden World truly goes above and beyond for their customers, and it’s a pleasure to shop there every season.

Pine Oaks Landscaping been around for decades they bring quality work to another level. They are professional knowledgeable

Great service and collaboration. Highly recommend.
-
Price-wise, they charge about what all other gardeners charge on Long Island. However, this company’s business model is to send 5 - 6 guys to your home and spend roughly 10 - 15 minutes on the job before leaving.

This company is extremely professional and has clearly done their due diligence! Their service is clearly superior to any other landscaping service I've used. I'm currently a customer and have been so for several years. I have never had any issues. The owner and his team are definitely passionate about their work and are also considerate to me as a customer! Thank you!

Service was good and we were not rushed

For years it was DIY landscaping and you can see where it got me. I saw Charles' work in Floral Park and was inspired to reach out to him. I started with a small project in the backyard to hide my neighbor's unkept garage. Then I finally wanted to clean up on the front of the house and give my home the curbside appeal that it deserves. I couldn't be happier with the decision I made. Worth every dollar spent, just remember it's still your responsibility to water!

No levantan la basura. Todo dejan tirado al lado de otras casas. No les recomiendo.

John and his crew were absolute professionals. The landscape in the front yard looks so beautiful. Does not even look like the same house. And John created a backyard oasis. I could not be happier. Thank you to John & crew!
