Called them on Monday for an estimate on a tree removal. They came promptly on time the next day and the price was right. They came the following day to remove the tree and grind the stump. Came out great and was cleaned up beautifully. Would highly recommend them.

Rene and his team did an excellent job removing several tremendously huge oak and pine trees in our backyard, some very close to our house, as well as stump removal and pruning. Professional, super friendly, on time, very knowledgeable and kept communication open with us through out the day to our satisfaction. They strategically swung the ropes around the branches step by step to cut each down. Amazing to watch. Clean up was immaculate and my neighbors were very impressed with the clean street after all logs were removed. The team was super, and all payed very much detail and attention not to damage the skip laurel hedges while working.
Will highly recommend and for sure call them back for further services.

I have just one word: FANTASTIC! Rene and his wife, Flor, are two terrific individuals with whom I had the pleasure of dealing with. I needed to remove multiple trees (some smaller and some larger that required a permit). From the first day when Rene showed up to give me an estimate for the job, to the very end, it was smooth sailing. Getting permits from the City was a bit of a pain, but Flor was very helpful. Everything was quick. She sent over the required documents and insurance and it was off to the races! On the day of the job, a crew of 10 folks came by and got rid of multiple trees extremely quickly and efficiently. It was such a well run operations that even my neighbor joined in and had them do some tree trimming on his property. The best part - they cleaned everything and left the place cleaner than when they found it. The pricing was reasonable. Professionalism, courtesy, and quality. What more do you need? I’ve used Rene and his team twice now. First for cutting down a huge oak tree and grinding the stump down. The second time to remove a large crab apple tree. These guys are awesome. They arrive on time, work quickly and efficiently and take care not to damage anything near the work zone. They also clean up all the debris. Really great value for the money. Beyond excellent experience. Rene and his crew do wonderful work. I have used them a few times and have recommended them to friends who also had a great experience. They trimmed the tops of my Leyland Cypresses that were huge and overgrown and they trimmed the sides as well. Great service, great price, neat and clean and the nicest people. Multiple guys worked together seamlessly and removed a humongous tree in our backyard within 3-4 hours. I am so happy that I used Freeport Tree Service! They were so amazing. I have a very old Maple tree that I was worried about falling. I called for an estimate and they came out the same day, the very next day the crew came and removed the tree and the stump and trimmed up my other tree just in time for Spring. The crew is talented and professional and very efficient. Their price was great and they were here quickly. I would absolutely recommend this service to anyone and everyone! Freeport Tree Service was very professional and very good. The way they drop the branches and the trees are very precise. Their prices are very good. I definitely recommend them.

Excellent experience. I live in North Merrick. I had two tall trees in the back yard with very low branches (leaves were about 6 feet off the ground). The branches also were going on the garage roof. They came out and cut off all of the low-hanging branches so now the remaining branches are about 20 feet off the ground and the roof is clear.

The price was very good. The service was excellent. The work took about an hour to complete and the entire yard was cleaned up before they left. I had someone come out for a quote on Saturday and the work was done on Monday. I highly recommend this company.

I started this process of researching several tree svcs about 3 weeks ago. I needed a tree removed & a Sycamore trimmed. Some took a day or two to respond or never showed up. Others came & wanted to bargain and fast talk over me after hearing about other quotes. Rene called back within 2 hrs & came by the same day (Tues 4/23). He was very professional, genuine knowledgeable & had the best affordable price. He said they'd be there Thurs afternoon 4/25 and they were. He answered each time I called. The workers were very nice & are experts at their craft. I was amazed at the job & clean up. It took no more than 2 hrs. Thank you Rene ! For making a stressful situation, a pleasant experience. They were removing some trees on our street and I asked them if they could trim back some trees on our property. They were very efficient in assessing the tree and understood what I wanted. They gave me a fair price and was done before I even noticed. They cleaned up everything afterwards and made sure everything was good before they left. Highly recommend them for any tree removal needs.

I used their services twice and they did an amazing job both times. Rene was very professional and did not try to overcharge me like the other tree service companies. Flor was very responsive and helpful. I couldn’t recommend this company enough!

Incomplete job. Has not come to complete the removal of a tree stump. They didn’t go deep enough. I paid for this service. Called many times and spoke to wife. She has told me many different stories. The machine broke down, they’re behind schedule, We’re coming next Monday. We will call you. Still waiting for her to call. Very irresponsible

The owner came to my house promptly and provided a written estimate. On Saturday morning, the team arrived on time, efficiently cut down the tree, and cleaned up the branches and debris—all in about an hour. I spoke with the team and learned that they had several jobs scheduled that day. The only tip I’d give is to be punctual, as the owner carefully preplans each job, which is likely how they offer such a good price. It's similar to the difference between retail and wholesale—since they handle multiple tree removals in a day, they can keep costs lower. Overall, I highly recommend Freeport Tree Service.
