We are in a small walk up, and half our building lost heat during a very cold week. Tommy N and Jay D from Kew Forest Plumbing came out and were incredibly helpful. Not only did they fix the issue, but explained everything in great detail so that we understood how to prevent the problem from happening in the future. In addition, Tommy N continued to check in for the next few days to make sure we had heat. We will absolutely use them again moving forward.

I used Kew Forest to repair an urgent heating pipe leak the weekend before Thanksgiving (right before my house filled with guests). They came by on the weekend and advised on the best course of action and then completed the work that Tuesday. The team was knowledgeable, thorough, and friendly. I’ll use them again in the future.

From their main office (Sharon) to the plumbers that came out (Jay & Ryan) 5 stars! Their team is professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I called them to repair a toilet that wasn’t flushing properly and they showed up next day. They resolved my issue and I would call them again should I have other plumbing needs. They aren’t cheap but when it comes to plumbing you want it done right!

Very straightforward service. Had an issue with the pilot on my fireplace and not only did they resolve it, they also showed us how we can troubleshoot the issue ourselves in the future. Glad to support the trades especially when they're local.

It’s Saturday morning our boiler was leaking and we could not wait for Monday to get it fixed. Tommy N came on to our house with in a few hours and fixed our boiler. Luckily he was able to fix it before it turned into a bigger problem. Tommy N was professional, efficient and delivered high quality service. The price was fair and we now have peace of mind. We will go back to Kew Forest Plumbing and Heating and ask for Tommy N with any plumbing or heating needs.

An 2 hour gas line replacement should not cost $3,000. Their prices were outrageous. This is the only complaint. Nice people, but that only goes so far when it comes to their cost.

Extremely prompt and helpful. Fixed multiple issues with steam heating system in the house I just moved into. Charged very reasonable rates, and when one issue cropped up again the next technician only charged for parts not labor since they’d just serviced the same thing.

I've used Kew Forest Plumbing over the years and always had a good experience. Today was no exception...J.D. and Ryan were timely, polite, respectful and professional. They explained the issue and course of action which was approved by their manager. In total the job took less than 2 hours and they kept me updated throughout the whole service call.

Tommy came promptly for an emergency visit over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend when our heat went off and it was in the low 30's. He was thorough and was able to determine the problem quickly and fix it. He also made sure our radiators were working and made some suggestions to improve the heating system. had a an emergency call on Saturday and no-one picked up except Kew Forest plumbing specifically Tommy. He told me to send pictures of the problem which I did , so he can stop by the shop and get parts .I had a problem with a flush hammer that was leaking and Tommy put it back together and it worked great. He saved me from an irate tenant .He also pointed out a couple of other issues that need to be fixed which I will call Kew forest to do . He’s an excellent mechanic and plumber those are far and few qualities in these times . I have used Kew forest for the past 10 years on various service calls and they always come out do a great job. Pipes in my boiler room were leaking (during the Super Bowl, of course!) and after asking me to send some videos of the problem, Tom at Kew Forest came right over. He knew just what to do to temporarily stop the leaking so I’d have heat tonight. Very personable and professional service, and he patiently explained every step. I highly recommend them!

I just had a faucet replaced in our bathroom sink. They were polite, professional and neat. After they left, I noticed the hot and cold water lines were reversed. I called the plumber that had done the job and he immediately contacted the office and within 30 minutes two other plumbers can back and fixed the problem. I would not have second thought about hiring this company again if we ever need plumbing services again. Keep their phone number on your speed dial. They are fantastic!

Tommy came and helped us getting our boiler working again. The smart thermostat stopped working with our old style boiler. Tommy was able to figure out a way around to make it work. He fixed another issue 2 years ago, a true miracle worker. Tommy and his Key Forest teammates are always very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. This is a new construction building and most breaks or are done in a rush or lack of knowledge. Being without a sink for 6 weeks is a looong time. Today Tommy and AJ fixed a very poorly installed sink. But they solved it and look!!! We will most definitely come back if another problem comes up (it will). Thanks boys!!! Fast, sharp and nice is what they were. I recommend them highly.

*This review pertains to a job I had done recently by Kew Forest Plumbing. I removed the old bathtub myself, so Kew Forest Plumbing is not responsible for any of the Sheetrock, tile work etc.

I reached out to Kew Forest Plumbing to install a new bathtub. They sent someone to measure and the owner gave me an estimate. I agreed and they were there the same week with all the materials. I was working that day and unable to supervise.
I came to check when the job was complete and was surprised to see the tub was smaller than the space originally measured. In addition, it was sitting on shims. This was not discussed with me. I paid cash in full because I was sure they would resolve this issue. That turned out to be a mistake. I went back and forth via email with the owner and his story changed multiple times. Ultimately, he wanted to charge me again to resolve the issue. I refused and he finally wished me luck and ended the conversation.

They measured 60 x 32. You can see from the wood exposed below which they installed. The tub installed was 60 x 30. They suggested I pour concrete to fill in the two inch gap. The tub is not sturdy because its on shims and its also way too narrow for the space.

I authorized them to do the job without asking any questions because I trusted them. They've done great work for me before. They dropped the ball on this one.

Tommy and AJ were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain each part of the boiler service step by step, shared helpful tips, and even looked for ways to save me money. What really stood out was their professionalism. They are fully licensed and insured which gave me peace of mind that the job was done properly and safely.

Yes, their prices are on the higher side, but the quality of service, expertise, and customer care make it worth every dollar. You truly get what you pay for. I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable plumbing and boiler service.

If i could give this place a negative star i would. The worst experience in my life of dealing with such unprofessional place has being this one, they make up prices and rules as they go. Once you start noticing the errors they stop answering your calls and emails. They are never clear on their policies. Everyone is telling you different things, the tech says one thing the office says something different. If you pay a set price on something and they have to return for whatever reason to finish what they started they want to charge you full price again and all this you find out the hard way because they never tell you what the policy are until you are involved in the mess already. I had to have them come back after a repair was made and the first time i was told if i pay cash i get exempt from the taxes fees the second time around they charged me taxes even after i paid in cash. They are nasty and rude when you try to ask questions in regard to the issue and doing want to talk to you. Please if you ever decide to use these people make sure you get everything in writing because they will argue with you it’s not what they said when things turn out differently the day of service. I was just about to have other family and friend members use them but i will make sure that they don’t.
