I received excellent service from Mike Deckelmann's Landscaping. His crew was just over to level out areas of my front lawn and to replace some sod along the walkway. They were very neat and the job came out great. From the quick response to my text, getting a quote and scheduling the job -Mike was professional and easy to work with. I was in need of an emergency spring clean up due to an injury. I called quite a few places and there was either no response, a delay, or an astronomical price quote. Let me tell you, I was provided quality customer service, quality on site service, and a very fair price to get the work done that I needed. My yard looks great and I could not be happier. They worked with me and my schedule to come at a time I was comfortable with. The guys that worked on my yard did awesome work. It was a big job, as our yard had become quite overgrown and unruly. They gave us our yard back to enjoy! I would definitely use their service again.

Mike was fantastic to work with. He responded right away and came over the next day to offer me a quote. He called the day prior to let me know that him and his crew were going to come by and complete the work. That type of service is extremely helpful, especially for dog owners and people who work. Mike and his crew are great. They cut my grass every Thursday and they are always reliable. When they first started, I was out of the state and Mike would text me pictures of the work he did. He really goes above and beyond. They have also helped me with tree limb clean up after the most recent storm. His crew did not disappoint. They were honest and trustworthy. A neighbor had cleaned the driveway for us, before I hired them. And they informed us and sent a photo. And he continued the subsequent snow removals. This construction company is fantastic. We’ve used them for 2 projects so far, couldn’t be happier and will never use anyone else again! The entire staff from the owner, John, to the manager, Paul, and all the workers we encountered, were friendly, professional and very knowledgeable in every aspect of our project. All companies work on multiple jobs at the same time yet John and Paul checked in on ours daily-sometimes a few times a day-and made us feel like our project was the only one they had going on. I’ve never experienced that before. Companies in the past I worked with I usually had to call, remind, and chase down just to keep them coming to our house! Not with John J. And we could basically reach out to them at any time. We first used them for a full conversion of a sunroom, bathroom and laundry room. It came out absolutely beautiful. Our 2nd project was last spring when they transformed our simple backyard space into something stunning that now feels like a resort. Large, beautiful pool deck and masonry. This job was post-Covid and they took all the safety precautions so I felt completely comfortable. Several families who came over and saw their work firsthand were so impressed they hired them for their own home projects. This company went above and beyond with everything they did. John Jay Contracting created a beautiful master bathroom for us. Even during the crazy pandemic and all the delays on shipments John was professional and got the job done.
