Long Beach Plumbing to the rescue.
It was a cold Thanksgiving day this year. We woke up to a freezing cold house. I went to take a shower and no hot water. I immediately went to check our Navien Combo unit, which was displaying an Error code.
Mind you, it was 6:30AM when I placed my call to Long Beach Plumbing. John answered the call, I explained to him the problem and the error message on the Navien. John stated "I'll be there in 20 minutes. When John arrived, he surveyed the situation and determined that we weren't getting any gas to the house. He contacted National Grid and explained to them that their workers, who had just finished running new gas lines to our house had somehow created the problem.
We were scheduled to go to Massachusetts for Thanksgiving. National Grid explained that they could send a crew to check out the problem but it wouldn't be for several hours.
At that point, John really stepped up. He worked it out with National Grid to call his cell phone when they arrived at our site. We gave John keys to our house so that he could get back into the house when National Grid showed up.
We left for Massachusetts, leaving Long Beach Plumbing and Heating to get the situation corrected.
Several hours later, I received a call from John at Long Beach Plumbing and Heating. He explained that when they ran the new line there must have been some water that managed to get into the gas meter and froze. John explained that National Grid had to replace our Gas meter and once that was done we had heat and hot water again.
I truly believe that this service provided by Long Beach Plumbing and Heating went above and beyond your typical service call.

I have nothing but positive things to say about John and Long Beach Plumbing & Heating. We had a flooding issue that first started at 7:00pm last night-we initially thought it was a breach in the wall from all of the rain, but soon saw issues with our tenant’s shower drain and realized this was in fact a plumbing/sewer issue. After calling the plumber my family had used for many years and them not being available to come, I reached out to John. He was at my house within minutes. He was so determined to fix what turned out to be a sewage blockage issue. He stayed and worked late and was really quite kind.

Jon and crew from Long Beach Plumbing & Heating were true professionals. Not only did they service my Navien system, and fix some leaks, Jon entertained my kids as well. They even came early for an emergency fix and follow up.
